I know anthems are kind of boring, but Flowering of the White Tree is really good. If you have a deck that goes wide, it becomes stupid powerful while giving a little protection to your commander (and their legendary friends).

#1 most powerful card is the 1/1 the one ring. That card has the hidden effect to make a contract with any LCS to give you all and every card printed and to ever print in exchange for that one card. Or loads of money.... Up to you.

Bowmaster + Basilisk Collar + Howling Mine. ... That's going to be fun in a lot of decks.

Last March of the Ents should also be good in Arcades. Lots of cheap high toughness creatures to draw with then everything you lay down draws you more cards.

Funnily enough the halfling says legendary Spell not creature. Kamahl's Druidic Vow is something that profit a lot from something like this

Delighted Halfling works with any legendary spells not just creatures. Planeswalkers, legendary artifacts, enchantments, instants and sorceries.

I’m not sure if I agree with a 4 mana player-only situational drain being better than a 2 mana flash universal pinger + token/big body generator that triggers on something as ubiquitous as draw. That said, since you think so highly of it, I will take a closer look at the bat and try it out in a deck.

Cavern-Hoard Dragon is going straight in my Themberchaud deck. And Gollum Obsessed Stalker in my Astarion deck. Liking these new cards.

Great list Prof, the only card I'd also included would be "Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff" that treasure production will be pretty crazy. 😄

Don't forget the lands are really good too! I think probably the mount doom one is the best (board wipe on a land is wack) but I feel like they are all pretty good

Orcish Bowmaster goes in perfectly in my esper card draw group hug deck, I've been looking for a way to finish off opponents quickly. Tapping temple bell on my turn now lets me create a 3/3 army token and deal 3 damage to any target.

This set just has *so many* cards that slot perfectly into at least one of my decks. Even some really niche ones. Rosie goes right into Rocco, Street Chef. Rhadaghast goes right into Tawnos, the Toymaker. Display of Power is great in any Spellslinger deck, though it's also just generically useful as a tech since it doesn't have to target anything you control. The various landcycling cards don't have to find basic lands, so you can grab your duals and triomes with them. Forge Anew lets you Equip at instant speed (though only during your turn). Ringsight is just shy of Grim Tutor. You can have nine Nazgul in a deck, and they all boost each other to the point where Wraith Tribal is now a deck that I *really* want to make. The last chapter of Song of Earendil gives all of your creatures flying *counters*. Taunt from the Ramparts is more expensive than Disrupt Decorum and requires a second color of mana, but also makes your opponents' creatures unable to block until your next turn.

Loved it, you always delight Prof. As for fave cards, I have several cards I am excited for, though given my love for Enchantments, Fires of Mount Doom for my Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revial looks good, and there was a commander potential that makes Forge Anew increase my desire to make A Mono-White Legendary Creature Equipment Deck.... I should note I am not a very GOOD Magic Player, I just like making fun sounding decks xD

One card people should be aware of is 'Rising of the Day' - A literal superior version in every way uncommon version of 'Fervor'. I know I'm getting my hands on one of those!

For non-legendary cards Im looking forward to pulling is 1) Lash of the Balrog for Elenda 2) Grey Host Reinforcements 3) Shadow Summoning 4) Mithril Coat for my new King of the Oathbreaker deck Im building, and 5) Dawn of a New Age for card draw for my Jetmir token deck

Elven Farsight is a great common for Commander. Dig 3 for G.... plus conditional draw... lets you dig and is never really a dead draw. Helps you correct course if you hit land flood/drought or maybe need a body. Sorcery speed is never ideal but it's a common after all.

I just gotta say that all the costumes/props in the recent videos are really fun, kinda dig it.

I really like Display of Power. I think it'll be especially strong in cEDH, but I' going to try slotting it into some EDH decks too. Hew the Entwood looks like the best way to tempt my terrible luck into sitting with half my lands & no extra value.

A few cards I like: - Dawn of a New Age feels like good but very fair white creature-based card draw. It's a little awkward in that you want to play it when you have a decent number of creatures already out, but at that point you might already be several turns into the game so you might end up not even getting every card out of it. But I think it could easily be 2 mana for 4-5 cards. - Flame of Anor seems amazing in basically any deck in its colours with a wizard commander. 3 mana to draw 2 and kill a creature/artifact at instant speed is insane value. - Taunt from the Rampart is just an awesome fun variant of Disrupt Decorum. Feels very boros, and it could have a huge impact on the game if played at the right moment.

Honestly Last March of the Ents is possibly going to get slotted over Rishkar's Expertise in my Ultra Magnus deck. It may limit it to creatures but it feels like it has more potential to justify the extra two mana on top of 1: not being counterable and 2: putting them on the battlefield instead of casting without paying the cost. Tons of cool cards to slot into my other decks too but I'm more excited to get singles to build around Saruon, the Dark Lord

Another benefit of the halfling is the 2 defense, which helps it survive more than the Birds or other 1-mana creatures

Ashaya and Adeline can only be countered by Stern Scolding if their defined power or toughness are 2 or less. They */* count in all zones and on the stack. (Sorry to be pedantic but we are Magic Players after all!)

I feel like Hobbits sting would be useful for taking care of any annoying creatures if played right. Combined with something like horn of gondor and some other card that quickly generates food tokens, you could you could hit almost anything. But I'm still new to magic and maybe this isn't the best since it is an instant.

Horn of Gondor is going straight into my Kyler Humans deck.

I think Sméagol, Helpful Guide is going to be a good commander card

Really happy that one of the best cards in the set (bats of Mirkwood) is a Common. I do agree with most of this list and my favorite card in the set is the Bats of Mirkwood and I do think it is one of the strongest.

Orcish Bowmaster would be great with prosperity: just a 4 point prosperity will deal 9 damage in commander (and 9 +1/+1 counters on your orc army)

I just picked up Mishra Eminent One precon and am waiting for it to be delivered. Is the Hew the Ents a good include? With how many mana rocks that precon has and how many other artifacts it has it might not care to sacrifice a few lands to potentially grab some artifacts to copy for free

For the love of god please I need the professor or someone else to answer, what was the song playing at around 6:10 ???? Im sure it starts earlier than that, but it sounds like Folk Round - from the video game Total Miner Forge. It might be a different, more popular song that i might not know about, and maybe they based the song in the game on that. Either way itd be crazy if prof knew about that game

Insane that something like the Bats are COMMON, it also triggers 2 times everytime you clone your legendaries and have to sack the copy token. This can be infinite very fast with ETB triggers of token clones.

I really think people are overlooking Ringsight. You get tempted and you search for a card that shares a color with a legendary creature you control. If your commander is out and no one removes it on the stack, you basically search for anything that's not colorless. Creature, enchantment, sorcery, instant, planeswalker, saga, battle, some artifacts that do have color....
