you should try eating a sheep's brain cooked with Turmeric (served with rice...) it's a very popular dish in the Arab world and it's full of nutrients useful for the brain... (otherwise hard to find in the desert and...) (and yeah Turmeric - curcumine is a powerful anti inflammatory and great to get rid of the bad stuff from the brain and keeps the great stuff... And it's also generally very very healthy for your brain) just Google there are plenty of researches about how good it is combined....
Wow wow wow.. getting nice paycheck from some Falun Gong or similar anti-CCP organisation must be great huh?? Big paycheck must be... lots of hardwork here huh? Clap clap clap
Chrysippus because western media gives more attention to celebrities and what kind of shit they took that day. Also occasionally making a pathetic joke at trump
Yeah, eating placenta is almost normalized in the west already. Eating aborted fetuses does happen a lot as well, but is obviously not done in the open. People are morons 😐
Chrysippus China has been practicing these ways for thousands of years, that’s why it’s normal to them passed down to each generation!! Crazy to us in the States but normal to a lot of Chinese not all but a lot!!
@@Xi_Jinping_Pooh_Shill You know, they're getting better at making these food cubes. Say, have you read the newspeak dictionary? It's quite the read! (Fake smile to hide the terror of Big Brother.)
There is a 'Soylent' water company in the US. I assume their bottled water doesn't actually contain people. There is also a 'Soylent' meal replacement powder.
What about all the Organs harvested for Transplant from Prisoners/Political dissidents, or during the "One Child Policy" they used to keep a Bucket of Water nearby to drown Baby Girls.
I know many people are very anti religion claiming that religious people cause many terrible issues, but those people should look at the atrocities that occur in countries like China that force religion out of people's lives. Ok, yeah, many muslim government countries have their terrible things also. I don't exactly know why most Christians used to be horrible in the middle ages but in current times it looks as though the majority of people in so called Christian countries do not have baby eating issues or torture tactics. Kiddy diddling preasts aside, at least that is considered terrible. Sorry for the rambling, this was not a "religious people are the best" or an "atheists are terrible" comment at all. Just a general observation. I love to look at the whys of the world. Edit: Perhaps it has to do with the godlike worship of the government which nurtures bad behavior?
And I thought the part in Northern China was rough, the one about the dog meat and what they do to their own pets (and they won't evem admit the obvious). Disgusting🤢...
I lived in VN for 3 years. At first it feels like there are no rules on the road..... and then after you ride the bike around for a few months you realize that everyone is following a predictable pattern that is fairly easy to follow. It's still like 10x more dangerous than being on the road in the US. Especially b/c the truck drivers are lunatics. The thing that always upset me was the drivers rolling through blind corners in a residential area at 50 kph where kids were playing in the street. One of the many reasons I won't raise my kids in Vietnam......
Yeah, once you get the rhythm I don't feel like it's particularly dangerous you do need to understand that after a lot of practice. People are aware of you there. In China they don't have that feeling of anticipation or understanding vectors. It's very different in China, they will just jump out or stop on the side of the road. They aren't generally actively aware of people around them.
go to turkey when i traveled only about 5-10% of the street lights worked for the road lights. i watched a cement carrying dumper truck full on stop from travelling atleast 50-60mph down a road because a moped rider beeped at him before the truck did so that means the moped has right of way, well it nearly turned into a fucking nightmare as this truck is zigzagging down past this junction and this barely alive ped that has zero power is trying to whip out of the junction before this truck just splats everything. ahh i miss living like that now.
Even my dad think eating human fetus is monstrous and he joked about how he might had eaten human meat in China when he was a kid in Mao’s era because everyone was starving back then. He talked about how he bought a bag of mystery meat and took it home and cooked and eat it and found a finger nail in it. It freaked him out but he ate it anyway since he was starving. Everyone in China was starving in the past. Abortion wasn’t common practice in China in the past until the communist took power. Hurting babies even unborn was despise by many Chinese especially traditional Chinese people. Abortion was just forced population control. I don’t know how people end up eating baby fetus since that wasn’t considered traditional medicine. Based on a quick google search these fetus pills and eating human fetus is a new phenomenon. The practice was popularized by a modern artist Zhu Yu. Sadly I believe there is a market for this because someone created this idea that eating baby fetus is ok because of the abundance of aborted fetus that is available. Someone is marketing this. Some cruel disgusting people are trying to profit from this.
Last Asian rhino, Asia’s few remaining Javan and Sumatran rhinos are some of the most threatened large mammals in the world. Their numbers are precariously low but if effective conservation measures are put in place, we know, from our experience with the greater one-horned rhino, that it’s possible to bring a species back from the brink. Together with governments, local communities and other NGOs we’re working to improve rhino conservation and management by supporting monitoring and protection units, restoring rhino habitat, and identifying suitable habitats that are safe from poaching where rhino populations can expand."
@Oliver Von arx Actually, Poaching is very strictly and quite effectively policed in many parts of Africa. It's definitely not just a slap on the wrist. it's a really tough struggle, bordering on warfare, with wildlife rangers in danger for their lives. The lure of big money brings criminals and greedy people doing desperate things. The only way to stop it, ultimately, is at the demand level, not the supply level. The TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) industry is the problem.
