Romero hc actually has the same spread as the big romaro. However it loses its tight spread with the hatchet I found this out many patches ago but I've not heard any changes
@@n1njafish894 he means the handcannon varient has the same spread as the 3 slot romero but the handcannon hatchet has a wider spread than the other varients

I fell in love with the Romero Hatchet some months ago. This weapon saved my hunter ass a dozen times. There's something lovely when you rock a cheap out-of-meta-weapon and it actually helps you through the Bayou

Hey Hornet what shotgun should I be choosing when I go that route? I’ve been getting a lot of rounds where shotgun takes 3 shots to kill instead of two even when in the same room as the enemy, it’s gotten to where I don’t play shotgun anymore cuz my pistols actually let me kill faster at close range
as long as you always hit center mass all of the shotguns become very viable however i know its easy to miss by just a little u can always just boost the shotgun damage and range with slugs too!
One very important tip, pellet spread is way tighter than crosshair says on every other shotgun than short lemat so be sure to always align the very center of your crosshair with the target. Crosshair overlays or a tiny speck of wipe away wet marker on your screen can help with that.
I don't think a handcannon really shines unless its paired with a Winfield or Officer Carbine. That suppressing fire makes it really easy to consistently and safely move within that small one tap range. Trying to close that distance between the effective range of a rifle to miniature shotgun is awkward and gets you killed too often.

@@timothymorgan8254 hello! I was a shitty player when started hunt, but after a year training can do some shots like hornet. Its all muscle memory, personally i recommend aimlab spider. Do it for 30 mins everyday and you'll get better. Gl!
@@timothymorgan8254 They may look like that but if he had some software you would see that in the way his aiming behaves. His movement looks natural and his aiming doesnt look magnetic at all. Pretty sure thats just his personal, his given and over the years trained skill.

Yep pretty much. Instant sprint to jump gives you a sprint speed jump, without making a sprinting footstep sound. Then crouch just before you land so that the game doesn't make you do a standing footfall nose. It sounds way more complicated to execute than in practice, it's actually quite easy to do, especially once you've done it a few times.
@@hornetlul Wtf I've never used it because it says 140 up close so I just assumed it was pointless or that you needed to headshot with it to achieve 1hit kill. Maybe time to start using quartermaster now lol.
@@LundinSebastian Shotguns are weird. The damage number is some approximation of how much damage it does at, like, 10 meters if 80% of the pellets hit. That's why the damage number is so low for the handcannons.
yes, if you see it as soon as they die, their t2 lunar perk was deactivated and they can be revived without having lost a bar, if they have resilience, to 150hp. the white sparkle on DC happens regardless of pact I think.
i have the romero handcannon memoryholed as having such HORRIBLE accuracy and range that i never use it, but when i see other ppl use it im always surprised by how well it performs then i try a handcannon like the spectre or terminus and cry cause i cant kill things lolol
Honestly for me they work fine, you generally just have to be closer to the enemy.......Unless you are Hornet and you through that logic out the window because supreme accuracy. Personally I learned their value though quick play. I used to be "they suck because only half as accurate", but actually they are pretty nice for the package.
4:58 - 5:15 could anyone please explain how he does these jumps with literally 0 sound, i've been in practice for about 1 hour now, and i never got a jump where i landed silently.
@@hornetlul Yeah that part i got, but when i land it still makes noise, is there any type of technique you have? like crouch jumping or something similar?
@@Adrian-bj1rkno problem but there is no technique u just gotta jump and not move until the cooldown is refreshed if you wanan repeat u will always make noise when u land but u dont have to make a footstep noise by moving after landing
If i could change stuff in this game it would be: 1) How quick you can turn/ change directions. Having some dude dance around in the open to dodge bullets is just dumb. 2) Nerf Lightfoot... or simply have jumps use tons of stamina... People just hop around like they're bugs bunny... Hornet just shows how broken these mechanics can be if you exploit them^^
