and the worst part is that picking the axe is not that big of a difference, i picked the sword too with an improved cleave + sweeping strikes spec and i went smooth

I remember leveling as arms and picking the sword because I was new and didn't know slower 2handers were better, and also thought "well I'm human so sword is good, look how slow the axe is ill barely get hits in" But the plus side was when I was tanking in arms spec, the multi hit proc from sword specialization works with 1handers

I believe on human the sword was actually the correct choice... I haven't seen any proper math on that but it sounds about right ngl

the main thought of "slower speed better" is the biggest min-max damage better, because of yellow strikes which are not correlating with the speed + to it -> the early patches before "weapon strikes normalisation" (you can google what is it if you never heard).

slower is better for solo play, because parry-haste has a bigger impact, but your own hit stat is calculated to average out over all weapon speeds

The ax is much better but honestly if you aren't going to pvp while leveling who the hell cares. Its hardcore challenge so I do not see any incentive against goofing around you do not even want to level fast really that will ruin it.

With axe spec it’s an extra %5 crit, if he was an orc then it’s an extra +5 axe spec. The sword talent in arms is crap so it’s more like %30 worse for undead and %50 percent worse for orc. So yea he’s a fucking dumbass for choosing sword as sword specialization is terrible

He obviously just choose the sword for the lolz and also he’s 37 so he’ll replace it in a few levels. Most people do this quest at lvl 31 which makes it insane for the next 9 lvls but will get replaced around 40. Guzu won’t make it to 60

So let me get this Straight, he respecced so he could 2H his upcoming axe weapons, now he doubles down and picks a sword s he has to respecc once more, which is probably gonna cost 5g, how does he expect to have enough gold for mount when he reaches 40, i mean not to say that was an unexpected turn of events, because it was, im just baffled at the logic behind all of this....

those charms have a somewhat terrible drop rate, thankfully they're not BOP and can be found on the AH...if this wasn't a Hardcore run you could grab some from there
