Prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft with this highlight reel of Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback, CJ Stroud. He showcased impressive arm strength, precise accuracy, and dynamic playmaking abilities during his 2022 season!
@tonymedina922 treat him well my boy, I really do hope CJ does well in Houston and has an Elite career with y'all. Your team is building up around him! 💯✊🏾✊🏾
Dude is a beast. I never really watched any film on him before until now. His footwork and accuracy is on another level. He’s definable going to be playing on Sundays for a long time. It just sucks that these top 10 picks have to go to the worst teams but I understand it’s to make them better obviously. Can’t wait to see how he does I’m rooting for the kid.
Don't worry, he goes to Carolina I guarantee you Frank Reich and his staff will have success (Playoffs) within 1-2 years. Book it CJ is a future star! 💯💙🖤💙🖤
@tonymedina922 yeah but my sentiment doesn't change I still believe in CJ and will be following him with the Texans. I believe y'all got a star, and I hope he has a Superstar career in the NFL 💯✊🏾✊🏾
When you look at the staff, our offensive staff all coached rookie QBs Slowik- Lance and Purdy, veteran Garrapolo Shane Day- Justin Herbert and veteran Garrapolo Bill Lazor- Justin Fields Jerrod Johnson is a veteran teacher- Kirk Cousins DeNarius McGhee- Davis Mills That staff was intentionally created for CJ. All are teachers of rookie QBs. This is a great staff that all came from different teams and cultures. Jerrod Johnson and DeNarius McGhee are both former record setting QBs that were very mobile. Can help CJ tap into a lot of that potential he displayed against Georgia. Jerrod Johnson was CJs Elite 11 coach in High School, where CJ beat out Young for starting QB and won Elite 11 MVP SFs offense uses a lot of presnap motion. This motion had both Jimmy G and Purdy top 5 in EPA CJ with presnap motion in 2022: 98-137 (70%) 1,233yds 17TDs-1INT 135.7 Passer Rating
Born a pro. If you e following this Man you know…crazy accurate, nice frame, more athletic and shifty then you think, elite field vision and anticipation. Carolina got ‘em one. Book it
#1 Pick for sure. Carolina, please don't over think this one. From his confidence, awareness and mobility in the pocket, ball placement, vision, and how the ball comes out of his hands, he makes it look easy (which it is not). This exactly what you want from your QB.
As a Michigan fan I think Stroud could be one of the 1st Ohio State QB's to ever pan out in the NFL. Justin Fields has a chance to as well but it's still too early to tell. If I had the 1st overall pick I would seriously consider taking Stroud over Young
I will say he won’t have that much time to go through his progressions in the NFL but I feel like he has what it takes to be QB1 for a franchise. These guys need to sit and develop their transition into the league like they used to do back in the day. There is too much pressure on these kids to have to go in and start playing day 1.
God, I do hope we get Stroud, but for the right price. Stroud and JT would be such a nasty combo. I'm just not willing to give up our 2024 1st. The 2nd yes, but not the 1st.
He almost single-handedly beat Georgia via throwing and running. Unfortunately, Football is a team sport that requires one or more of other to step up, too.
You sound stupid. The consensus has nothing to do with who is better. Just because everyone doesn’t agree has nothing to do with his ability on the field! How about you use your own eyes to determine who is better! Young is not the consensus number one pick either! Actually neither QB is consider the best player in the draft! SMH
The bears can't ret a qb they gonna get some other position and if Texans were fist pick they decently getting bryce if colts were umber 1 they getting cj Me personaly bryce>cj
Better in what way?? If anything no one is better than the other. And if that’s the case then you take CJ because of size. Bryce is built like a 7th grader who hasn’t hit puberty yet lol.
young has bust written all over him... Like sure he has great arm talent, has great mobility and pocket presence, but that size is gonna limit his play in the nfl and cause more and more injuries the more he gets hit. Stroud is 6'3 207, has great arm talent and accuracy and has decent mobility... Takin Stroud all day
@Lasher 6160 cuz he's mobile but not too much like Kaepernick and pretty big , he's about the same size as Kaepernick. He can take contact like Josh Allen or again Kaepernick but he reminds me of Kaepernick cuz he looks more mobile then Josh Allen is.
@@kaligarcia6047I kinda see that. I definitely don’t think he takes contact like Allen, no qb has been able to take and dish out contact like that since Cam. Kaepernick was much more of a willing runner than CJ, not up until the Georgia game did he seem as open to using his legs to carve up a defense as those two guys you mentioned. I definitely agree with the slower than Kap but faster than Allen.
