Cool build, it looks like a lot of thought went into it and he’s getting enjoyment from it. It’s funny I was against the lariat interior because of the colors but the more I see it… man it looks great. Has a real premium look. My favorite part of the build is the rack that works with the roll up cover and the swing out spare tire with the table. It’s at a perfect height.
I really like how he has the bed rack, yes you loose some of the height for loading stuff in the bed but it's still usable for loading stuff in when you need too using it everyday. Overall I really like the build, if it was me I'd get the XLT with the FX4, 4K Tow, & Co-Pilot 360 packages, then do a 2" lift on some 245/70/R17 all terrain tires as well with a very similar setup.
Sorry I missed this video a year ago. Lots of cool add-ons. I'm really enjoying my Lariat FX4 Atlas Blue, 4K. Ride the ditches and tight lines to the winches.

My morning commute used to suck. Then i remembered..."hey, i am travelling OVER LAND to get to work." All of a sudden everything that involved my car was an adventure. Now, i overland for coffee, groceries, and the entire time i am working as a dasher for my side hustle! My 94 geo metro is a total budget build with factory 13's amd a 7 gallon fuel tank. The great thing about a metro as you platform is that i can park at all the same mall spots the lifted jeeps and t4r's park in. Overlanding is awesome

A 2-inch lift and bigger tires really transforms the Maverick. Stock suspension looks weird on the road. If you see these out on the roads you know what I'm talking about. The roof is really low for the overall proportions of this vehicle and how it presents on the road. Spacer kits are very inexpensive and probably doable for the home garage mechanic. Tires are not inexpensive but that is pretty much the extent of cost on giving this trucklet a better look and off road capability. And payload and towing capacity are pretty impressive considering its FWD based architecture.
A majority of drivers tend to overthrottle slightly and then back off to adjust. The ecoboost motors will disproportionately open the throttle relative to the input when aggressive inputs are noticed to reduce turbo lag. Learn to feather the throttle and you'll get another 2-4 mpg on the highway.
Maverick's gas generator runs 100% of the time, there is no "all electric range" just off batteries, it's just that the ICE generator is carefully tuned to a single speed, for a bit better MPG. Locomotives have the same scheme, except their ICE generators are diesels powering electric motors.
In the first minutes of the video, owner states its a budget build amd the trucks can be bought for $20k. Very next sentnece mine was $40k. The term budget, left the chat at that point.
But it remains to be said, this is basically the only "truck" you can get that has AWD/4wd, crew cab, and a bed where the actual MSRP for that build is like 26k dollars, as I just built one out on the website, plus the fee's, so about 27.5k. The absolute base model with no upgrades is like 23k. The problem currently is that dealers are literally just blowing up the prices because they know these aren't available easily, so they are marking them up to just under trucks like the Ranger, Tacoma, exc.
Seriously looking for a larger wheel / tire package for my 2023 MAV Tremor. What impact did changing tire size do to the "gear hunting" at speed and grades? Just curious....I put 33s on a 2018 Jeep JL and the damn tihing would rarely stay in 8th gear - was always hunting between 6 and 8. Had the 3.6. Had the 3.45 axle ratio. It was seriously annoying
I paid $28k for an XLT with AWD, FX4, and 4K tow. The prices have gone up since then. There're dealers that will charge MSRP for orders. I had them give me a written agreement.
I'm disabled. I want to get one and put a camper on it and live in it part time in the mountains. Is that possible? I have 2 bum shoulders. I almost wonder if I should build out a hybrid van instead? P.S. Can you wash the dirt out of the engine if it's electric? Would you have to vacuum it instead? Cool build.
People need to stop using strob lights. People that have epileptic seizures or any kind of seizures can't handle. Seeing flashing lights Strobe lights should be Against the law to use even for emergency vehicles.
20k? Lol. Not for this purpose lol. I mean don't get me wrong plenty of people go adventuring in two-wheel drive cars all the time but 20K you're getting a bare-bones hybrid two-wheel drive ford escape with a bed.

The first thing I saw when sitting inside was the dome lights... My 2022 Ecoboost lariat has no interior lights working. The Ford shop is backed up and I've RU-vidd, searched online for what fuse to look at annnnnnd nothing! So can anyone here help me?
