I’d say if you make a tough climb to get to something, I’m definitely going to go for the permanence of Krink. Other than that I just go out with refillable options.
2 main reasons to buy kink k60: try out its paint and the more important for me - it has the best body of all mops. It’s really hard to destroy while writing
I freaking lost my old youtube channel now having to find stuff i was subbed too. Im Dario Hall, that channel was around 15yrs old. Great video glad i remembered your name.
Well i like krink but ive only buy it when there was a promo here at a shop... but i have tp say that i have problems because i always lost krink markers i d9nt know what happens hahaha But to be honest is a nice formula, but in other hand ill say that if somebody wants tp buff ypur tag they will buff dosnt matter what... so i dont know if it worth the price... and if you are very active probably you will not have all the money to spend... But my final wprd is that theres a lot pf brands and kinds of products just xhoose what you want and be happy!
Exactly, its all personal preference. Myself, I agree with you that if someone is gonna try to buff it, it almost doesn't matter what you're using. I don't understand why that is such an important factor to so many people, but to each their own.
If you from Toronto buy from Toronto Collective. Support ya local graff shops. Dont buy from amazon. You can gain points get some decent discounts over time.
I personally only use bombingsci since they are the cheapest place I've found. But if I'm in Toronto again in future on a painting trip, I'll check them out for sure
Thanks awesome man! Newfoundland is one of only 3 provinces I haven't got up to yet. Will be glad to be back in Alberta when I have the time for a visit too!
I've always wondered about Krink products, i've only tried the markers and the silver is good, but the yellow really sucks. Maybe ill try the k60 someday. Also, if you could write GOON in a video that would be nice
For sure! Will get you on my hit off list. And yeah I have heard lots of good things about the krink silver so in another video I wanna explore that a bit as well.
The Grog doesn't mix right, all their colors have white base paint the pigments don't mix with. Same for the OTR. Both private-labeled made in China products. I should send you some of my stuff to check out.
Almost any paint is pretty easily buffed with the proper chemical. Krink stands up really well in all weather for a long time in my experience, but it'll definitely come off with a buff
I got a gold krink marker from amazon and it came in and it didnt write, but there was ink in there. I would take tip off and the other side had a lot of ink/paint but it just didnt let me write on the very tip
I have definitely seen far more product defects from Krink products than any other graff brands. Not fun to have that happen and definitely not cool considering Krink is supposed to be top notch stuff. That really sucks man. Sorry to hear it
@@Zgabitzuuu no I made better shit way cheaper than buying grog if I was gunna buy I'd probably get motolow ink but never tried it what's ur thoughts on it?
Yeah I have a video coming up involving the liquid chrome actually for that reason. Totally wasn't worth it for me to buy a refill of that crap for 30 bucks though, damn. That stuff is almost a dollar per ml! Crazy
@@ScizGraffiti man I got a few of those markers and 3 of them just will NOT mix well and ends up looking grey and not chrome at all!! Fucken ridiculous!!
Haha, I got a yellow krink k-60 when I first started tagging, ever since I’ve just bought empty mops with OTR ink. Definitely a lot cheaper and not nearly a big enough difference in quality to justify getting a krink. Rad video 🤘 would love to see you hit up BUFO in a future video!
dope little video an dlove your honesty, be cool if some brands sponsored you to test out products to save people spending out on products that aint all that. because when your young and spending $20 used to seem like a hell of alot of money as a kid
100% about the value vs cost some really want the best of the best “so called” but others can get sooo much more value from a full refill or multiple mops for the same price. And that is a great point to make seeing how YES we ALL want to save money on something that can potentially get us locked up! Great video! Sciz going hard with the real graffiti concept videos! Keep that shit up!!
