The Atacama Desert is so special that you can see hot springs. If you can make tea there, the tea will be delicious! That village must be the smallest I have ever seen, and the number of some families may even exceed the population of that village! Those pink flamingos are so beautiful, but a pity they are so rare! I’m curious as to why people in the tour group don’t want to go to that natural pool. It’s so beautiful and they should go there! Those starry sky photos were stunning, that shooting star was amazing, and the memories of that night must be priceless! Chile’s terrain is rich and unique, and it feels like there are endless views! Thanks a lot for sharing, super great job! 👍🥰🙌
An incredible video Chris and Carol, loved the geysers, the pools you swam in, the lagoons and salt flats, also the photos of the stars were fantastic, all the south american countries are beautiful. Thanks again you two,you do a fantasic job of showing us beautiful planet earth. ❤
Thank you for showing us the beauty and the magic of South America. The star gazing was beyond spectacular. You two bring lots of joy into my mornings. You two are beautiful people.
@@JumpingPlaces lets see you do South Africa ,mate cape town , safari etc did you do all the english speaking carribbean islands , i know you did jamaica but did you go all over jamaica yet to see you guys do trinidad ,tobago ,grenada ,st vincent ,st kitts, antiguga ,tobago ,barbados
Don't miss southern Chile, district of lakes is very very different of north of country. Pucon a Puerto Varas are the best places for that Have a nice trip guys
The north and center of Chile are beautiful, but you should visit and get to know the Chilean south; Chiloé Island and the entire Austral Route. It will be an unforgettable trip. Greetings
Yes i didnt even know it meant old man in the US, in the UK geezer just means a man but it isn't really used in many regions. Seems like in iceland where the word comes from it is actually pronounced gay-ser
I remember visiting those geysers early in the morning as well. It was so cold, so like you did, we warmed ourselves at the steam from the geysers. I've only been to 3 geyser fields so far. Yellowstone is still the most impressive but the ones in Atacama were pretty good. Yellowstone doesn't have flamingos, though. When you visit Santiago, make sure to visit the Italian district. It's the prettiest section of town. Their downtown sadly has too much graffiti vandalism. The night sky photography you took was beautiful.
Hope to visit yellowstone one day :D We already did our trip of santiago and think we missed the italian district. We were in the downtown area and indeed it did look a bit run down, reminded us of downtown rio. Video coming soon at the weekend :D
This was an incredible vlog , things you don’t come across really often so I’m grateful for this! I’m always interested seeing discovering visiting new places! I see what you mean with the Geysers it’s huge in comparison to Hverir but you don’t get the permanent flaw that Geyser area of Iceland has I mean Strokkur is relentless and amazing 🎉❤! That warm river 💙 with waterfalls to massage back and shoulders was a top discovery for me I think I could quite happily spend my entire day chilling out there not moving… 🧘♀️😎 Star gazing looked incredible I esp like the shooting stars in your pictures what a cool thing to do it never even crossed my mind to do that🧐👌🏼 Thanks again Sabrina
Me encantó la foto con las estrellas y nuestra galaxia de fondo con el cielo más limpio del mundo.De hecho los grandes telescopios del mundo están en la zona norte de Chile. Saludos amigos y disfruten su estadía en Chile.
Thank you for sharing your fascinating experiences in Bolivia and Chile. Your star gazing photos at the end were breathtaking. FYI the world's largest geyser area is Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.😍
Bolivia and Chile shine with colors, the fauna is varied-rabbits,pink flamingos, fuming geysers,,You warmed up well in the desert! At such a low temperature the hands get really cold and hurt.Thank you so much for sharing your travel experiences!😊
We have done the reverse from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni. It was just incredible, mind blowing, the best experience on our 3 month South America trip. I think Bolivia is far underrated. The 3 day four wheel drive trip cost 200 US$ /person including accommodation (Salt Hotels) and all food. It is nice to relive the trip with your beautiful video. Well done. But actually experience the natural beauty is just the best lifetime experience ever.
Wow, awesome stars! That's what I wa hoping to see, very cool. West Texas is pretty awesome too, but like you said, the Atacama Desert may be the best in the world.
In the Uk geezer just means a man although it's not said very often in most regions. From my understanding it's originally a word from iceland and they pronounce it more like gay-sir, different to both british and american pronunciations

The differences between payment systems is because there are public administration places and other private ones that ask for reservations. Greetings, and thank you for registering San Pedro.
Hello geezers😉Lovin all your Bolivia/ Chile videos...those countries have gone straight to the top of my list of places to visit! I just wonder if it's always this cold, I'd rather go when its a bit warmer!
You stated in your video that you were unsure where the largest geyser field was in the world. Yellowstone National Park in the US has the most geysers in the world.
@@JumpingPlaces you would enjoy it. Also go to Grand Tetons, which is next to Yellowstone in Jackson, Wyoming. Really good ski resorts there if you snow ski. Thank you for the work you two put into these videos. I will likely never make it to the remote places of Chile and Bolivia, so thank you.
That is extremely extremely rare, there are plenty of other normal things like simply crossing a road or driving which are more likely to result in an accident or death
That place is very high on our list, the landscapes there look out of this world. It also seems to have the main 2 things that we enjoy the most, beaches and mountains right next to each other 😍
WOW WOW!! What beautiful images of the nighttime stars. I love the images of you and Carol together. Stunning like you said, Chris. I miss seeing the Milky Way, billions and billions of stars. I live in Houston, TX so I don't get to see very many stars at night. To much light at night. Thank you both for the beautiful images. Have fun in the Captial!
We didn't think so, we read reviews of people saying it was bad though so we were surprised that it seemed ok really. Maybe they have worked on the roads not sure
Nice scenery! I do know where you can see scenery like that. There’s a few lake in Utah that look similar and are high elevation Yuba Lake, Paiute Lake to name a couple.
Without a doubt one of the best videos you’ve made ! Really special to see the stars and love the images of you guys in silhouette with the stars in the background! Thanks for sharing and allowing us to share parts of your travels!
The reason to go early in the morning to visit El Tatio geysers is because they are more powerful when temperatures are low, as soon as the sun raises their intensity falls
