As a certified Sukuna stan; I always expected, hoped, he would win, but to kill Gojo in this way... I suppose there were allusions, hints, things that just didn't add up otherwise. Sukuna had too much in his pocket to go out without trying any of them, Gojo's premature 'Hero's Death' would have fit the story perfectly, etc. Yet the cold stoic departure from last chapter's jubilance, Gojo's supposed victory, to his un-ceremonial death, it's tragic and leaves a sour taste in your mouth, it feels cheap and undeserved and makes you angry - and it's perfect. I risk garnering the hate of Gojo fans by saying this, but; Gojo's death shouldn't be bittersweet, his presence was just too large for it to be anything but pure, black licorice, bitter. It's only appropriate that in a series chalk full of unremarkable deaths - Nanami, Mechamaru, Yaga, (possibly Nobara?) Gege hammering that point home with a no-more-eventful death of the Honoured One leaves us baffled, mad, and feeling betrayed, and I think that's intentional. Though Gojo genuinely beating Sukuna would have been quite the subversion of expectations, and would have satisfied many readers, alternatively this result leaves almost no one satisfied, not even Sukuna fans, eagerly awaiting, and praying for comeuppance, and I think that's a beautiful way to transition the hopes and prayers of the cast and the story at large, back unto the 'main' character, allowing the rest of our beloved band of merry misfits to grow into the gaping wound left by the Honoured One. And Honoured he was, even doubting himself secretly, even loathed by the Author, even in the mind of his rival, he truly was respected as the Honoured One. Perhaps last chapter's break was intentional, Gege just wanted to give Gojo fans a bit more time to be happy, a benevolent cruelty, knowing what would come next.

funny how Gege not knowing how to kill Gojo created a bigger plot hole than Gojo itself, Sukuna can now just kill everyone in one shot.

This fight ending really made me appreciate sukuna and gojo love hate dynamic.They were trash talking each other during the whole fight but sukuna glazed gojo after defeating him and gojo glazed sukuna after being defeated.Theh really are the strongest.

There’s still plenty of things we don’t know about Sukuna and his abilities and it’s seems to be that Sukuna mainly used Mahoraga to figure out how he could adjust his Cursed Energy properties so that he could “cut the world” with Cleave/Dismantle. This implies that Sukuna knew all along that it actually cutting through infinity with his cleave/dismantle was a possibility, but that only issue was how he could adjust his Cursed Energy and abilties to achieve that result, especially in a timely manner as without Mahoraga, it probably would’ve taken a lot of tries and attempts to figure it out, probably to the point that it would take too long to figure out and would just be wasteful, so Mahoraga ended up cutting down that time by adapting to Infinity, and since Sukuna knows the intricacies of how Mahoraga’s adaptation works, such as altering Cursed Energy, he used that tidbit of information and details as a means of using Mahoraga as a “role model” to study off of, figure out the right adjustments, and then apply them to his own cleave/dismantle once he saw Mahoraga cut off Gojo’s arm that one time

R.I.P Gojo, its whatever though, Sukuna beat the fraud allegations, and the Gojo fans got taken down a peg. But now its time, lightning and thunder shall shake the sky as Kashimo finally gets the fight he’s waited 400 years for. Kashimo Goons UNITE!

Gege fooled us, this was never the battle of the strongest. No battle of the strongest ends in an underwhelming way like that. It would have been better for Gojo to have fallen down the stairs and die.

The fight from the beginning was the biggest gamble sukuna has done. From the start he knew gojou was a man that was him. He played the safe route and utilized mahoraga to its fullest extent and copied the blue print on how to get passed Gojou’s infinity. Gojou obviously wins if sukuna didn’t have 10 shadows technique but gojou himself was to broken. Mahoraga had to be the counter to gojou.

Regardless of the outcome, the one thing I'm actually sick of are the "Yuta scared" memes. That panel of him hurts so much, he's not scared he's feeling the highest level of sadness. He loved Gojo and he never wanted this outcome to happen, he was desperate to go help him out and was forced to sit down and watch. That's a wet loaf no matter how you slice it.

