I used to be a Sampras guy. When Roger started winning all his majors I was pulling against him. But the more I watched 8:34 8:34 his game and his brilliance, I became a Federer guy.
Yeah, his quality of play wasn't very high, apart from the Halle-Wimbledon stretch and the Basel tournament. Consequently, results wise it was inferior to 2014, the year when Roger first played with the new racquet.
@@lammie001 I think at the Open he ran into a bunch of guys who kept mentally checking out against him for some reason (Isner, Wawrinka, Gasquet etc.) which made him unprepared against Djokovic. Also the 2017 backhand wasn't there (yet).
