Cụ mua thì ủng hộ thôi. Chứ bắp mắc hơn so với mặt bằng của những người khác bán. Cụ trước bán 20k/trái nhưng dân tình nói quá, lấy tuổi già để bán giá cao. Nên đợt đó không ai mua của cụ. Nên về giá 10k. Nhưng đi tới Nguyễn Huệ- Hùng Vương họ bán 5k ăn chất lượng và ngon hơn. Xin lỗi phải đính chính. Nhà cụ ở P9 hẻm Mậu thân. Con cái cụ ai cũng khá hết nhưng mà không hiểu sao lại để 2 ông bà già đẩy đi bán như vậy. Âu cũng là cái nghiệp mua bán của cụ. Ngồi không 1 chỗ không được.

Usually Viet ppl do not expect handouts or “tips” in general. So what you see there with that man’s reaction is his honest reaction. It may appear he was inconsiderate or not appreciative but in fact he was shocked and just said Thankyou.

Max is such a kind guy. He may not speak Vietnamese fluently but he be eating Vietnamese food fluently. Him and chili peppers go so naturally together- you wouldn't think he didn't grow up with it. I'm starting to think our boy here was Vietnamese in his past life or somethin'.

I really hope to god that VN continues to successfully push back against the franchise business. The reason why VN eateries are so friendly and have such quality products is because the owner of these eateries own the store, that's their livelihood and reputation. The franchise in Western countries and Korea and Japan don't have owners working the store, they have employees working for minimum wage with no emotional investment in the eatery so that's why franchise restaurants have absolutely zero characteristics/personalities. Even VN franchise restaurants have the same problem.
Seeing your love for Vietnamese food, your eagerness to learn even bits of Vietnamese and just the way you interact with people really makes me smile; I wished my mom can cook as great as the foods you’re eating but... sometimes they’re amazing, other times, just okay ish... this is all coming from a US born Vietnamese chick. This is gonna be a huge generalization but some bigger names out there give me the feeling that they are too self-centered and sometimes would leave the local vendors/chefs hanging while they make a long ass speech. Just a small comparison to say that I really admire your attitude towards the vendors and how you care about their presence. Can't wait for your next videos.
I remember the time I travelled alone through Hue - Danang - Hoi An when watching your video. I can feel your feeling. It's really really freedom feeling. Rided motors on the long beach road, eat special local food. Wish you have more amazing trip in Vietnam!

Being born in the United States, I’m very aware how lucky I am being a second generation Cambodian American, with the rights and opportunities that I have here. It made me sad to see older people selling food on streets when I was there. Thank you for the kindness Max ❤️ .

Trong những người làm về ẩm thực VN mình xem, mình thấy bạn này là người thưởng thức đồ VN hợp ý mình nhất, cách ăn rất thuần Việt, dù bạn ấy cũng làm về ẩm thực nước khác. Mình đánh giá khả năng đánh giá của bạn này cao hơn những người khác (mà mình xem trên youtube).
Rất biết cách lấy lòng ng Việt mặc dù cháo cực kỳ loãng, chắc nấu bằng cơm còn nguyên hạt cơm và nước giống kiểu bỏ cơm vào nước sôi 😄 nếu nấu bằng gạo sẽ quánh, sánh và ngon hơn
