In the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series there was a villain, NOS 4 A2, that was killed by his own monster, he had just survived bam explosion and was missing an arm. Then he got tossed off a cliff, impaled through the chest below, and then he blew up. I feel that was a gruesome way to go
