@@OldFashionedAF you are so smart. I can’t wait to show this to my husband. He doesn’t have a standard (if that’s EVEN a real thing in the garment industry what’s up with all the sizing irregularities lol...anyway) size so to speak. I just ordered him pants, and dress shirt, that we are heading to a tailor to customize. He has always worn shirts that balloon on him, because of his neck size, but then he has a smaller torso and waste. Sometimes after say going to the restroom he gets all bajangled up, looks like he stuffed some extra laundry in his pants, ahhh! I should explain. My husband has CP, and gratefully, it only affects his legs. He’s able to use forearm crutches to walk, and the side effect, is he has strong traps, biceps, and Lats. Think Johnny Bravo, the inverted triangle upper body. Rowr 😉 ahem. So in men’s shirts, if the neck is huge, the entire shirt assumes the rest of you is huge! But I was watching a really old episode of The Makeup Guy, and his mom is a stylist, she recommended exactly what you are here. Get it tailored, there’s no reason to be anything less than confident in your attire. But the REAL impact was she used a great example. Ok, since everyone sees you in this video I’m going to use your figure as the example. Let’s say that you bought a dress, or better yet, a long bathing suit cover up. It’s black, and it’s sized to accommodate your highest measurement, your bust. You throw it on at dusk to take a stroll along the shoreline. What will your silhouette be? This: 💃 or 🚪? Get that dress tailored so you can look 💃🏽💃🏼💃🏻💃 and not ⬛️🔷🟥🚪

I really like this channel. I am a large lady and I always find that vlogs are directed to people who are stick thin. I always feel that there is little point in using make up or nice clothes because of my weight but this channel has shown me that I should spend time on myself and that I am worth it, despite my weight.

I've been hunting for more places to shop than collectif so was thrilled to come across this! I'm in north east Florida so it's only cold enough for winter clothes for 2 months max. Instead of buying winter stuff I use my fall and spring wardrobe and add a slip, camisole, teddy, or even a nightgown underneath. Petticoats are great too. And instead of a big bulky coat or a fashionable one that offers little warmth, when I'm outdoors for long periods in the cold I'll use a knit wrap on top (over the shoulders, across the torso and tuck in the back of your skirt for hands free) and a fleece or knit blanket wrapped around my waist and tucked in the skirt. Much more flexible than a thick winter outfit and thus more comfortable. Plus way way cheaper than buying separate things for such a short period.

I dress vintage all the time (sz 14) and it is nice to see more vintage style unboxings. Your choices are very nice. For anyone who wants to know, many of these fashions were intended to be worn with girdles or waist cinchers; hence the emphasis on the waist. I ended up getting a cincher made of canvas and dance boning and it is comfortable and gives the historic 50's hourglass. Anyhow, a person does not NEED to do this, but it took me years to figure out how to achieve that look.

I’m brand new here, it’s Lawrence’s fault really, I wanted your Hot Buttered Rum mix recipe, so I got that from your blog, and then I came back to watch some videos. Anyway, I like the pieces you selected, that blue dress really shows off your hour glass figure, and I’m obsessed with the whole vintage blouse, the sleeves, the bow, I have the perfect vintage style shoes to pair with it. I have never ordered their sweaters before, but I did order 4 of their dresses in $25 sale. I was not impressed with the quality, everything was too oversized (yes I know my measurements) and felt they all looked frumpy on my body. 🥲 so I had to take in everything-thank god I know how to 🪡 🧵 sew😝

From one curvy gal to another... first of all those clothes were beautiful.... second... look at eshakti... they have some vintage styles but you can get them custom cut to fit your body... it's pretty amazing to have clothes that fit just right. I'm not paid for this... I just like clothes that fit my crumb catchers.

I absolutely love that navy blue dress especially out of all of them, on you. I personally think that silhouette looks good on all people whatever their size or shape or age etc!! Do you know offhand if that store sells any smaller sizes too? I know of other places if they don’t. I just like that this online store seems to be true to size with measurements.
