I've tried making my text yellow in this video, somewhat as a way to differentiate between mine and Shyguymask's text, but also as a test. What does everyone think? Does it look better than white? Keep it this way or go back to white?
I want to play SOTN again just so I could re-experience the pure joy of slicing everything up with the Crissaegrim. Also, Terraria has a weapon directly based on it called the "Terragrim", having the same "fast slices in front of you while you walk" effect but MUCH weaker, for obvious reasons. Still one of the best weapons through most of Pre-hardmode tho, albeit extremely rare.
Celebrationmk10 seed makes it pretty accessible, it seems. I read that it's bought from the Princess during a blood moon while on that seed. 25 gold is pretty steep for that game state, though.
I cannot begin to describe how happy I was to see that thumbnail. More crosscode stuff is better for this world. Also great to read the comments and see people who love that game as much as I do.
Shoutouts to the real most powerfull character in gaming: Sergey, who is capable of sending a ridiculous amout of dmg boosters, and he only used his 0,0001% of his power
fun fact, crosscode is there because shyguy asked for ideas and he said "ingame hacks/cheats are included" and my mind immediately went to sergey hacks, and that's how it got in
Seriously, that Gastropolis has more HP then even Tyrant Baal from Disgaea 6. Which is saying a LOT. Especially since Disgaea 6 multiplied the big numbers the series is known for by like 10000x.
Funny thing about Zanmato is, you don't even need to pay millions of gil to see it. Once you know the tricks (and grind Yojimbo's compatibility up), it's quite easy to use. It's even possible to Zanmato Penance by paying ONE GIL! Granted the best possible odds of that happening are like 20% (?).
I only started playing CrossCode recently and I love nearly everything about it (except the 2d platforming) and the Gastropolis has been my favourite moment so far by a long shot (outside of teaming up with a certain someone afterwards). It's so meta and it's a little bit anime-y but the whole vermillion wasteland section was an absolute treat. Still need to finish sapphire ridge, but I don't see how this game could get much better than that.
@@llamaboioflusatia I just did some quick calculation. Since CrossCode uses Javascript, the numbers are probably represented as 64-bit floating point, but that can only represent exact numbers up to 15 digits. Gastropolis's HP has 20 digits. You'd need to do at least 20 thousand damage in a single hit for it to actually do anything, as anything less than that gets rounded to _zero._ Even then, you'd need to hit Gastropolis about _8 quadrillion times_ in order to kill it! Yes. Gastropolis has so much HP that the game physically cannot represent the numbers less than 20 thousand away from it.
The thing about Disgaea is that it's a joke on other RPGs always trying to be "bigger and better" in regards to stats and animations, so it makes every animation insane and every stat super high intentionally as satire (same thing with the character designs, it's all one big joke at the expense of RPGs and anime). So when you say that the stats are so high that they have no meaning, that's literally the point.
Whois, its been 3 years since I started watching you and your content. You've improved so much. Thank you for giving such a good time, and I hope you cobtinue to succeed in the future!
I like the gastropolis fight. Especially when you are doing a Sergey hack run. Makes the entire thing very amusing! Best of all, the final boss will actually compensate for your massive cheat damage! Crosscode is fucking amazing fun game!
Regarding the Crissaegrims, I once spent so many hours leveling up to 99, with full God's Garb, double Rings Of Varda, Dragon Helm, Twilight Cloak, and double Crissaegrims. I beat Dracula in four seconds. That's for *both forms*, excluding the cutscenes between them. For reference at level 60 you can beat him in seven seconds.
Aria of Sorrow: Lubicant Soul (Gain strength as your HP lowers), Spoiled Milk (takes your health down to 1), Valmanway or (if you prefer to play safe) Red Minotaur Soul (Swing a giant axe) = shred everything that moves. And in the romhack Aria of Sorrow Alter there's the Excalibur (free from the stone) and The Void: Both weapons hits multiple times for a lot of damage. EDIT: Oh, a little more: in World of Final Fantasy you can exploit Behemonster (a Mega Mirage) to do ABSURD AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE that can trivialize even the super bosses and Shantrollto. How? Simple: Meteor Counterstance and Defend until you have 1 HP (thanks to Last Stand) and 4 AP left. Then use Revenge Blast and deliver the PAIN TRAIN. With Iron Giant you can use Mighty Guard and keep following up with either normal attacks or its other abilities. This one is super tanky and strong! As for Bahamut: Flare twice and Touch Down for maximum damage before the gran finale: MEGA FLARE. Due to how Mega Flare works, it will cause obscene amounts of damage whether you have low HP OR AP.
27:08 Lea, why do you do so much damage?! Than moment alone made me want to play that game Also, Lea's face seconds before is the one from someone who despite being powerful wants so much more, It's great.
You'll have to beat the main game first before you get access to that particular mode... not that doing so is a grind. I'd say it's well worth your time.
DQ9 sorta made Axes completely broken Helm Splitter enables you to lower an opponent's defense, making it super useful for boss fights, while Axes of Evil is a very useful group enemy attack. AND BOTH COST ZERO MP. Even the skills that cost MP are still useful, like Hatchet Man for metal slime hunts. The weapon's biggest flaw is that only two hidden classes can actually use it, but it's not as big a deal when you master it, as any vocation can then use it.
