What I most appreciate about this review is that you actually get the camera inside the jacket and show what it looks like up close. So many reviews (and even product pages) just have a few exterior shots and nothing else, and when you get it there's always something that surprises you because the pictures hardly show anything.

- Light, but adequate protection (as told by a third RU-vidr already) - Antimicrobial! - Comes in different colours - Only €175 I think I have a choice for my first proper HEMA jacket.

If I may ask, could you do a Witcher whirl vid where you adapt it for one handed use? If that's possible, idk if you only specialize in longsword, but I thought it would be cool to try the whirl with something like an arming sword or sabre.

What's the apron being worn underneath? That looks much more comfortable than the plastic ones.

Anyone have recommendations on the best place to get medieval clothing (1150-1335AD) for men (English), women (Iberian) and children that also doesn't look out of place in the modern world? I was thinking that footwear like the following could suit (whilst not necessarily being perfect) Men: Sandals, Espadrilles, Ropes Sandals, Empire Sandals, Leather Thongs, Menorcan Sandals, Gladiator Sandals, Clogs, Monk Strap, Moccasins, Woven Sandals, Suede Loafer, Chukka Boots, Chelsea boots, Plimsolls, Cuban Heel Chelsea Boots, Chukka Desert Boot, Driving Shoes, Women: Strappy Tie-up Sandals, Knotted Suede Toe Post Sandal, Cross Strap flat sandals, Raffia double strap slide sandals, woven leather tie leg sandal, Mules, Clogs, Over the Knee Boots, Ballet Flats, Lace Up Knee High Boots, Stirrup Boots, Slouch Boot, Desert Lace Up Shoes, Cuban heel western Chelsea boot with buckle detail. Adam, another question about your sword. Is it possible to make your type XVa sword of the path with black leather on the grip instead of the brownish color? Also, is this sword suitable for cutting? I’m surprised that all you need are an under-apron and the 350N jacket. I would’ve initially guessed that longsword sparring would require an 800N jacket as bare minimum.