Local Vietnamese here, that road is kinda tame for that hour but yeah, shit goes haywire during rush hours and the people flocking to big cities doesn't help
Yes, it is incredibly strange how people think this weird Chinese medicine actually works. I've had conversations with people that are insanely intelligent, but so stupid about something like this. I knew a girl in university, that was working on becoming a CPA tell me that her family has given her and her sister this Chinese medicine made from Sea Horse's that greatly improves memory. They took this before doing the Gao Kao, and they firmly believe it is part of the reason they did so well. After asking them how much it cost, I guess they literally spent thousands of RMB on it. I asked her if there had been any scientific studies done on this type of thing, she had no idea. LOL.
@@Sergio-dh5qh It is all based upon user accounts of people. Not really scientifically studied or anything in a controlled situation. It is sort of like Chinese scraping and fire cupping. You will see it a lot here in China. But studies have shown it isn't effective in curing anything.
actually thanks to amazing conservation efforts the Asian rhino is improving numbers in India, nepal, bhutan and Indonesia!!! I think that's the first time I've had something cool to contribute to the conversation here!
Had my first motorbike accident in Saigon this year. I was jet lagged and didn't use a bike that time for more than a year. Terrible decision, after 3 hours of riding, a truck scared me and I over accelerated so I jumped on the back. After 5 hours of riding some thugs came from behind while riding and tried to steal my phone from the GPS support. Ended up sending the bike back to the city the next day inside a bus cargo, and took the train to my destination. Inside the city is not so bad as the traffic slows you down very much, but on the freeways, damn, at the same time you will have trucks overtaking each other, bikes on the side of the lane around you plus occasional bikes riding the wrong way coming in front of you like suicide bombers.
The dead baby pills would hit the news every now and then when I was living in Korea. It wasn't just this time. There were a lot of weird things people would smuggle into the country.
When I look through the "people nearby" on WeChat, I've seen girls selling beauty products made from placentas and stuff...Not just in China. California.
Ok, placentas are kind of weird and gross, but actually there is nothing ethically wrong with using them. They detach and come out when the baby is born, and nothing dies because of it’s being used. What is horribly wrong is killing babies. I still would not use the placenta products though, (even if it didn’t gross me out) because I would be afraid they were obtained not from a live birth situation, but from an abortion.
When I was in Thailand recently visiting my Wife's Thai-Chinese Family, we went to Chinatown in Bangkok. We sat down to have Lunch and the Family ordered Shark Fin Soup. I mentioned that hark Fin Soup was not accepted as Food in the West. They just shrugged it off like "ok, so what's your point?". They order it whenever they go out to their Favorite Chinese Restaurant. SMFH.
When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissues has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.
Love the videos . This ones a tough conversation but you both did a great job with it.👍👍. .. love watching you two ride around for almost 20 minutes. Level 5? Looked more like a level 100.
I didn't dare drive when I was there for 2 weeks... plus I was told if I was seen even in the front of a car we'd be pulled over. I sat on the back of the moped... and yes still got pulled over on a dirt trail in the middle of a rubber tree plantation. That was 20 years ago though. Looks the same.
Wow! I had heard a story from a cousin that went to Mainland China and visited a market, but then saw something and just went back to his hotel and stayed there the rest of the trip. Thanks for confirming. Its crazy that this still happens in the world, but I'm grateful that you guys address it in an intelligent, organized way. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to making these videos as well as dodging all those cars/trucks. Rock on guys!!
Thanks for making great videos. I like your style and you guys have good chemistry. China interests me and it's great to get first hand information from your experiences. Please continue saying truth to power and stay safe!
Poorly educated people really be driving around causing traffic accidents and think passing red lights is cool, it's a problem here in Vietnam too, disgusting, 🤦, really have to give them an award for giving their own country a bad reputation.
David Williams I had a discussion with my friend about this exact same topic. Western culture has no moral authority to speak on this. Harvesting organs and transplanting into another at least “helps” another. We allow and essentially encourage abortion. Killing innocent babies simply because we have no agency. I know which is worse. I’ve ordered my own child’s termination. A man willing to terminate his own child is undoubtedly the most disturbing.
Al Cubz You’ve proved my point exactly. A moral person can argue both are equally wrong, but only people in our perverse culture would even attempt to argue a person killing their own child is more moral. The truth is plenty will agree with you. The truth is they’d all be just as wrong as you. Good luck to you. Sincerely. It’s plainly obvious to anyone who cares about people that humanity is In need of salvation more than ever. Seek truth and you’ll find God. Seek God and you’ll find truth. Jesus loves you.
I remember bringing this up with a family member about 8-10 years ago and they looked at me weird as if I was making it up. I then did some research and found nothing. Now I feel vindicated! Thank you!
The story I saw in our own news (America) yesterday helped prepare me for it. It was about thousands of preserved fetuses found in an abortion doctor's house and the government wants to test them and identify the mothers, because... I don't know, nightmares?
