Hello rail maniacs! Im Maty, a young guy who loves traveling on trains and admiring the passing landscape.
Today I will be travelling in possibly the best seat in Europe! ÖBB Raijet, together with ČD Railjet connects Prague with Vienna and there is no better way to try this out than in business class. This was probably my best train experience, bcs I'm not used to travel in this kind of luxury! :)

Hi Maty thank you for sharing your video, I am coming from Los Angeles to Prague in December 22 and taking the train to Bratislava your video convinced me to take the train rather than flying that way i see the country side. Keep up the good work.

Railjet's business class certainly offers a great seat but the most luxurious train seat in Europe is Treintalia's executive class on the frecce rosse. It's beyond imagination. Just check it out.

@@railroaming I like more the business class of öbb, because as a group/family of 4 Persons you have more privacy, than in the Treintalia's executive class on the frecce rosse

I've been on both Railjets - CD and ÖBB, but only in 2nd class. They're both the same in 2nd, 1st and Business I can't say anything about. I've taken the czech Railjet from Dresden(Germany) to Prague and back, the ÖBB Railjet from Munich to Salzburg and back or from Salzburg to Innsbruck/Bregenz and back.

I've been travelling more than 35k km with railjets across Europe for work this year but only in economy so far. What do you guys think, is first class is worth it? People/wc/seating? My main problem is lack of back support, the space is fine even on the economy class which is nice, I am around 190 cm. Sometimes it very crowded and hard to reserve a good place even 1 week before my travels. The toilets sometimes run out of "supplies" or one is broken out of the two which is inconvenient. Otherwise I love this train.

Perfect video, thanks for the information, however when i tried to buy ticket from OBB App, i couldnt see the seat numbers, if i choose business class, how do i know which seat is mine? Thank you so much

If only SNCF ordered NEW CORAIL II coaches and offered this level of service, they would get more passengers. That's why open access is good for Europe. France needs to wake up!

I honestly don't find it that amazing. Why do I have to share the space with other people? Why not make them all in one row for better privacy? Also legs space doesn't look so comfy and you could touch the other person in front. And finally you only get one drink in Businness class? On Trenitalia you get a snack and drink at every stop from First Class!

Hello, yeah of course Trenitalia is another level, but for Czech standards this is still amazing. Agree with you on that space, if is it full, it can get awkward I guess. There however single seats as well. Check google for some pics.
