Technically is op. Being in a drone pinging people is easy and it is even easier to shoot where the ping is. Only complete morons wont be able to do this. War Thunder had this kind of drone addition and it is really op. Just stupid. I honestly think it is a scummy mechanic which shouldn;t be added into games like this.
@@levi_exiled8579 You know you can do the same with a sniper/machinegunner, a guy with binoculars and fireteamlead and .... yeah complete morons wont even thing about it. The hard part is getting the ammo delivered with a fob. Squad is a "observ, plan, act" type of game. Nikolai's team "succeded" at doing what the other team failed to think : use mortar to destroy the barbewire so you don't have to risk loosing tickets, and after that, use a lot of smoke (even mortar smoke) to cross. Another mistake was to bring the tank so close... it can fire from a mile north (and blow up the barbewire too). A drone is no more op than a brain
I like how the australian team had all those buildings perfect for overwatch and supporting a push and they used literally none of them and just banzai changed through the open with no support lmao
Thanks, I try! It makes it so much easier when you have a SL that gives accurate marks and quick feedback for adjustments. Such a fun match thanks to @FriendlyNikolai
I died like 6 times on the land bridge. the mortars were insane. Good call outs commander. I was also the guy in the bushmasters at 17:51 and 3:31. Next time im gonna shot your drone down!
I feel like this superfob could have been easily thwarted with a creeping barrage in coordination with armor and a heli deployment on the opposite side of the island.. Dudes just ran directly into the meat grinder thinking it would do something.. Lol.
This is one of your best videos, just total domination shown from the third person (the drone) is so entertaining! Sorta pissed me off that only two of your squadmates were listening to you but oh well xD
The guy on the .50 drove me crazy with his non-existent comms and lethargic response time. So often I play this game desperately hoping for a SL like this guy.
@@thefinal9923Even with ICO update it seems people refuse to work as a team and communicate. Then they all go and downvote the game in the reviews crying about how ICO sucks
I was watching this whole video thinking that Island Superfob looked familiar... then saw the scoreboard and remembered I was in that game lol. Hell of a superfob, GG
lol Moi posted this one too, I was there, this one was epic for sure! last 15 minutes was just spraying the land bridge couldn't've seen past mortars and smoke.
Every time I’ve done a super fob here we don’t defend enough from the eastern shore, and they use the lav to cross. Also I’ve seen the aussies put emplacements on the bridge far north of that island.
It was a close defeat but why was it a defeat at all? Too many folks getting killed elsewhere outside the FOB? This is fascinating from the aerial perspective. Thinking on how I'd tackle something like this, getting a combat engineer to approach on the bridge after smoking would've made fast work of the barbed wire there, have a truck nearby to resupply their C4. After that, start rushing soldiers in and try to just cement themselves into the FOB. I think I saw some counter-mortars, more of that might have also made quick work in conjunction with a UAV, especially if you wanted to cover the bridge with smoke for the combat engineer.
i would utilize more of arty and air assets. Call some smoke mortars and cover the whole bridge. Arty the shit out of their positions. Use Mraps to expand from ther onwards. In this case enemy wasnt organized at all
They didn't adjust suppression in the recent hotfix (6.0.1), only a 10% sway reduction across the board with tweaks to bipods. I would revisit pre-6.0 squad videos, because I think you've forgotten what old squad suppression and sway (or lack thereof) was like. You're probably just getting used to the changes.
@@Toothless150 yea vanilla squad had nothing ik haha, which is kinda my point, I feel 6.1 is just more flinch than blur. I just prefer the harder version 6.0 over 6.1
Bradleys that use their main cannon against T64 is just pure chaos. Bruh AND an armored attack through the city... Try your superfob in proper servers.
I think that developers went in wrong direction. New squad unfortunately have nothing to do with reality. There are some changes which I like like new explosion animation but there is also some of them which i hate. New PIP is to small specially when comparing to reality. Scope magnification should be at least 10 times. Putting scope to an eye should be much faster. In real life it takes no more that a second and I do not consider my self as a good shooter. Scope view shouldn't be disturbed when moving with the gun from side to side because normal when U look through the scope face is resting on rifle stock. That's why Your eye is not moving from the scope view. The same with the pistol... It never shouldn't be developed as a simulation of pistol movement from sign of sight . It should be always straight to the opponent. With new squad physics we have situation when player sprays whole magazine in front of the enemy and the enemy is not hit ... this is far from realistic especially when in normal life we can always aim down the barrel at close close distances -this feature is missing. Also it is not realistic that when You're lying down ... normally Your scope is not moving and it is even when You don't have bipod because You are resting your rifle on magazine. Those changes should be removed when developers wanted to call this game as a simulation but from my point of view developers wanted to give more chances to new players - so we should read it like more accessible to noobs which means more players = more money. Unfortunately this destroyed realism in this game and that's why players are angry.. because this is not the game they paid for.
