One thing to note is Luigi is the easier character to crouchboost and vector because of his slightly higher jumps and floatiness, while Toad is the hardest because of his gimp jumps and stickiness.
Vectoring: Use A Fourty-Five Degrees angle. Crouch Boosting: Use crouching as soon you hit the floor. If you hold crouch too long then you do long jump. If you press crouch too early, then You’ll do a ground pound. Vectoring 2: Long Jump right and hold up-right, your Speed keeps gaining when you move a 45 degree angle.
This is great to share! I never got around to speedrunning tricks in 3DWBF so nice way to teach those who do. Aaaaand looks like SM64 has competition when it comes to building up speed. Heck your video reminded me of Pannekoek's videos about which is the fastest maneuver showing a 4-split screen.

It's so cool just how much speed you can get by doing these tricks! You did a great job explaining the tricks and how to do them, and it's kind of mind-blowing that a course that took Toad, the fastest character, almost 100 seconds to do, only took Luigi 11 seconds normally or 5 seconds on ice. Also, I need one of those super cannons so that I don't have to walk anywhere.

Since the time in Mario games is Fast and then real life time I put on a stopwatch to see how fast it really is. For the first ice crouching glitch it was 7 seconds and 49 milliseconds. for the second one it was 4 seconds and 67 milliseconds. For the last one it was 3 seconds and 83 milliseconds

I create care of vectoring course. Mario is trying to figure out which is the correct button. Speed run do absolutely nothing for Luigi. But I thought it tried to find the correct button. My last mod is ZxMany finding 100=percent full mod. At 5-4 it is related to someone else. THANK: we watched ZxMany a good comment. We also got a few of a pieces. Mayro got an amazing item from ZxMany hard mode boss fight. There is quite a few changes to the character that view. Super Mario odyssey created mod for ZxMany, Return the orange yoshi at ZxMany’s comment. ZxMany Jacob the orange yoshi, comes to tilt rotated for my screen. We bailed out yoshi from fluttering. How do they work from bowser. Bowser wants his army to get some quality. Luigi’s speed, courage. We needed to update our Nintendo.
I still don't understand how the programmers managed to mess that up. Either it's a huge oversight, or the programmers knowingly programmed in those glitches.
Crouching while moving makes you slide forward a little before usually losing all your speed. However, canceling it with a jump, or being on ice, cancels the speed loss. Also you neutral jump (instead of long jumping) out of a roll if you release Z before jumping, implying that the game doesn't specifically check if you're rolling to trigger a roll jump like it does in Odyssey, just if you're pressing Z. You can draw parallels to nut jumping in Odyssey, where multiple intended mechanics interact in a less-than-intended way, except unlike Odyssey (which had four patches, one of which was just adding a Korean localization), this game didn't receive a *single* patch in the Wii U version and only received one very minor patch in the Switch version.
