5 Miles of Hell. Is it the most difficult singletrack dirt bike trail in Utah? I did this trail solo. (Not recommended) It is a very technical and a very challenging trail. It is a combination of rigid sandstone and sandy washes. The early settlers called it slickrock because of the low traction between horses' metal shoes and the rock's sloping surfaces. On the flip side it offers excellent traction for rubber tires. It could be called griprock. Upon my Yamaha WR250F motorcycle I was in first gear most of the time. In this video I will show you how difficult the trail was for me. Also, I will share some of the things I learned to be more prepared for the next time I tackle this trail.
If you choose to do this trail, BE PREPARED! Make certain your bike is in tip top condition as well as your physical stamina and endurance needs to be ready for 5 Miles of Hell or it will be just that.
