Fanta Red Cream Soda!! Damn!! That was my favorite as a kid. Can is probably 40-50 years old? Doesn't mean it has been in the water that long. Dammit man!! That's a catch!

The disc with the hub looks like part of a Reeds drive, possibly from a riding mower. The handle looking thing with the rubber boot looks like a shifter, maybe also from a rider. Hmmm, the thing that ate your hook... might be a riding mower.

Soon it will be Ice Fishing time for you. Those are fun to watch as well. Spinner with hook in your finger, heck of a way to find it. Most silverware is electroplated to prevent rust, that is why they look so fresh. Found handlebars, not to find the rest of the bike. Little bit of vinegar an those spinners will clean right up. Man, with all the lures, you won't have to buy any for your winter fishing. NICE Magnet, pulling out 2 scooters out at the same time. OUCH, lost the hook and rope. Perils of the job.

The disc thing looks like the drive gear to a snow blower. And the fanta can is going for $10 on ebay. Cash money bro. Also it first came out in the 1970's.

9:15 Great can, the painted style looks like it is from the 1950-60's. I did a search and found that the Fanta company emerged on the german market in 1940 as a substitute to Coca Cola, it was a trade embargo against Germany, up to the WW2 ended in 1945 and then got reunited with cola. Fanta did not become widely available in the United States until the 1960's because the company feared it would undermine the strong market position of their flagship cola. So yeah, 1960's unless it is a imported one. Elderberries is one of the main ingredient in it. It was used as a food sweetener flavor under the WW2 becourse lack of sugar. The yellow Fanta of today was first made in 1955. Best case scenario regard the age of the Fanta can it could have been a german or american spy that fled from Germany early on and brought it with them to the US in 1941 and had it until their kid stole it and did dink it on a fishing trip.. then you have a real old one.. not so likely perhaps :) Perhaps it is german text on the early ones?.. it may have been some minor design changes trough the years that shows the age.

@@st4rQuit.DontAsk If you dont have a phone to write on but a pc and are used to write alot then it is easy, it takes a few minutes. A mechanical keyboard with cherry mc blue switches helps, it is the best to write on. If also a gamer then brown cherry mx switches is the best one, it does not have a tactile feedback like the blue but works the same elsewise :)

Well, I think they put the cheapest hook on that lure knowing that it’s going to rot before you know it and you’re going to go and purchase a new one if there is a better hook on that lower it wouldn’t look or break up that way so you can take off that hook off that lore and apply a good one was crazy glue or something there’s going to be away if the lure is in good condition Okey-dokey buddy old pal🍺🍺👍🏼🍀

Take a 2ft piece of 2" metal pipe let it slide down the rope to knock the claw free tie a thin piece of rope to pipe so it can be pulled back. Or if it's close to shore take a 10ft piece of pvc fish the rope thru it and push claw to release. Good luck brother ✌🤙

You can make lots of hooks/claws free out of the scrap re-bar that you find.

The grappling hook basically just clips on so swim for it brother. I guess you could try getting it from your kayak but I kind of doubt that would work, so you're back to swimming or making friends with one of the scuba diver channels and letting them swim for your lost gear.. Might make for an interesting video so we can see what things trap magnets and such.
