The most powerful units for an Adepta Sororitas army change for 1000 points compared to 2000 points. If you are playing casually or competitive or tournament 40k there is advice for using the Sisters of Battle units in your battles. For the Seraphim: If you have the combat patrol ones you can buy a Seraphim box to use the flamers from that and then make a Zephyrim squad so you have 1 of both Edit: just reached the part of the video where he said this. But comments help with video engagement so I'm not removing it

I like to build all 4 special weapons in the seraphim box, then combine them with the combat patrol seraphim. 2 squads, 1 with flamers, 1 with meltas. You could also play the meltas as flamers, because nobody is ever going to look that close at your tiny pistols.

Damn, I just got into 40k and litterally had my first 1k game yesterday. Got a 1k list with the combat patrol, and some second hand stuff (this army is expensive for a poor student) and the list is not the most optimal, but not too bad I think. I noticed in my game yesterday I was a bit lost on what to do with all my units and didn't really have a purpose for most units. Then I looked at your channel for some guidance and today, this shows up in my recommended. This video helped a lot. Thank you for making it!

Thank you for making this video! I'm new to Warhammer in general and have been struggling real bad with how I've been using my Sisters army (mainly just taking battle sisters and the rest are Celestine w/seraphim, walkers, and vehicles). Though it may take a very long time for me to remember every rule and combo so I stop shooting myself in the foot, I appreciate you for pointing out a great set of lists and combos to keep in mind! Yeah we're not Custodes "Good luck shifting my 5 layers of durability" or Black Templars "Have fun dealing with 10 billion Primaris bodies". We're a finesse army like Eldar/Dark Eldar. Our datasheets are no where near as good individually though.

@@arn1345 Good point, never thought of the Sisters as a finesse army. Hopefully the upcoming codex should help a bit, but for now I'm torn between going mechanized for most damage output or going infantry and hoping they survive any shot whatsoever (my dice hate me and toughness three, one wound is the bane of my existence)

Best thing to do if you want a hand anything is to build the combi weapon option and then cut off the magazine and the barrel of the bolter part, only leaving the flamer part. Maybe even put a purity seal on it so it’s been approved by the imperium. Love the vids as always.

@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Hey!! I don´t know if you are reading this or not, it was a game vs Tau and I won 75 - 67, with fixed secondaries (Cleanse and Engage on all fronts). I got some sweet point farming because I was all spread out across the Battleflied, and with time I lost a lot of units (in the end I almost had no units) but the point advantage saved me! Great advice and sucess 😄

Great video as always, going through older stuff now as I am up to date. One thing I have done is use a spare heavy flamer to make my seraphim have hand flamers, chop the bolt pistol barrel off and attach the flamer barrel, looks great. 1 heavy flamer makes 2 hand flamers.

Thank you for the video! Very helpful. Question. Would it ever be worth it in the warsuit list, to cut celestine in order to run Morvenn? To make up the 10 points i was thinking of just downgrading a repentia squad to regular battle sister squad?

it could be worth it, Vahl is tough and improves a warsuit unit a lot. I have found that I am lacking one or two units when I use Vahl but see for yourself how it goes - our playstyles may differ

I’ve got vahl with a squad of war suits in my list, I’m hearing you on the over investment front, however I feel like vahl with suits is something the enemy will struggle to deal with at 1000 points. Full rerolls on hits and wounds on multi meltas, grenade launchers and war maces seems unstoppable!

try it both ways and see what works. I found that with vahl then a smart opponent will take out the other units and leave me nothing to score with

I'll have to come back to this in a couple months. Painting up my Sisters for a narrative league after Adepticon, and first 2 games at at 500 points, no Epic Heroes. Struggling with my list a bit. On one hand, Castigator seems a bit over board. OTOH, it is a 'Band of Brothers' league where most opponents will be running SM/CSM (With people without SM armies being able to bring their armies. Thus part of the reason I finally got to painting) so...is it REALLY bullying to bring ONE non-HQ with more than 1 wound or toughness 3? Suppose I could tweak my list a bit further and bring in a squad f Paragons, but that just seems even MORE skew, and I don't want my first games to be as "That Guy".

I had an exorcist in my first 500pt game but the castigator will do a lot more against SM/CSM because of the heavy bolters. If it is a build up, build at your pace

Penitent engine is such a bargain man. 60 points for an angry buzzsaw missile with high strength, high AP, 2 damage attacks. It's really not hard for them to make their points back.

