I'm back at it again. The wait for 2025 is gonna suck, isn't it? I genuinely have no idea what this dude's buddy is gonna be, and we'll likely have to wait until new regional forms, evolutions, or Mega Evolutions are announced for Pokémon Legends Z-A, so. It's gonna be a while.

3:53 My first ever shiny hunt WAS EXACLY THAT, but I actually got it! Oh, that makes me nostalgic! I had gotten shinys before just randomly in games prior, I think my first shiny was spheal in ruby, but I never hunted them before tyrunt! But this story is bittersweet, I traded away many shinys in x and y hoping to comeplete the pokedex with shinys without hunting them myself. Most of the shinys I got back were hacked! That was my most hated decision that I've ever made! Now here I am with 910/1025 unique species shiny that I hunted! I'm going for that shiny living pokedex myself. No outside help this time!

I’ve never had the time to watch the buddy runs as I usually like to watch your videos when playing Pokémon but after the promise of lore I NEED to check it out asap Also can I just say with the little bit of info you dropped about Kid Soto it sounds so COOL!!! The idea of combining dinosaurs with the Wild West has so much potential and it painted such an interesting picture in my head. I’d absolutely adore to hear more about that series and it’s own lore, hopefully not if but when you get the chance to publish it :DDD

Was replaying x and resetting my amaura for nature. (to use it for my playthrough) on the very first reset i looked at its stats and i nearly jumped out of my chair realizing not ONLY was it shiny but it ALSO had the EXACT -Spd +Spa nature i was resetting for in the first place!

I've elected to do my own buddy run, with the shiny son of Sticky, a shiny Goodra I got as a birthday present from a friend, and another random shiny. I pulled this vid up without looking at the runtime to hunt... rip. Congratz on litle Soto though!

Hey as someone who’s watched the buddy’s runs and I do like them, I would like to recommend all of those sections you make for splitting up the video as an “episode”. It’ll allow you to have more uploads and as someone who wants you all to succeed, it will help with getting the channel out there and more people would be able to enjoy the series (3hrs is a bit much 😅) who knows it might be adopted by other people showcasing their buddies. It’s just my advice you don’t have to take it but I hope you consider it. Love your videos and hope to see more

I think that would probably get them more views - but I like the idea of them being big movie events. I know some people like long videos to have in the background to do stuff to or to sleep too. I think because they’re typically one time a year, I’ll keep as big event videos. But I for sure want to branch out and do more regular episodic stuff like badge quests or other challenges for sure.

Thanks! I painted them specifically for the buddy run series! I can't wait to see what new pokemon are announced for ZA so I can paint the next set of them. I want to try to keep it a tradition going forward.

It took about a week of full effort, but you honestly don’t need all 30 for a box. 6 would work fine.

I played through Y until the part where you get the fossil, then I gave it to a Pokémon, traded it to my X, then reset Y and did it all over again. Rinse a repeat 30 times and you get a whole box of fossils. It takes about an hour and a half for every fossil

Unpopular opinion but I don’t think we should get many, if any new megas for Pokémon that aren’t like crucial to the story. It simply wouldn’t make sense for a whole type of mega stone to just be missing or have been lost to time and not have been mention in any form of media

Lore wise that makes sense, but I do hope a few gen 6 staples get megas. It’s weird that in the gen that introduced them, the Gen 3 starters got megas but not 6. And aerodactyl got on but not gen 6’s fossils. Ideal world for me, only gen 6 Pokémon get new megas in this game, and only important ones like the starters, fossils, and maybe the box legends
