ik this video is old but i have a good idea for honey gather. Honey collection includrd but has a secondary battle effect where any hands/punching move cause a speed drop due to the honey gathering on their hands getting stuck onto the opponent
I saw a suggestion on r/Stunfisk for Honey Gather that lets the user hold Honey as a healing item in some way. It was either a one time super high heal or a better leftovers
Imagine in a scenario where the new Klutz would be unaffected by Neutralizin Gas. It'd be so funny using Klutz and Weezing on your team in doubles and just making your oponent play Gen 1
This would be ridiculously broken, but I think illuminate should lower the opponent’s accuracy when you switch in, unless they’re wearing the black glasses
A rework for honey gather i can think of is "if you use a contant move on a grass-type pokemon, you heal a small amount of hp" something like the pokemone collecting pollen from his foe
Here's something I want to add to your rework to Plus and Minus. I would make it so if a Pokemon with Plus and another Pokemon with Minus are both in battle, instead of just boosting special attack, it will activate a special variation of electric terrain that I dub, "magnet terrain" which grants priority to electric and steel moves (I included steel with klinklang in mind) as well as increase the likelihood of additional effects from said electric and steel moves (like paralysis for moves that have a chance to cause paralysis, special attack boost for charge beam, special defense drop for flash cannon, etc)
11:38 "his recovery is still pretty bad" he has a better recovery than aegis, cloud, kazuya, minmin, wolf, and many others you also forgot to mention his upB's got 14,4% armor on frames 4-15 too so gimping him as he recovers isn't easy as most aerials don't do 14% specially if stalled
After 2 years i looked at the comments again and have seen 1 vital flaw in his defense. If he didnt attack with empoleon surf to damage his qwilfish, he wouldve survived the 5+ atk snorlax on about 10%. This wouldve been the play of the entire tournament
Honey gather could boost bug/grass type moves by 20% while also having a built in leftovers for the user. This might sound broken at first but considering how mostly bug/grass types would get this ability it wouldn't matter that much cuz of how frail they are. Edit: imagine this on quiver dance ribombee tho💀
