Today, we're going on the most epic Malaysia street food tour in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. We start at the Central Market and try Putu Bambu. We then pass on by Kedai Kopi Lai Foong, famous beef noodles, before trying Popiah. Before heading to Jalan Petaling we go to Nam Heong to indulge in Hainanese Chicken Rice. In Chinatown, we eat delicious pork buns, Apam Balik, Baba Nonya pancake, red bean sauce noodles, Tau Foo Fah (Kim Soya Bean), Asam Laksa - Curry Laksa, and Machi (Madam Tang) and durian.

A few tips for the creator. The soup for Chicken rice is a soup. Not gravy to be mixed with the rice. The dips are dips. Not to be used as gravy. You don't use chopsticks to eat rice off a plate. Only off a bowl. For eating with plates, we use forks and spoons.

Thanks for the thoughtful response! Sometimes we make mistakes! 😂 I was actually the only one that ate the soup like that. Robyn and the girls had a couple of bowls. The broth was really incredible!

I see you are really enjoying the street food …. From the other RU-vidr (from western) they only know to take Malay food or Indian food…. Chinese food more choices and different variety…. You make the good choice….

You're suppose to eat the chicken rice with the thick dark soy sauce some chilli and some minced ginger. Those are not minced garlic though. The chicken goes well with the minced ginger or the chilli. Enjoy the soup separately though. You need to order the bean sprout dish too to have the full experience!😂😅👌

Soup is a soup, after you eat the chicken rice, you can drink the soup. It is not suppose to be poured onto the rice as it will make the rice soggy.

Chee cheong fun was never eaten with chillies. Just sweet sauce (red or brown), sesame seeds plus vegetable.

Do not use chopsticks to eat rice on plates. Chopsticks can be used with bowls. Use spoon and fork.
