I also work in a kitchen and find myself doing more than is required of my position because I can't deal with an unsanitary and disorganized work enviroment. Because they’re corporate chains they have a lot of regulations and standards to follow and if the restaurant isn’t up to code, corporate will fire the manager and get a new one to run the joint properly.
