It is a first year model, 2014 81k miles, clean title, $125k msrp purchased off market private party for less than $30k will be listing for sale $36-38k after driving it for 6 months or so.

The thing still remain is this thing is like near impossible to find under 30k. I’ve only seen once in my area that went for 25k with clean report and 5 in total nationwide so if you’re looking to find one fast and easy, this isn’t it

We bought a 2015 one 3 years ago for 48k € with 48000km. Even had 2 years warranty. Great car, we use the massage seats all the time.

I'm not sure where this guy is but on the East coast a 2014 "base model" with no monitors or backseat package and the black leather is around 40k on the low end (but then again he did say 80k miles on it) great video.. Real quick, have you gone to the wrong car yet when you guys are together? Lol

The reason it's weird to me is because with the growth stocks as the nasdaq is rising the past two weeks they're not really rising if anything they are declining

They're both great brands. But Lexus is definitely more reliable. I own a ls460 and a e63 amg. The Benz is an amazing car but my Lexus is a way better cruiser. Tho the Lexus head unit is pretty outdated

I don't agree with you, I have 2015 S550 now 1 owner with 40k miles already had a few small issues which cost me 4k to fix. Wait till this hits 100k and these cars require a lot of maintenance and nothing is cheap and easy to do. Even though I can work on my car my self some stuff on these requires special tools and star diagnostic tool to work on.

Tbh depends on what type of car ur buying. A used Lexus/Toyota (etc) with over 100k would still prob cost you a small margin compared to a European car with 30-50k miles so yea

Everybody saying Lexus are more reliable but nobody knows how much they charge for labor and parts. I took my 2010 IS250 to the dealership yesterday for oil change and replacing the spark plugs and they asked for almost $800 for spark plugs lol I didn’t do it and ended up paying $183 for oil change only lol I pay $121 for oil change in my 2015 M3 at the dealership. S class is the most popular luxury car ever built. And it can be as reliable as Lexus as long as you keep your scheduled maintenance.

That's what I've heard from several MB owners. I bought a new one (cheaper model) 6 mos. ago and got them to extend the warranty to 5 years.

@@eddielewis7526 yea no doubt and I’m not saying they’re not but what I am saying is that if you don’t have a warranty you’re going to be screwed with the costs of maintenance. The only way they’re reliable cars is you have to take care of them and in order to do that you have to have the maintenance plan and warranty. Seeing as though these two in the video are 7 and 5 years old the warranty is probably out or close to it. And these particular models are very high end for Mercedes . Nothing is cheap on these models.

You can't compare a non luxury to a luxury. That's like me trying to compare the e class Mercedes to the 7 series bmw. Two very different vehicles with different ways to take care of them. When comparing the integrity and durability of the parts and the way the vehicle is assembled, Mercedes is far more reliable than BMW. I have an Audi A8L and audi is more reliable than both. And better in all areas (luxury, performance, asthetics, etc.)

8-12k? Come on, let‘s not fool ourselves. The S-Class is a car for multi millionaires, not some 10%er who is earning 6 figures a year. This is the car Angela Merkel and other top German politicians get driven it. The question that comes with buying a S-Class is can I afford a chauffeur and do I earn more money while sitting in it than driving myself costs.

Actually luxury with more of a focus on performance compared to Mercedes where Mercedes those particular models is geared towards luxury only. Oh and BMW are as reliable as Mercedes. No comparison, I would choose and S class 10/10 times over any A7 or A8 Audi models, I owned a supercharged A7 for months. The S class is better in every way imaginable.

Don’t be silly dude! If you can afford a Tesla then by all mean get the Tesla! These are not good cars as far as the older models goes. Especially if you don’t get an extended warranty. The maintenance is what’s going to kill you! Everything is super expensive on that car!

@@DeadlyEditss yea like you said NEW Mercedes! These aren’t new. They’re 5 and 7 years old. Either way you don’t buy a high end car like the S class without a warranty on those cars. Again maintenance and any little thing that breaks is expensive. Yes they’re reliable cars as far as engine and transmission but the electronics and etc the small things is what’s going to go out and break that’s gone run you. Trust me I had one and learned the lesson.

Insurance on that is NOT cheap! It is still a luxury car that is still worth 30k. Insurance companies will need to pay out a lot to fix it, so the rates would be high

80k miles on a Mercedes IS A LOT of miles though... the car might have only cost 30k but you will be spending 100k in repairs and maintenance costs.....