I don’t see how sukuna goes down anymore, now domain expansion can’t get around cleave/dismantles. We also know it’s unreactable because gojo was not able to doge it from mahoraga who would be slower(when it sliced off his arm) and Sukuna in the latest chapter. So he now has an undogdeable, unreactable one shot attack. Especially when you consider it can’t be seen when he’s about to use it. We can say that gojo’s reverse curse technique was unable to heal back the damage it caused, and that his rct would not have mattered if sukuna went for the head, stopping him from being able to regenerate. Considering he still has curse techniques we don’t understand (like his previous era form’s cover art suggesting lightning abilities), and ”◼️” open, the fact that he will be able to make a totality out of mahoraga, getting the ability of adaptation back (which we have seen the potential of) along with all the other powers of the shikigami including the healing from dear, the max elephant water, the charging bull that gains more energy the longer it charges, this also along with his one shot fire arrow taking out a special grade cursed spirit in one use that was a fire users also (the literal disaster curse of volcanoes) which would give him resistance to such an ability. then pile on top his near infinite supply of cursed energy along with the gift he was given to replace the power of his finger I. think this will end up in a Madara situation unless he takes out a plot convenience

Sukuna needed an example to "copy" Mahoraga. Since when Gojos arm was cut off was the only time Sukuna would have been able to see Mahoraga use dismantle as an example, that means that Mahoraga must have had already adapted in the "proper" way by then.

Gege hypes up Gojo so much in the series, only to make him achieve virtually nothing. Hidden inventory, he failed to save Riko and loses Geto. JJK 0, he kills Geto. Shibuya, he killed hanami and no dif'd fodder transfigured humans then gets sealed... Culling games, he gets unsealed then gets off-screened. He didn't even get to save megumi (who was basically his son). He didn't revenge for yuji (his other son). Instead, after a tonne of chapter battles, he ends it by glazing sukuna, achieving nothing and getting off-screened :)) Yay.

Alright Yuji it’s now or never your shining horse is gone and Kashimo most likely will fall as well after a great fight or course no one else can save Megumi besides our boy just know we will get Yuji vs Sukuna now

Not "plot convenience" because bypassing Infinity doesn't have to be with a technique by itself, it can just be with a domain expansion. Infinity isn't absolute.

First of all, Kashimo is gonna lose, because why would he win?? Narratively that would be stupid. Second, Sukuna will always be a fraud because of how the fight went. There's no possible way to say that he would have won otherwise since he so heavily relied on 10 Shadows. Even with Gojo contemplating in the afterlife, there's still no way to say. So Gojo's outright technique is stronger but Sukuna's power and versatility won the battle. As well as plot

I've said it before and it was made pretty evident during the fight that Sukuna was superior in multiple categories with the only thing that ever really made things close being infinity and the six eyes, sukuna has an absolute fuck ton of cursed energy AND is heavily implied, and stated to a certain degree, to have comparable cursed energy efficiency to the six eyes both of which he just has normally on top of all the experience that he has being 1000 years old and existing in the heian era as the top dog. I think Sukuna knows that if he was careless that he could've genuinely lost to Gojo but his confidence was always different than Gojo's. He knew that he would eventually win the fight the only question was how long would it have taken. I think if you go back and read the fight you can definitely see Sukuna holding back, he never went out swinging and giving it his all, it always felt like he was just using enough to keep himself alive in the fight until he had the guaranteed win

3:30 this isn't correct. Mahoraga showed how to adjust cleave to target space itself instead of just targeting Gojo only in order to bypass infinity. Sukuna's cursed technique wasn't buffed, Mahoraga just revealed a more creative way of applying it. Gojo probably said he did not think he could beat Sukuna even without 10s because he probably realised Sukuna may have eventually figured out this application of cleave with or without Mahoraga. Most importantly, recall that Mahoraga performed this cleave move when Sukuna told the shikigami to step it up and that it was his shadow and not Megumi's, Mahoraga's response was pretty much a "this is what I'd do if I were you" thing.

Let me explain what happened and how sukuna bypass gojo infinite mah adapt make him adapt in ways to counter if your using defense CT it adapt to counter that defense if it attacks CT his body gain more defense to that attack then it will do no damage if it like poison it gain immune at first mah adapt in a way where sukuna could not copy his anti infinite attack so when mah adapt again sukuna could learn it slicing space it self to kill gojo mah adapt in ways to counter infinite so sukuna learn it, the thing is gojo did win in strongest sukuna use mah as a role model to copy and win without mah adapt it a new story and reason why sukuna didn't use other CT is because it won't effect this is why gojo say he didn't use everything on him if gojo never use infinite then sukuna will use his CT he didn't since he had to find a counter to his limitless if not no attack would work on gojo no matter what gojo felt was a feeling where sukuna never use every thing he knows on him he do know nothing effect him with limitless but he didn't felt sukuna went all out with his CT that the story

So maho first adapted to inf but in a way that only neutralized it, later he adapts to it in way that can be used as offence i.e uses to cut gojos arm off in chp234 now my point is that ability should have been hardlocked to maharoga only but the fact that sukuna can pull it off bcos he is sukuna is just kinda weird it fits for him but still kinda disappointing, then gojo's claim as "The Strongest" was never true i.e the thing that his character is known for was just pure ugandan copium.
