i expected the plsstic ball of shite to be the secret toy, i was not expecting it to be because the company was too stupid to realise that maybe putting inedible hazardous plastics and resins that look like food in a product designed for young children, might possibly by a flawed idea.

These are genuinely adorable, but the waste of packaging drives me crazy, especially when "single use" plastic straws were taken away from people with various disabilities, just so that a wasteful government could pretend that they were doing something for the environment. Don't mind me, I'm old and grumpy.

It's scary just how much plastic is used here. You have to take off two plastic wrappers just to get to the actual plastic ball. Then a plastic bag which contains another plastic bag with the plastic 'toy' inside. 😮

The safest compound they can use is called silicone resin. It’s a non toxic, a minor irritant and due to it being a polymer, it’s makes it easier to wash off without leaving any residue on the hands and non flammable, due to silicone being nonflammable and non-reactive to other synthetic compounds. If the company want to replace the actual hazardous epoxy resin (which most likely would be) this resin is generally the safest option. I do organic chemistry so you don’t have to. (Im a huge organic chemistry fan❤)🐋

I looked at these on a popular online store in my country and there was a 1 star review from an adult who said they love mini foods and they thought that it had "pink slime" and complained that their hands were sticky for several days. Even an adult interested in these things didn't have the sense to know it was resin.

I've not seen the video yet. I'm already assuming the toy hidden in the thumbnail behind a question mark is just a Kinder egg capsule. I'm probably wrong but we'll see. Edit: Pleasantly Surprised about it being something else. Watch it yourself to find out and good god does it out perform "The Kinder Danger" with small parts

interesting that kids today just get plastic balls wrapped in plastic to play with, which contain plastic bags that have other plastic bags and boxes inside them that contain little plastic things. no wonder the teens are all gluing themselves to roads and spraying paintings with bean juice. in my day we had star wars figures on cardboard backing and all we did as teens was shoplift and get drunk because we were not driven insane by inane so called toys.