Yeah well said man. The cost plays an even bigger role when people start really doing tags on a regular basis too and burning through a lot of paint. That's when you really have to look at how much you're spending I think
@@ScizGraffiti yes sir I burn one mop in one night and use other markers till I see a nice spot to use the Krink in hopes it won’t get buffed. Or hit Amazon for a 12 pack of mops and rack some Rust-o and thinner and go all night wit leftovers!!
Yo sciz is me hulk king dope one OGCW SE Gi the disabled graffiti legend artist thanks for support on my graffiti RU-vid channel and thank you for support of my disability as well 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Yeah that's always a great way to get at least a free mop body, even if you wanna change out the nib or put some other paint in it after it's used up. Much more economical. Good call!
They’re $13 a pop on Amazon rn bc their on sale. Lol Also use my Graff name in a vid if you want Spaz aka Spaz Tags. When I go tags lol or Spazoid when I do pieces lol
Acrylic paint from dollars stores or even cheaper from thrift stores.....bingo daubers...also dollar or thrift stores....felt...also dollar or thrift stores.....empty the ink from the bingo dauber.....fill dauber with acrylic paint....roll felt and fold it....shove in top of dauber....use whatever ink and paint and formula you want...try different shit....now go get up.
I’m new here. Gotta say I’m hooked. Gonna binge this review playlist and buy some markers afterwards. (I’m going for grog and on the run honestly but I want to expand my supplies.
Grog is a great choice for sure! Although I don't have a ton of reviews on the grog stuff, they are actually the ones I use regularly. Great mops, they've got. Glad you're liking the content man!
Krink k60s are my favorite mops the nib is very very strong and writes good plus you can refill it I have been using these mops for a couple years and only had 2 bad experiences with them speaking of that… the only bad times I’ve had with a krink 60 were when it exploded and yesterday I was taking off the cap and I accidentally took off the valve thank god there was no mess from that one 😅
Once in a while I'll cop a silver but definitely am more conservative on what I'd hit with it due to the price.krink silver is a classic that every writer should try atleast once.13 years ago you could buy silver and black refills came in dope glass bottles idk why they stopped making them..
Yeah I hear lots of good things about the krink silver for sure. And yeah, I have a feeling they sort of though they'd force people to spend more money on their mops if they didnt offer refills anymore. That way they could sell less formula which is expensive to make and still charge more for a mop that is cheap to manufacture with a bit of the formula in it. It's like in economics if you look at how demand and price changes when you introduce rationing lol. That is just my pessimistic way of looking at it though, I could be way off on that
I'm with you on that one. It's them just charging people for a mop and 60ml of paint when al they asked for was some paint for the price of paint without a mop lol. It's a smart rationing strategy to raise the profit margin, but doesn't look good on them, in my humble opinion.
Damn I’m spoiled living in nyc! I get my k60’s for $11 since I’m cool with the guys in the shops here, and I agree the value isn’t worth it even at that discount knowing grog mops are like 2-3 dollars cheaper and similar quality! But i have to admit I’m not big into drips and the silver krink is my favorite silver mop just cause it’s so bright even after months of rain it still shines where some other formulas just fade after a few weeks.
@@ScizGraffiti yea along with that durability because it doesn’t drip that much u can get a good 150 tags out of that bottle, and that includes doing those lil designs around a tag ppl like doing as for me i just write the letters of my name no fancy underline or arrows or halos and rings lol keep it legible
Yeah I was actually able to determine that their mops (or at least the k66 lids) come from a factory in Niagara Falls and so do the mops that Mighty Marker uses. So there's definitely nothing special about their mops but I think the paint itself has to have had some special engineering and development done to it cause it's definitely different than all the others I've used in the past
Yea, i agree with you, Krink k60 is really set to a unnecessary price, because today i bought one krink k60 but with a metal head that u have mentioned in one of your videos for 30 god damn bucks, which the good thing is its refillable, but i think the price is outrageous.
I had to stop watching this video. I see people all over media talking the same. Either up speak or voice breaking into a fragmented crackle. Is it just to sound trendy? Ps buy cheap empty mops and fill them spray paint!
