HopCat, keep in mind and amiibo is made up of sliders for each move. Sliders move down whenever a move is punished or considered unsuccessful. There are 4 ways to move sliders up (which makes them use those moves more often). When they kill you, you kill them, they hit you, or you hit them (in that order of effectiveness). Taunting, too much jumping, and some character's random recovery can be very difficult to "break the habit" because it is hard to determine what is a "successful" jump, taunt, etc. Usually it will be faster to start over if they form any of those habits. Oh, and just a fun fact: Ice climbers Popo doesn't acknowledge Nana's existence in the game, so they are the worst amiibo due to offstage shenanigans.
