Vegan Eggnog Options are a hot topic this time of year! Which one is worth is?
We went around to our local stores and found 16 different vegan eggnog alternatives for the holidays.
Of course we had to put them through our taste test and see which ones are best and it was a clear winner!

Elmhurst milks May not be as thick and creamy as others, but the ingredients are much cleaner. I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for. I do like the fact that it is clean, but I’m also a fan because it is made in WNY where I live!

Kudos to Andrew for not caving to the pressure to try the smoothie! I also drink maybe one glass of wine a year and do not like hard liquor. So why have someone rate something they don't consume or like? While you don't mention the ingredients, it would have been helpful to mention the ingredients for the top two winners. I was hoping for high marks for the Elmhurst, as I have an unopened carton in my pantry. I bought it because Elmhurst brand does not use gums, lecithins or oils in their milks. I have some Milkadamia Barista Blend in my pantry, which uses Locust Bean Gum, Sunflower Lecithin and Gellan Gum to make it creamier. I also use Califa's Barista Blend Oat Creamer, which uses sunflower oil for creaminess. So I wonder if the two oat milk egg nog winners had any added ingredients-oils, lecithins, or gums-to make them "creamy."

I think this video stands out to me on why I prefer taste tests to be done at the same time if multiples are trying the same product. I understand the reason of not using so many cups but when someone tries something first and another sees their reaction that could influence what they think it might taste like and judge it too soon or even not try it at all. Thank you for the top choices though. I have only tried the Chobani so far and I wasn't a fan. Now I will be trying others to see if I can find one that can replace Vanilla Spice Southern Comfort.

We don't have Sprouts where I live, so we can't get that. We probably can't get your second place nog either. I actually like the OG Silk Nog. I think Califia Farms changed their formula because I loved it the first couple of years they offered their nog, but last year I hated it. I also hated the Aldi nog. Another concern is when a product includes calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate dumps into your arteries and leads to arteriosclerosis.

The first vegan egg nog I found and the only one I have tried is the one from Sprouts so I am glad that was in your top tier choice. I like to add a sprinkle of nutmeg on top of it but it definitely has a good spice level already. I agree with Larisha that while it is good, I noticed an aftertaste as well.

I do like the Chobani one, but I really never cared for eggnog. So maybe I’m not missing it. I am curious about the nature one though. I guess that will be my mission these next few weeks, to try to find their oat nog in my hood. Calories though in that one 😳! Best - when silk nog was the only one to get, me and friends would look forward to when that came out during the holidays. Now there are so many! Oh and I don’t mind the almond ones like califia but I agree it’s watery.

We've been having the so delicious coconog. One year I bought a case of it so I could have it beyond the time they carry it. Problem is, we drank it faster, used it in oatmeal, coffee, pancakes...it is so fatttttt. As much as I seem to have an uncontrollable desire if nog is in my fridge, I would like something less cholesterolly, coconuty. There is a weird peripheral or late taste that nog with eggs has that i find missing - a kind of acidy thing, maybe, anyone know what I mean? I likely can not get the sprouts brand, though I'd like to taste them.

never cared for traditional egg nog b/c of the raw egg thing. So now . . . it's kind of a new experience. Also never had an oat milk that I liked. Just looked up Sprouts near me and there are 2 . . each about 24 miles in dif directions. Next time I'm in either area - I'll be sure to grab one to try. Thanks for the taste test. Entertaining . . . but I think you need to work on your 'poker face' b/c Andrew is influenced by your reaction. Or make him go first . . . . lol

Andrew looks tentative, so I fear spittings up . . . Spitting up stand-off, LOL! When still a vegetarian, I used to get an egg nog from a local dairy, and one year I suddenly felt all the egg yolk coating my tongue and thought, "This is gross!" But I do get a nostalgic hankerin' for the commercial egg nog my mom would get and doctor with rum extract and fresh nutmeg when I was growing up. I can't find your winners, so I'll make my own. I got some of the milkadamia nog at my local discount grocery. I had it with a sprinkle of nutmeg and enjoyed it. I've always liked Silk nog but cannot find it in my area. I'm so over coconut milk, yogurt and oil. I think it must be cheap to produce, it's everywhere! It's thin and so watery. Nope for me.

Make it Dairy Free fam, I love you all, but the audio to your videos is pretty all over the place. Sometimes it can blow out my headphones if I keep a level sound to hear you talk, so I often have to keep it lower than usual. If you can adjust the audio for future videos to reduce the parts that get too loud, I'd really appreciate it 🙏 Also, nog is really good, but I can't really justify buying more than one bottle as it's sooooo decadent. A little goes a long way.

i love you guys but what's the backstory on Andrews's aversion to Alcohol.....maybe it's none of the internet beeswax but is there some allegiy that he had to it? is there a lot of alcoholism in his past or something or a family history of that.... did he grow up in a particularly religious home that didn't allow it?