This might be hard for you to believe, but that's just how a lot of people sound on camera microphones. Thanks for the positive reionforcment though and for staying on topic! lol :)
Honestly, it's so hard to recommend mops since in reality they are all so similarly made and are all generally well engineered. My person favourites are the Grog squeezers, mostly because I like the paint and the mini sizes of the mops, and cause they are a bit cheaper than molotow or krink or montana. The OTR mops are always reliable as well and slightly on the cheaper side. But I do know a lot of people swear by the Molotow mops and won't use anything else haha. I know that that is sort of a roundabout way to answer your question but it is hard to know without trying a couple of them out and seeing which kind you like. Once you find one, stick with it and just by refills and replacement nibs. Or make your own ink/ paint if you want! At least that is my opinion... hope it's a bit helpful at least
If U ever worried bout geting caught slapping or pasting. Just remember extinction rebellion gets away with it everyday . They're the biggest crew and are up everywhere. Now go out and cap em! . Coz it's likely they've already cap'd you.
They even have instructions online . Crews of 5 just for one bomb . Anyway I'm happy to have beef with XR . Purely based on the fact they're capping everyone . Fk that.
Honestly I love this marker but it’s not worth it. The ink is clean and nice but it’s short lasted and expensive. I could get good quality mops that are refillable for cheaper.
Idk if its only me but my grog mop ink really sucks, its not opaque and the drips are ugly... idk if you made a review so i can see if im just unlucky🤣
I actually just bought some grog ink to do a review for. I only have a full metal paint review ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dKEMgPmoCGo.html ) and a ruff stuff paint review ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9wfmLnrwo9A.html ) But I think the ink you're talking about isn't one yet. soon tho for sure!
Thank you so much! I am gonna be talking to art primo about a couple of things in the near future actually 🤫 So hopefully there will be some reviews of their stuff as well :)
I thought drips were cool when I first started graffiti but now I really don’t like drips they kinda make my letters hard to read it’s cool when it doesn’t mess up you tag
I'm in the same boat. Too many and it messes with the letter structure. So I've never really been a fan too much. Some people can control them really well and use them to their advantage but I prefer a nice crisp tag 👌
honestly id say that it stands up for the price but if youre a bomber youd probably prefer buying 3 grogs instead of one krink and, with me comparing it to apple i meant that it is pretty hit or miss, either very high quality or a total flop, and the price too. some products they made were really good, and some are absolute crap, and the ones that are really good are still way too expensive for non studio use
Nahh bro, u can't say Krink like that, they into the scene quite some time, for the stain buff, the quality, u can't compete with other brands except Garvey XT70, which it's more expensive than Krink, back in the old days, there's very few graffiti shop not like present, as taggers, I bet everyone want to keep their name as long as it can hold, if u used 5 years ago, I bet the tag still there. Try out for Garvey for the next video, 🤙🤙
I’ve used Molotow, Montana,, Grog…all of the mops. Grog is more watery than KRINK. KRINK is the most quality graff acrylic paint: i use the whole rainbow in every size for most of my 20x30, and 30x40 paintings. When mixed w an acrylic paint like Golden, Krink has a plasticy, shiny look. I love them all, steel tips drip the best:
Take a look at the buff test that bombingscience did with their mops. That was pretty telling. And also, out of all the comments, you're the only one to say it isn't a leader in permanence, so 🤷♂️
@@ScizGraffiti ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZZIfVWxIm0E.html You mean this video? 1. They didn't use what a buffer would use and still wiped it off. 2. And I'm the only one because ur viewer base is clueless kids. 3. They didn't even compare it to any of the leaders in permanence.
DIY inks and paints are ALWAYS going to be respectable, especially as these paint formulae phase out the good chemicals like xylene and all that. Nowadays the best formulae are the homemade ones for the most part I would say, in terms of permanence at least
