This is why I am happy with how EXO members have decided to choose to live their lives. They understood early on that they cannot make their life about Kpop or they'll simply end up with nothing and no one in the end. They added quality to their lives and encouraged their fans to do the same. They have PhD degrees in a variety of subjects, gathered several skills, invested in real estates and spread their finances over several assets that have now given them a steady financial income even without money from performing and selling albums. There is a reason their group does so well even after 9 years today and seems so carefree and chill. You can't really give your all to something if that's the only meaningful thing in your life. They even encourage their fans to live the exact same way asking them to not buy albums and instead invest their money in self-growth. They constantly say that if you want to be our fans, you will grow and be successful yourselves because fans who only stan a group as the center of their lives are simply toxic. The whole dynamics of EXO and Exols is beautiful and God bless them. 🙏🏼💕

The thing that makes Hara's Insta Live after Sulli's untimely passing that always hit me was that when Hara started crying people in the live chat started trying to comfort her and tell her to not be sad. Hara then tried to reassure fans she was fine and just wanted to have some time to say goodbye to her dear friend with fans as she was in Japan at the time. Hara really didn't want anyone to worry about her that was just the kind of person she was. A selfless and kind young woman who nobody in the industry had anything bad to say about her when she was alive and after her passing. One that's sad for me was seeing Ahin from Momoland having to record a video on Instagram to reassure fans she was a strong person and that they needn't worry about her becuese Anti Fans were bombarding her with hate comments and insulting the group as talentless. Of course, seeing Ahin stand up to Antis and Malicious commenters was one of the reasons I became a fan of Momoland.

Sulli was, with Amber, my f(x) bias. She was also beautiful and talented, with a golden heart that won my admiration and made me think she was one of the kindest idols. Both were hurt by hate and bad words and, because of some of us, they left a lot of fans heartbroken. And they were best friends... another reason why I liked them so much. I hope that they found each other in the afterlife and I really hope they are still friends there... Just STOP HATING IDOLS! Harming people is the most horrible thing. Do you think that they feel bad? Wont't you feel the same if you are bullied? They have a heart, a mind, a life, that they want to be safe. We should learn from past experiences... What non-fans fail to learn is Jonghyun has been very vocal about his seasonal depression which he developed over the years as he entered the industry as a teenager.Jonghyun' s feelings always reflected in his music and he always said the words to people who suffering would want to hear. He really just wanted to feel like a human, and accept all his emotions without being engulfed by them. He also did seek help , from friends, family, professionals as well as fans. It hurts more because this loss felt personal, a battle that most fans thought they lost. I have avoided this topic for over years now , i hope many people try to look up more about him and understand him for the person he is.
