It definitely looks like a hard read big brain play, but if you get into vgc more, youll start seeing how a lot of "predictions" are just people playing to an out. The 2016 world championship is a great example. Everyone thinks wolfey predicted thunder to swap in raichu, but wolfe never really considered thunder. Raichu switch was just hus highest win chance.
It's a fun trick, but Weedle is actually the one who came up with it unless they also thought of it independently. EDIT: Note the 'unless' part of the statement. They could have totally thought of it on their own. I just normally don't see people derive from what pokétubers do.

Well I've been trying to make it work too but prankster haze murkrow being ever present in the meta makes it hard to pull off. Works well with maushold with beat up since friend guard does protects you a bit and maushold gets double focus every first turn so you can Boomburst dudunsparce for free and protect maushold, then activate weakness policy on the next turn with beat up.

Wow, uh... you are much more patient and calm than I could be. You explicitly described the team as "no fun allowed" in the description, and you put the part where someone actually countered it with Feint in the video. I would've been rather upset at the whiplash from that surprise.
@@PrinceSilvermane Low BP, Normal type, does nothing if the opponent doesn't use Protect. In Doubles it's a decent move in theory, lifting Protect, which is terribly common, but it's not good enough to be used often.
For the first battle I was super confused why they didn't swap out on the last perish song count but that second battle made it click. Shadow Tag is truly evil >=]

I LOVE perish trap!! I've been trying to find a way to give the team a second mode so that in a best of 3 you can be a little bit less predictable but I haven't come up with a great idea in that regard
Love perish trap. It’s so troll and fun! Can’t wait for the paradox mons to be added to vgc cause Scream Tail is gonna be amazing in this playstyle given how bulky it is and it’s slightly faster than Gengar

Lovely proof of concept in the Scarlet violet meta. Will definitely be fine tuning this. One big weakness with a full perish trap team like this is ghost type pokemon just switching e.g. gholdengo annihilape etc as well as defensive ghost tera's on fighting weak mons. So some way of catching them off guard seems good. Previous gen's I had a eject button hitmontop with fake out and wide guard. As gengar is weak to earthquake. Still relevant given the prevalence of dondozo and garchomp commonly carrying it.

I was confused when you swapped out of gothitelle early, but then I saw that eject button. I love the idea of swapping early to get active an eject button and swap back in!
Another god-mind video. I'm kinda sad the endure Lycanrock didnt survive, endure should be able to counter perish song, so should sturdy imo. I'm not saying perish song is OP, but i feel like those should be a way to play around it other than switching.
Perish song into shadow tag Gothitelle is very mean and I appreciate it. As is switching Gothitelle out into something with eject button back into Gothitelle.
So I had this really similar idea of a team and I used Gothithelle Gholdengo and IGGLYBUFF (slower than torkoal in TR, Gothi got TR), but you executed it much better than me. You always deliver 😭😭😭
Mother of God, this is just villainous. 😂 It took me a second to realize that Gothitelle had Shadow Tag so they couldn’t escape. I also imagine Gengar’s mega evolution would be a backup plan. It’s disgusting.

I haven’t played a Pokémon game in years, and back in the older versions- well you know. Shadow Tag Mega Gengar. I’m guessing Terastylize replaced the mega evolution for the simulator for gens 9 and above
