Dan, this Michael-Idaho-USA. I’ll be here tomorrow morning. The nursing staff start waking me 0530 so l hope to be on time. I do start my rehab chores early in the morning hours. Then my instruction classes start at 1015 runs until 1100. Then I hour of O.T. Then my happy lunch. Could be any thing. Breakfast in my past has been just cereal, now no sugar, scrambled egg double portion, sausage, two links or two Pattie’s, or one long bacon. Maybe a biscuit two types of juice, an the best part 8 oz. cup of green tea, plain! That is my gold for today!

Not going too much detail but 2012 I was a senior in high school made poor choices and tragedy struck the family. I fell into massive depression and an opiate addiction, anyways I’m 8 years clean never looked back and during covid I came across your videos! I now go out with my dog and friends and explore the beautiful land we have chasing that gold river rock! Thank you for all you do and you never know who you might inspire :) you gave me another amazing reason to continue. Bless you!

Dan, these extra video's with Tyler and Andy and Jason do a lot to add to your channel. I'm an engineer and love to see the whole operation from claiming, prospecting and full scale mining. I'm also a tree huger from way back so I enjoy the scenery as much as seeing the shiny

That was an epic gold find in Tyler's sluice. WOW! Dan, a tip for you. Use a stout pole when walking in mud because the stick acts as a *third leg* I cut a 2.5 metre walking pole out of a length of tough quarter-sawn oak, the bottom of the pole slightly wider for stability. So whenever faced with a large puddle on a narrow path, I dip it in the puddle and I get to walk through without doing a might pratfall. Mine has a notch hole about 30cm from the top for my thumb, and I whittled the top being to a nice comfy Y. 15 years old, my 'third leg' has served me well. 😊

Hey Dan. I suggest doing a pan from his tailings to see how much is being washed out. Those riffles in the mats look all bumped up in places. The gold is bring washed over to the side. If it's not laying flat, the riffles fill up in those spots and can't hold any more. Would be interesting to find out.
I love my Goldhog mats. I had them for 8 years and the only wear was on the gorilla tape on the edges. I change them every 2 years. I used the same mats in a highbanker situation and ran 3700 GPH, they love fast water!

This is the exact scale of operation I would love to own some day. I've got a sluice box and some pans and about 4 grams of gold, but hey, some day I'll get there! Great video Dan! :)

I am so envious seeing this. A couple of years ago I was trying to raise some money to buy Jim Gibson's South Fork placer mine near Likely, BC, but nobody was interested but they were prepared to put millions into hard rock underground gold mining in Australia. Of course, Trudeau's policies with Covid didn't help matters and even now I couldn't get into Canada because of the government Covid regulations. A great shame because I have some ideas for a location where I think there may be serious gold deposits which I think are largely unexplored. I shall probably never know because I am getting too old now, so I shall have to content myself with armchair prospecting with your videos. Looking forward to seeing part 2 of this video.
Hey James Tyler here. I am very familiar with the likely, very beautiful area. Both Dan and I will be close to that area next year with some equipment doing exploration. A lot of gold has been pulled out of that area!!!!
