This was fun to watch, I dont mind chicken feet myself. They are super chicken flavored, but they are basically cartilage and skin with 0 meat. I recommend trying new things at every opertunity and I'm happy to see Jimmy explore new things.

Went to Korea to visit my Son 9 years ago, he moved from Scotland to Seoul to teach English for one year, he never came home 😲! I now have a lovely Korean Daughter and a 7 month old Grandon who is super cute, so proud of them all. Heading back to Jeju in April 2023 for my 4th visit to Korea, I love the place, the respect, the culture, its people and the food. In Scotland we also eat the inside of a sheep stomach, its called tripe and tastes like sh£t !!

That place was a very very popular place for gopchang and makchang believe it or not... I won't eat it again because it's too unhealthy! I'm down to eat more liver for the health benefits though. You should try gaebul just once haha it's not bad
chicken feet with the traditional soy glaze is bomb, it drenches the chicken skin to be somewhat soggy which totally get rids of the weird dinosaur bumpy skin texture in your mouth

Also I havent tried most of those except chicken feet and intestines, but I'd definitely give it a go hahaha. Yukhoe is probably the closest thing ive eaten next to these. (raw liver and omasum)

Nope it is not hard at all! These days Korean are starting to be very open with Vegan and Vegetarian that there's a lot of restaurants, cafes and bakeries open up to cater these groups of people. Even instant frozen food too at the supermarket are now has wide variety to choose from and all of it taste actually good. I love them.

I dont understand how ppl eat chicken feet ,i tried it but im not comfortable with it idk why ,maybe it varies according to people,but the butcher sometimes adds chicken feet when i buy chicken from him
I'm Asian and I also can't enjoy organs, they just have too specific flavor that only belongs to the insides(?). Liver for example, to me taste like chewing blood. Those who enjoys organs are such cool people.
You should try the cow liver in the Morrocan way , in general you must try Moroccan food it's amazing and unique , but you must eat with your hands or with bread (knife and fork are forbidden while eating for most dishes)
I'm also not a huge fan of organ meat but time to time, I'll have some. Recently a new Korean restaurant called Gopchang Story opened in Texas so we tried it. The assorted gochang gui was very tasty with many different cuts, beef hearts, big and small intestine, stomach and other entrails. I definitely think having it grilled helps to make everything more edible for me, plus as you showed, there is a lot of oil/fat that are in some of the cuts and grilling it helps to release some of it and make it less rich to eat. What was a bit new to me is they served a lightly grilled dduk. It was slightly crispy on the outside but the inside was way too firm, as if it were uncooked. Is this something they serve now in Korea?
Gopchang Story does a really good job of cleaning the hell out of their organs, marinates it, and dusts it in their msg magic powder. My kids love it. The place Jimmy went to looks like they're just cooking it fresh, unmarinated .

Gaebul dish in the end looked tasty! I have a hard time eating organ meat, maybe because it wasn't something I ate while growing up. But it's something I try to do more often because I think the whole animal should be consumed if slaughtered. Things like liver is also really nutritious. Good video!
Okay seriously same thing as for a Chinese restaurant if the snow flies buzzing around and it doesn't look like there is anyone that has clean the restaurant for a while if either really good or extremely bad
