I've done something like that before. I have a family member who's a big fan of clubs and fancy restaurants so we occasionally go there on special occasions. While the food tends to be good, it's just not filling. I often end up picking up some McD's on my way back home lol
I’m not rich either, but I’m lucky that I have some rich friends who sometimes invite me to expensive dinners. What those dinners at these high end hotels and restaurants have taught me is that the food just tastes decent. It’s not food that transcends dimensions like some people make it out to be online. And if I want to eat decent food why would I pay $100 for a serving when I could just grab a very decent serving of very tasty chicken & rice at the local bazaar for $3-4?

Nothing can beat the taste of chicken rendang in Indonesia and Malaysia. The most expensive price does not mean it is super good as the way of presentation and where it is being sold (the Ritz) make it expensive
Best chicken taste out there is in my own personal opinion the Nelson's Chicken. Only because it's well below my means. The other one is the ones Cubans make its so good.

You lot have no idea what your talking about , apart from being cooked by one of the best Classic Chefs in London , this dish is a classic poulet de Bresse , cooked in a pigs bladder , the bruising is actually sliced Summer truffles, and is poached in a wonderful flavoured stock , then it is served with a sauce richened with pate de foie gras , I’ve never had it …yet , but would give my wallet to be served this at the Ritz Hotel , Good for you Cumbria Foodie , ignore the comments they’re probably American most of whom do not understand what fine dinning is .

The chicken comes in 2 servings separately. You definitely leave totally full as it's part of a 10 course meal. The rest of the courses are on my other video.

@@cumbriafoodie2259I’ve cooked one at home and it was great . Amazing flavour and firm almost dense flesh . I don’t think the skin crisps up that well though . I braised mine but the skin seemed very thick . Not sure what it would be like roasted . Maybe next time …
Fine dining is just a joke for rich people to feel knowledgeable about food. We all know it's nothing special, it often tastes like shit and you leave with empty stomach.
