@@nomnomjenny Hello🙂Jenny.. 💘 Don’t do it……. 🚫🙅🏻♂️ Remember, you were instructed NOT to do it!! 😂 I “would do it”, but I don’t have access to Taskmaster. What I am doing is continuously watching your shorts though! 🩳🤣 Time to get ready for work now…. love your comedy, have a fantastic evening, Jenny!! 🥳🇺🇸💚💚💚🇦🇺🥳
Ironically, playing with the fidget toys would have most likely focused your attention forwards, and discouraged you from turning around, so playing with the toys was the optimal strategy
In the actual show, Will realises that they’re all things that turn around (like the one on the right being pulled in a circle) and that one of them was a “turn”ip, so the toys were clues in themselves
No, the optimal strategy was to do nothing. She figured it out right from the start but didn‘t classify ”turning around“ as something. I know that this is semantics, but playing with the toys would have been one of the correct choices but it would have been lightyears away from the best or even a good strategy.
@@aaronbulmahn7715 there are a lot of things that the brain doesn't recognize as "something" so some of your idle behavior could ruin the game for you, what you are suggesting is absolute control and awareness of your entire body for the entire time and one of the effective strategy to achieve that is to engage in a task so your brain will focus into the task and reduce redundant movement Not to mention this is a mind game so how far ahead did the game think and how far ahead did you think will determine the outcome, if the game understand you enough to know that you will come to the conclusion "the optimal strategy was to do nothing" and make "do it = standing/sitting idle for more than 10s", you will be screwed People statistically assume that the participant will try to think at least 1 or 2 layers ahead when they are aware it's a mind game so they will trap the one that think a little more, which mean doing the most obvious thing in the most obvious way is one of the top strategies here if we are considering probability
It's the sort of task whereby after the VT Greg would do a mocking impression of Alex giggling at the deviousness stemming from the discrepancy in the information available to the contestants and to the Taskmaster's assistant.
@@Ed19601 this task isn't representative of the show. it's the show poking fun at itself because the tasks are all silly and nonsensical. this is like a self-parody of that.
You are literally the only reason because of whom I got recommended so many shorts of Taskmaster AU and eventually I watched the second season and season 9 of Taskmaster UK. While they are quite funny you are still the funniest out of all of them.
This short, is brilliant. You're interested in the premise, but then the arc around the jacket, makes you know the wit of the people involved. Freaking telling a story, in this bit of time, but not using much of the base material. Efficient as all get out. Then it starts and you go "nice jacket". Reused the start to frame the finish and land an even harder line. Brilliant.
Yeah for me I would either leave the room to not do anything associated with the room , or last to leave the room. Either way would have me turning back anyways.
Did you know Alex is the boss? It was his idea for the show, And to have Greg be the host. So if Alex thought it would be funny, he'd make Greg make him eat it. 😂 What a beautiful concept
Just saying, if doing nothing was the "do it" action, then the whistle would have blown already. Anyways, love this season of taskmaster Australia. Was so funny and yet so many ways that the comedians thought outside the square. Just like Jennys item that would make the the crowd go "ooooooooo" 😊😊😊
I'm convinced I would ace taskmaster every time. In this instance, I would get comfortable in that house, live there for several days before I even try doing anything in that room.
Alex’s deadpan fly on the wall character will never not be the best form of the assistant in this show. This contestant is having so much chit chat with him
The people complaining about this task… Clearly haven’t seen Wil and Anne’s attempts. Wil’s was brilliant because he just kept talking, and I won’t spoil what happened in Anne’s attempt for those who haven’t seen it.
It would be interesting to bring in a highly intelligent person to that show. I wonder if they could figure out the challenge much faster/easier/better.
I'd be paranoid of doing anything. Any movement or speech, I'd just sit there. Even if he told me something, I'd just stand there and be quiet because I don't know what "it" is.
Jenny is single headedly driving most of the traffic to this show. I mean I think it is a good show from British ones I have seen, but I only noticed Australian Taskmaster etc because of Jenny
