For me 1 Ivory King 2 Gael 3 Artorias 4 Nameless King 5 Morgott 6 Loretta and maybe Sieglinde from Ds1

I would add Ludwig and…Rom. Yes, Rom, vacuous spider. She is Atlas of Bloodborne, as she tried to keep world safe from blood moon ritual. Also Sir Alonne, because he helped weak king with his service and trained his knights, who still respect him as they protect him, and after witnessing corruption of his king, he left him Lorian Elder Prince is also a hero, as he killed Demon Prince who could restore Chaos Flame and protected his younger brother and shared a curse with him. Also Lady Tomoe from Sekiro, because obvious reasons.

Sir Alonne and Fume Knight. Also Burnt Ivory King has the best intro scene in the entire souls series rivaled may with Nameless King. The way the gate rises above and he starts sprinting towards you like he has a score to settle. Pretty much the same with Nameless King in his second phase when he starts walking towards you menacingly. I wish they hadn't made the rest of the game so hard and frustrating.

Great video, but personally, I think Miquella would have fit in the list. First, he's an extremely powerful demi-god, a master magician (he invented multiple powerful golden order funtamentalist incantations) and a talented craftsman (he created works of art such as Malenia's prosthesis, the pulley crossbow, which is the most powerful crossbow in the game btw, the Golden Epitaph, and the unalloyed gold needles that are so powerful that they can ward off Outer Gods' meddling, and even cure it, and also). He's even revered as another deity, St.Trina, who controls potent sleep magic capable of charming even bosses. But most importantly, he is kind of the embodiment of kindness and benevolence in my opinion, but it seems like in the DLC we'll learn about a darker side of his character... But yeah in the meantime he's like the most compelling character in all of Elden Ring (apart from Alexander and Boc, obviously). Even then, out of all the shardbearers, Miquella and Malenia are the ones with the best intentions and actions : Godrick hunts and grafts people in a pointless search for power, Morgott clings to a dying order of racist enslavers, Rennala is... Rennala, Ranni literally caused the end of the world, and Mogh is a disgusting freak. So in comparison, even if Miquella is kind of shady, or if he uses peole or whatever, I think I'd still root for him since he offers a safe haven to all those rejected and forsaken by the Golden Order, and strives to find a cure to his twin sister's condition and also bring peace to his older brother Godwin (the golden epitaph reads : "Oh Brother, Lord Brother, please die a true death")... And even as St.Trina, he brings respite and peaceful dreams to the suffering and the tormented, even quelling the nightmares brought by the flame of frenzy (but I think that's cut content). Not to mention he is probably the one who helps us the most during our adventure : I believe he is Torrent's former master, and as such, he's the one who told Melina to give us the spectral ring whistle (that he created, since it's made out of unalloyed gold, and is also the work of a great craftsman), and he's also the one who sent Ranni to give us the spirit calling bell (evidenced by the fact that Miquella has a strong connection to spirits, since he's Torrent former master, and also by by the fact that when Ranni appears in the church of Elleh, Kalé and his dokey are put to sleep with St.Trina's magic, who is quasi-confirmed to be Miquella's alter-ego). Anyway I can't wait for the DLC and sorry for the long post. :)

I mean he's that good of a king a literal shard of manus deeply falls in love with him and mourns his passing, keeping his legacy alive and protecting the world from the old chaos. All the other shards succeeded in overtaking and destroyed their kingdom and kings, alsanna did the exact opposite. Best and most tragic couple in souls, wish they got reunited in the end

I loved him in DS3. At first I was just like 'oh he's like the ds 1 guy he's just gonna sit around and muse about how to get past something while I actually go and do it.' But then he sprang into action to actually help me fight a demon and from there he had my attention.

He left his ring on his father's coffin as farewell. If Gwyn exiled him: 1) why wouldn't NK give it to him directly as a statement? 2) Why would Gwyn already have a coffin when he wasn't planning to go away yet?

@@nayd5043 doesn't do anything heroic? My brother in christ, alexander helped thousands of players on radahn and fire giant. Its not that alexander wants to be stronger, he wants to be a GREAT WARRIOR. Getting strong is just one of the paths of being a warrior. Thats why he wants to fight with you at the end of his quest.

@@wiselyx that doesn't define heroism tho, Killing Radahn is not heroic, everyone in the festival only cared about the glory and honor of fighting him, it's only Jerren who actually cared to end his general's pain and initiated the festival. + Alexander's main goal is selfish by wanting to prove his self-value and glory of a warrior, compared to the other characters whose main goal is selflessness and altruism, Alexander is indeed kind, honorable and a true warrior, but he is certainly doesn't define heroism compared to most characters of Elden Ring. If Alexander was truly heroic he would have used his strength not for glory but to protect his kin in Jar-Burg but no what he only wanted was to die like a warrior.

i agree with Siegward tho, cause what he truly wanted was to fulfill his promise to his bestfriend and to end Yhorm's painful legacy.

@@Zero-zr6xx thats not the definition of a hero. The definition of hero is brave/courageous and Alexander fits that description. Doesnt matter if his goal is selfish. He is a hero through and through.

Gwyn was actually the top villain of the other video and I totally agree with it. Mass murder, genocide, enslavement, brainwashing, child abuse, abuse of power, cursing an entire race and then exploiting them, being evil is just a hobby for Gwyn.

Another weird thing is that people overlook Gwyn as a father figure. I mean, it is stated in game that he shared part of his power with his children and that Filianore was his beloved daughter and she hoped that he will return. People assume that Godfrey loved Morgott even though he also left him because of affection shown in cutscene. Nameless King also showed a respect as a final farewell, meaning while he did disagree with his father, he did not hate him. I am not saying that he is good father, I am just saying he is better than many people think he is

@@laurencevicar5798 Gwyn forced Gwyndolin to live as a daughter because he was born to the moonlight rather than sunlight. Also pretty sure it was Gwyn who banished the nameless king for siding with the dragons. He abandoned Filianore at the end of the world to contain the pygmies, such that people didn't even seem to know she existed

@@Bob-jh6xt we still don't know much about Artorias as a person tho. He belonged to the god race and so was dependent on fire just like Gwyn himself and both had interest in subduing the dark. So saying that he secretly didn't approve of Gwyn's actions while working under his rule is kinda silly. Btw I'm not trying to make Artorias dirty or anything

Gwyn wasn't inherently evil but his actions are epitome are "some of the worst acts are done with the best of intentions". And that's the cardinal sin pride. That makes Gwyn a villain comprehensively. He didn't try to understand the wider picture and let the natural cycle continue. He had his run.

As much as I want to include Bloodborne and Demon's Souls I don't have a Playstation. Gotta wait until it's on Pc.
