Virkhr is the most op weapon in the game ... No exeption what so ever because it will reach you if you are not behinc cover or have a missile that outreaches the virkhr or fly below 10 but thats hard and the missile still can hit you easely even then

try the su-7 with airburst S-3K rockets. Set it to 1000m and fire like 14 or all 28 of them from 1.8 to 1.2 km in head ons. Kinda works like the S-24 airburst but way more spectacular.

15:15 I was the guy in the KA-50 and it was good that they were shooting at you there so i could hover and kill the enemy AA you were the perfect distraction ^^.

btw phly if your trying to hit a plane you can be in third person and still acquire and hold a lock on their plane, makes it easier to keep your tracker facing them

As a fellow Ka pilot, yes... we all do deserve cancer. Those things make top tier boring. :/ Either an entire fleet of Ka's shitstomp the enemy into spawn. OR And entire fleet of Ka's get shitstomped by that one cheeky ADATS hiding in the bushes. I've mostly abandoned the usage my helicopters and I've been enjoying the game far more.

You had the A-G Mode on, wich is air to ground. You need to switch the Radar to A-A Mode to see Planes. BTW this thing is OP as the rest of russian toys ATM.

Switch the radar to A-A only if you want to see only planes.

A few tips, to make you become a better heli pilot. Rule no.1) stay low and slow when engaging.... If you chill above the battlefield or just keep a distance of 2-3 km only, you are an easy target for higher br AA. Rule no.2) keep your distance... Use the helipad further away to spawn. Your vikhrs have 10km range.. USE IT. Rule no.3) lock your target in 3rd person view.... Makes aiming much easier, and you dont have this little fire box, in which your target normally has to be, if you want to launch an atgm. Rule no.4) learn to use the double hover tap.. In some situations, it's good to just tap the button for hovering, and then tap it again. You will see, that it is a good way to reduce speed. Rule no.5) NEVER HOVER .. Stay in full control, because you cant evade missiles, shells or whatever phlies towards you, we you stay in hover mode. Rule no.6) use the terrain.. espacially mountains or hills give you a lot of cover (remember rule 1) Hope, that i could help you. I love to play helis and AA, so i know what i'm talking about..