Most Powerful attack and weapon? I remember Digimon World 3 : Galacticmon's Ragnarok Cannon, can reduce our HP to only 1, even from 9999. Also Juggernaut battleship that transforms into the powerful Destromon.
Honestly when I saw how much damage I was dealing to Gastropolis nearby the end of the fight I was blown away at how high the numbers went. _And then later on I found out about a special… "modification" that blew that little moment straight out of the Milky Way._
Fun fact I just found out: if you use Sergey hax, becoming fully powered will let you one-shot the boss. That's 160 quntilion damage in a single hit. Now that's scary damage for any player character to have.
Tbh i expected the zenith to show up, but then again, that thing is basically a dev weapon with how broken op it is (seriously, it's basically a /kill against everything), but vamp knives? Yeah, those things are straight up unfair lol. I main melee, so the fact that i get to use a weapon that not only has actually really good DPS, but it also has ridiculous life steal is just *chef's kiss*
It's pretty fun. They went out of their way to add many special dialogues and expressions exclusive to the mode. Apollo's rants when you one-shot him in the duels alone makes it worth it.
@@Shyguymask It does sound satisfying, especially since I seen a montage about Lea slowly going power mad. But I want to see an entire playthrough of that mode so I can see how everyone just flips out by seeing this power.
About Crosscode, there is a NG+ Exclusive Attack that does do a lot of Damage. Although...What would happen if you combined it with the Gastropolis Fight? Would it also be effected by the Stat Buffs?
item asylum has since been updated, and the unparalleled best item in the game is now definitely the awp It 1-shots anyone, with perfect accuracy, from an infinite distance, and it's in the base game. You just have to get 5 kills with the generic sniper in one life to use it Speaking of which the generic sniper is an A+ tier item itself, so it'll usually be super easy
The Roblox caught me off guard, but the fact that a game foregoes balance for fun in most cases, is something that vibes well with me and gives me joy.
Another powerful attack in Terraria is Starlight, a rapier dropped from Empress of Light, which is basically a rainbow Crissaegrim with greater reach. I used it in a "True melee" challenge run where I only allowed myself to use Swords and Spears that didn’t fire any projectiles when swung. That combined with a powerful Tank/Mobility loadout (Full Beetle armor w/Shell, Brain of Confusion, Master Ninja gear, Fire Gauntlet (come to think of it, since Starlight doesn't benefit from Melee Speed, a Warrior Emblem would've been better), Charm of Myths, Empress Wings, and Soaring Insignia, all reforged to Warding for more Defense), I think it's safe to say Moon Lord (the final boss) was my bitch. I expected him to be tough, but I ended up defeating him 5 times in a row, never dying to him, not even once.
About Item Asylum "bobm on a stick" named melee used to be really op, like small damage, but high knockback, which was op on maps with open bounds. But then it got hit by what i like to call, "The Nerf Nuke", basically it got nerfed so hard that it became shit-tier instantly, basically it was the same weapon expect the user dies when it hits someone, i dont remember if i also killed the one hit by the heavily nerfed version, but i think it didn't, after some updates the "bobm on a stick" got a buff which brought it up to the balanced tier. From its beginning to the present, how it behaved was way different.
first i discover shiguy plays IA and now he shows up on gits channel to talk about it simply wonderful Item Asylum is godly, I once got a +10 killstreak with ONLY Vampire Knives lmao
Hey Git, ever heard of a man that goes by Barbatos Goetia? in Tales of Destiny, he has a very interesting attack named WORLD DESTROYER, the amount of overkill it deals is VERY interesting.
reminds me of a spell, in several Ultima games, i think it's called "armageddon". it LITERALLY kills EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. BUT this includes ALL quest-givers, so you can't finish the game! it's a crazy joke.
Honestly, SotN was a game I considered extremely easy for a Castlevania game, but once I got Crissaegrim, it legit went to boring levels of easy. Like, at first, it is fun to slash through enemies easily, but eventually I'm like "This is fucking pointless, just get me to the final boss already".
That was the game's only real flaw. The next 6 Castlevanias took that template that SOTN made and tried to give it a better-balanced difficulty, often re-using the same sprites.
About the Crosscode part....Yes, I agree that's some amazing numbers, and even more since they"re entirely displayed but in disgaea 6 postgame, let's say that you could one shot the boss without much difficulties. Doesn't mean anything, really, since it's just Big F Numbers versus Big F numbers, loosing pretty much any meaning, but citing Disgaea was a mistake.
oh, in FF "3", there's a trio in the "Cyan's dream" area with a different "delta attack" that's really nasty UNLESS you know how to counter it, then it's harmless. just equip accessories that protect from being turned into stone.
13:30 that's Bug Fables music BTW (specifically the 14th OST, "his friends call him Spuder (don't call him Spuder", which is the theme of the first boss battle in the game. Sorry I just had to point that out because Bug Fables isn't that popular Also, the item name "Bobm" is hilarious.
26:18 that number is 19 digits long, making the proper way to say it "2 quintillion, two hundred thirty-seven quadrillion, eight hundred eighty-two trillion, two hundred sixty billion, seven hundred forty-four million ,seven hundred seventy-five thousand, two hundred forty-two", which is so huge, I had to pull out Wikipedia to find the proper term for a 19 digit number.