My list is very similar to this, but I do run Vahl. She's way too cool to leave out, plus she can get back up again and keep swinging. She can draw a lot of attention away from your other units

Putting together a 1000pt Sisters list for a tournament atm and this was very helpful! I do kind of question why in the first list you'd take a 115pt Immolator to split a 110pt Battle Sister squad in half instead of just taking two squads? Sure that leaves you with two units instead of three but with a lot more staying power in both and more defensive firepower on you home point.

because at 1000 points there are not as many things that can kill an immolator while anything can kill sisters It may come down to personal preference

That makes a lot of sense, especially with a Rhino and an Immoaltor in there as well! I went with a 4-meltagun Dominion squad alongside the battle Sisters, because opposing players are leaning a lot more towards light infantry so I'm not 100% sold on a penitent engine yet. There's some gravis and plague marines though. And iteans I can choose which squad the Palatine is going in the rhino with based on my opponent, Novitiates to make her a blender or meltagun Dominions for her to give lethal hits to and scout with.

I'm very new to Warhammer. It is because of your videos that I've decided I like Sisters better than Space Marines. I was preparing for a 1000 pt match in a couple of months. I'm going to ask a really crazy question. Now that I've watched the video, is there ever a point where an Armiger Warglaive can fit in a 1000 point list, rather than say, 2 Penitent engines? I was building my list and it included St. Celestine, Seraphim, a 10 woman squad of Battle Sisters, Arco Flagellants, and an Immolator.

oh yes, an armiger works very well. It has true melta and anti-tank damage. Switching out a pair of Pen'gins for an armiger to do the same job works wonders

The only thing Imp Knights have going for us is the 3 Knights that are low enough for the mandatory character (since, unlike CK, we don't have a character Armiger) are really great targets for Mysterious Guardian, you really don't want a Melee/Super Melta/Super LasCannon Knight suddenly appearing 9" away from you. The downside is that the Errant really wants to take Mythic Hero and 2 Warglaives. And the Gallant isn't cheap enough to make the same combo work either, which is interesting cus the CK version is cheaper.....

I bought the Monopose Box two times and 3 times battle sisters, for the seraphim i just convertet two of the bolt bistol Paires to Hand Flamers. I just cut up the barrel and the magazine of the bolt pistol, then the barrel and tank from the flamers (from the battle sister multipart kit) then glued the barrel and the tank on the Bolt Pistols and now i have hand flamers. Be smwart, dont buy a Box you dont need because of a few bits. I like the result it looks good enough and someone should dare tell me on a tounament "these are no Hand flamers you cant play that" stop this Gatekeeping and Unite Against GWs Price and Sprue Policy, I totally will make myself a Multimelter for one Battle sister. just build a Kimbi Bolter than snip away the bilder barrel and magazine and glue another melter barrel on. easy. Converting saves money.

It looks ok, the retributers will die quickly unless you can keep them hidden and screened from enemy charges. I see the use of all the units except the Sacresants - without a character then they don't get their special rule. I would swap them out

@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Ahhh1 yes, I see what you mean. You mean the -1 to a wound roll. Hmmm, I was intending to put Imagifier with them to make a 2+ save, but there weren't the points. Plus I wonder if the 4+ invul would be better on Battle Sisters? I was thinking Hospitalier with Battle Sisters then maybe add a Palatine, but actually a Palatine or cannoness with the Celestian Sacresants might be good? If I don't mind having a squad left and being on 995 instead of 1000 I could swap the CS out for a Hospitalier with Litanies to go with the Battle Sisters, but then I don't have much to get on objectives.... Hmmm, an alternative (I'd have to get the models is get a Preacher to put with the 3 Arcos then get 2 Crusaders to escort the Missionary? That actually might make more sense. No point in having tons of miracle dice and re-rolls if there's nothing on the table to use them.... Thoughts?

Hospitaller is best with Sisters then she can easily heal any character with them. I have a video about the hospitaller that compares them to the imagifier

I did pretty well with walker heavy list 2 mortifiers to take the flanks 2 single penitent engine 1 group of 2 penitent engines 2 sets of war suit 1 one led my vahl one by themselves a 10 man sister squad and imagifier sitting at home. I was able to defeat my admech player by pushing my penitents up the middle mauling his iron striders who he placed ahead to block his tank on legs which he said could eat the buzz blades they did not.

high chance of hitting and re-roll hots vs infantry (most enemies) and if targeting a vehicle (or anything for that matter) you get to re-roll wounds because of twin linked. And the number of shots is consistent - tournament players like consistent

I wouldn't touch or waste money on legends units like the repressor. Even if you can play them in casual games, it's frowned upon in my experience, and they're not very supported ruleswise.

You are quite far of the mark for the Triumph in 1k tbf. For 125pts, thats 18a and 18w which is a lot in that size

but remember you should have a bodyguard of sisters for another 100pts and those 18W are at T3 on one model so it is vulnerable to multi-damage weapons and light weapons

it may be a few points off. A lot of casual opponents will be fine with you using the army, especially if you say you are just learning. If it was valid a week ago then it isn't too much to let it still be valid for a few more games, especially as there have been no rules changes