@@ressljs Yeah, I saw that story too. It's amazing how low people have become, accepting as normal what have surely been bizarre and unacceptable only 50 years ago.
A realistic zombie movie would involve everyone in the world running from the zombies who try to eat them everywhere. Well, everywhere except China. There, the zombies *run away from the people who are trying to eat them*
Motorbiking through Vietnam was one of the more intense thing's I've ever done! I'd do it again!!! Riding in Thailand scare's me so much more just because they drive much faster there imo
RHINO: Not sure about China but Rhinos are found in Assam (Kaziranga National park) & are a protected species. However, in a wave of progress, they have a highway running through the park that affects animal populations as well as regular floods.
I love the timers on the traffic lights! I wish we had them here in NY. They would make it so much easier to conserve momentum (reduce fuel and brake costs).
I've been telling friends and family about some of the weird stuff I've been hearing about China, I'd now consider the stuff they were calling bullshit on pretty light now...
I was in a Chinatown herb shop once. A state health inspector (an ABC) came in to talk to the couple who owned the place. He told me that it is common to enhance traditional herbal medications (the shop sold those as well) with other substances to enhance or reinforce their effects. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and amphetamine are examples of substances that you might be getting in what you assume is just a mixture of different herbs. A traditional preparation for “male energy” could contain both ginseng and small amounts of Viagra. There are also chemicals such as arsenic and strychnine that are part of traditional Chinese medicine that are risky to take.
Some Filipinos eat dogs. Sometimes they'd serve it along Christmas parties next to the pork ones and indulge them on drinks. Your profession often dictates if you're going to encounter these kinds of stuff. It's very unlikely for a BPO employee to pitch in dog meat, but it's more likely for a security guard, army, or factory worker. Fortunately, I don't eat during my wife's (who is a security guard) Christmas parties as I'm an introvert, and hate the food because its either pork or dog.
Y'know when I saw this news it felt weird as I wasn't surprised at all. It comes in phases and gets worse with each new development. I feel like you lads have really blown the doors off the idealism people had around China. Keep riding lads.
I grew , born and bred in North Carolina &haven’t had a single vaccination since 1987. I don’t know if it’s normal in other places but I grew up with leftover meals being left on the counter with aluminum foil and then heat it back up in the microwave or the oven and I’ve only been sick two times in my life, it didn’t hurt me🤷🏻♀️
During one child policy was enforced, at some places the birth control officers would force abort fetases that were 7 or 8 months old or near birth. Some mothers reported hearing their babies cried. It's very very sad. I don't know what happened in recent years, but I did read some young people talked about abortion like going to grocery stores. I am not sure what to think, but I assume there would be a lot of abortions happening there.
Laowhy made a video about his first daughter birth and wants his 2nd daughter to be born in the US or the very least not in China cause the experience was bad even after bribing people and the Birthing Ward and abortion department is right next to each other and I think its terrifying you could be carted to the wrong place
Unfortunately, as animals are pushed to the brink of extinction, they become rarer, more expensive and that creates a bigger incentive for poaching. It is a vicious cycle.
I remember seeing a Chinese movie on Canal+ about a woman who was far older than she appeared. She then reveals her secret, that her raviolis are made with babies... The other female protagonist was initially wanting to have children, but couldn't have them herself, so she found a serogate mother. Once she found the secret to extending her youth, the child was instead used to make her own ravioli...
thanks guys for upping the content. My favorite so far is the podcasts, cuz the audio quality is so good, you guys seem waaay more relaxed, and i listen to them, while im driving home etc. so of all i prefer the podcasts the most, if there was a way for me to get more of them, i would be definitely willing to pay for them, so please let me know. long time fan, thanks again =D
His wife ate fetus soup? >_> This is why you don't miscegenate. As a Germanic man dating Germanic women I never have to worry if my future wife has eaten human babies before. D:
Ironically the placenta is chock a block full of stem cells and if saved cryogenicly can later be used in cancer treatments for the birth children later in life (assuming they were not aborted).
Staunch science-belivers who look down on the superstitious are naturally unaware of their own limitations, as expressed by their attitude. At some point, if you look at the bigger picture, they become wrong again. Intellectualists usually have difficulty with the idea that someone can be stupid but right.
Yes, but it requires a lot of highly technical and extremely difficult processing that you simply won't find in "alternative medicine." Eating an unprocessed placenta, even cooking it first, won't do anything for your health.
@@cerebraldreams4738, no kidding, except possibly for an extremely nutritious but revolting home cooked placenta meal. Don't forget the Romans used to grind up the bark of willow tree to treat pain. Willow bark contains the active ingredient of Asprin.
@@philipandrew1626 - I think a better comparison would be the use of "mummy" in medieval medical texts. Willow bark is still acknowledged because we know it's one of the aspects of medieval medicine that actually worked, and you can still use willow bark as a pain treatment.
"People eat pills made from baby fetuses to cure ailments." In my head, I'm thinking "Oh, they heard about stem cell rejuvenation. Poor methodology, but okay idea." Later, "Oh, never mind. It's sympathetic magic."
