"Sir, are you feeling alright? "This Jeager is too powerful." " We want to give the kaijus a chance." "Sir, what do you mean?" "You heard me, shut it down or I will kill you!"
now what if the kaiju evolved (as we see that they do in the movies) and then no other jeager can kill them or compete against them other than this one, you cant have all the universe relying on one jeager
It's probably bc its dangerous to have a scared Kaiju flailing all around while a giant building sized robot tortures it. Yeah he's killing the bad guys but if it's torturing the kaiju its probably killing humans if they're in the way...
@@wrath7646that wouldn't really be possible but I think this is a joke and it did make me laugh and it's because the animal would survive or be killed and if it lived it either won or ran away for a small amount of time we have seen that the animals are persistent and don't give up so it's likely that they are hard to make scared
"Sir kaiju is going extinct" "How the heck?!" "Because of blackout eclipse!" "Shutdown the damn thing!" "Are you kidding sir?!" "No, shutdown the goddamn thing!" "Why sir." "Because we can't afford losing our career!" "We're making more movies..pilot!" "Sir..What The F-!?"
Thankgod that jager is fan made because the idea that it was shut down as the best jager for being unethical towards the kaiju when the stakes are global destruction is hurting my head
@@IxidoraCanadian here. Genuinely didn't know about this. Huh. As a country we certainly have some skeletons in our closet (cough inhumane treatment of indigenous communities cough), but this is a new one to me.
There is no cat 13 on record in pacific rim. If you’re talking about maga Kaiju then I’m going to correct you. 1. It wasn’t gipsy danger that fought mega Kaiju it was gipsy avenger 2. Mega Kaiju is a catagory 5 not a 13
As Raleigh said, "The Jaegers are only as good as their pilots." Gipsy Danger wasn't as powerful technologically as the newer Jaegers, but it's pilots made it into an kaiju extermination machine.
@@Shad0W4884well, Herc was more skilled but was shoved over as Chuck's Co pilot. Herc Hansen was the 3rd pilot and the last one to Solo Protocol a Jeager and kill more than 1 kaiju.
Guess that makes me a psychopath because if I were to pick a jeager it would be that one drill missiles with a neurotoxin, sign me up fight the kaiju without physically fighting it and breaking a sweat, sign me up, watching a monster shit itself because you scared the shit out of it, sign me up!
I mean, in the article the pilots were described as "a grizzled war veteran and a stone cold tactician, respectively" now, massive respects to those Who have the balls to fight in wars, but being desensitized to killing humans must come with some kind of psychopathy. Edit: spelling.
The biggest lessons learned in human history, fist vs wooden club, club wins, club vs sword, sword wins, sword vs gun, gun wins, the plot of pacific rim? We have guns, we have swords, but let's pick a fist fight anyways
The concept of humans having that much mercy for giant alien monsters that attack cities has got to be the most unrealistic thing in this series, not the giant robots, not the monsters themselves but this.
You’d be surprised at how empathetic humans can be, case in point, a girl was at a store with her boyfriend and saw a “sad lemon” and took it home out of pity. It’s an old tumblr post if I recall
Lol, I think it's the most realistic thing. If that actually happened, there would be a mob of college educated lesbians crying, "Don't hurt it, it's just hungry😭"
That kinda was the problem. The pilots were psychopath who would torture the kaijus for hours instead of just killing them outright. And, if you remember, the whole point of the yeagers was to kill the kaiju fast enough while keeping collateral damage to a minimum. This yeager instead would draw it out for as long as it possibly could, tormenting kaiju for hours on ends and letting them bleed all over the area.
@randomdude3578 I'd say making them suffer is a fantastic deterrent. Take Vlad the Impaler for example. When all his enemies saw what he did, they collectively said: "Oh _wwwwwtf......_ *Nope.* We out."
@@LiberPater777 except it doesn't work. The kaiju are meat robot slaves created by the precursors, they don't have a choice in the matter. You make one suffer, and another comes to take its place and so on and so forth. Meanwhile, all that toxicity they release from those hours of suffering ends up poisoning the area further, thus making this a pyrrhic victory at best. Remember, kaiju are made the way they are so that even in death, their bodies could become a potent biological hazard to the area. Hence the yeager program was, from inception, made with the idea of killing them fast and minimising the damage as much as possible. Which this particular yeager didn't do. At that point, it may as well be helping the invaders given how unhelpful it's hobby was.
No, no such thing as too powerful then no such thing as too powerufl. if too powerfult han too powerful IF NOT TOO POWERFULT HENT NTON TOO POWIERFULF AOKFA BEDY EDONFE.,.
@@user-uq1fw1zg9bsorry I have only heard of pacific rim. Is uprising some form of third party spin off like not another teen movie, ghostbusters 2016 or teilight?
As much as it is fan made, i can understand the theory that the Govt. That run the Jaeger program, would shut it down until needed, the Kaiju become stronger every wave learning from the previous, so making him see little action as possible makes sense to me.
Blackout: shoots godzilla with his arsenal. Godzilla: tanks the hits. Blackout: continuously fires. Godzilla: I have to admit, you did some massive damage, and that attack was life threatening for me. However, I have a secret weapon. Mothra: I will help you godzilla! Blackout: kills mothra. Godzilla: HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Godzilla: activates thermo. Godzilla: incinerarates Blackout.
I’m really proud of the environment you’ve set up for your podcast Brian. There’s girls here that come back despite differences in the past because they know that there’s something to learn here. Good job setting yourself apart from the rest of the Manosphere and keep up the good work man.
Even though its fanmade, the concept of a Jaegar influencing its pilots to inflict pain on tbe kaiju is a fascinating concept, slowly turning its pilots into a pair of sociopaths who spend more time torturing then actually fighting.
"omg we are saving the world and our species too easily, almost like playing around... We need to shut down this unit or we might just survive prematurely."
@@KyrenType4probably either watching the world end since fixing it it’s kinda his job Or MZ Or Shimo since he heard some person say even Godzilla is afraid of it (referring to Shimo)
@@iris4419 it couldn’t be monster zero, since we’ve already seen him fight it, and he wasn’t scared at all. He was just struggling and the only reason why I can see him fearing the ice titan is because it’s possibly killed all of its species that were in the hollow earth
Godzilla would atomize whatever the fuck this is. It would be frugally pathetic as they can conjure anything Godzilla fears, he would charge his beam and burn through them at 500,000 degrees.
If this jeager was this effective, they should have started mass assembling copies to overwelm each kaiju as they emerged if not forcing them to take them back with them to colonize their dimension.
I mean, in a way it's a really smart move to hide your full power from the enemy. While they didn't know about the precursers they probably realized that thouse Kijuus are connect and evolve to kill humnas easier, so it's better to hide the best way to kill tham in case everything goes to s*it and like 100 Kaijuus appear out of no where. It's like how we use nukes, we don't actually use tham, we still use tham as a threat and last chance.
It would make sense if it got shut down because when making the kaiju hallucinate it become more unpredictable and more destructive towards its surroundings
Another reason it could have been shut down is because it would affect it's pilots in a similar manner that it was affecting the kaiju from prolonged use and result in a severely damaged mental state for the pilots maybe even resulting in the pilots becoming catatonic
Not to mention that it was using missiles filled with toxins so powerfull that they can bring down a Kaiju. Imagine what said missiles could have done to the local ecosystem, if they ever failed to hit their mark.
