That's literally the concept behind Powerwolf. They're telling the stories of fallen and defiled, evil creatures (werewolves, or your average sinner, however you wanna take it) who have no shot at heaven, yet serve God despite their evil inclinations and failings.
Power wolf has always been incredible. Recently I ran a grim hollow D&D campaign and these guys were a bottomless source of inspiration for gothic goodness.
"You enter an old church. You see a group of priests and nuns chanting and praying. Suddenly the full moon is on full sigth and the priests and nuns turns into *WEREWOLFS!* looking at you with fierce intent. Rol iniciative" 😈😈
Looks more like some anime big timer surrounded by his hostile servants while you simply came to plead a favor. "Oh how kind of yours to approach within our brethren's humble domain. This kindness of ours is often retorted in kind by your people's blasphemy and malice. As you may know from our relationship. So this is no mere common invitation we've given to one of our most sacred or sanctums"
Have you ever heard of band called Blind Guardian? I think those guys are the closest thing to that. Their style could be described as symphonic powermetal (well that goes for about half of their songs). I recommend tracks Sacred World; Wheel of Time; And then there was silence 2011 (this one is 14 minutes long)
@@nana_baby_na I've just remembered. You might also like Avantasia (i recommend Seven Angels). I personally prefer Blind Guardian to them but i remember enjoying their music as well.
Bruh, i am just imagining the crusades, but instead of knights it is the christian werewolves spreading the word of god to wherever they go and killing everyone, deadass would watch it
@@fogareuaquelecaradaportari3386 No. They're crusaders, dressed in armor and all. But a small group are secretly werewolves, and have to hide the fact from everyone else or else be crucified. Would add some drama and suspense to the show.
Why these aren't how they intended and instead created by a RU-vid legend is beyond me. My way of praising what you've done here and wishing these "most powerful versions" were on sites like spotify.
Powerwolf vous êtes grandiose. Gigantesque 👍. Toutes vos chansons sont d'une grande beauté. Vous avoir vus sur scène c'est divin. Merci pour tout ce que vous faites. ❤️🤘🇨🇵🇩🇪
The lyrics just makes me think it's the human religious who are the blood soaking monsters and the normal monsters just have to defend their cause and home from slaughter.
@@TrueScottsmen Its the studio and the orchestra versions of the song, it's not a "slight audio change", it's a composite of the song across its two versions blended very well and giving them a very end game boss battle badass tone. So yes, better than the originals.
Credo in deum patrem omnipotentem Creatorem caeli et terrae Et in Iesum christum, filium eius unicum Dominum nostrum Qui conceptus est de spiritu sancto In the night came the killers with the cross From the land of war and plague Came the prophecies of fate And the word of God was long forsaken On the stone upon the grave Told the glory of the brave And their legacy was all forgotten In the hands of heaven sent Come to fight and to defend By the word we praise the holy name Ereum dominae In the night came the killers with the cross In the light of the moon when our lives are lost In the dark when your blood is calling In the dusk when the fever's crawling In the night came the killers with the cross From their destiny they wake Bring hypocrisy and hate And the land of God had long been parted Stand our ground for heaven's name Out for mercy and for pain By the dawn, we raise the glory flame Ereum dominae In the night came the killers with the cross In the light of the moon when our lives are lost In the dark when your blood is calling In the dusk when the fever's crawling In the night came the killers with the cross In the night came the killers with the cross In the light of the moon when our lives are lost In the dark when your blood is calling In the dusk when the fever's crawling In the night came the killers with the cross In the night came the killers with the cross (In the night came the killers with the cross) In the light of the moon when our lives are lost (In the light of the moon when our lives are lost) In the dark when your blood is calling In the dusk when the fever's crawling Lost a life to the killers with the cross (Lost a life to the killers with the cross) In the light of the moon when our lives are lost (In the light of the moon when our lives are lost) In the dark when your blood is calling In the dusk when the fever's crawling In the night came the killers with the cross
might be weird but the first part of the song relate a lot to my country lol "From the land of war and plague Came prophecies of fate and the word of god was long forsaken On the stone upon the grave Told the glory of the brave And their legacy was all forgotten" like we have had the most battles in history, i'm not flexing i'm just saying, but we are remembered for surrendering this one time lol it's france btw but you already figured it out when i wrote surrender.. see my point ? :( killers with the cross.. hummm *starts sweating*
Yes you have had the most battles why because france has been around the longest second is uk see the link, people make fun of france in ww2 because frankly some decisions you made were retarded and stupid
@@songbreakerworkbench Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band one of the greatest power metal bands of all time, almost all of their music is melodic and powerful featuring both speed and symphonic elements. The vocalist Toni Kakko has a very powerful and high pitched vocals also does some harsh vocals. They are also famous for their alternate guitar and keytar solos. If you would like to make a remastered version i recommend you to check their older albums Ecliptica and Reconing Night, they do it fast so i really don't expect you to make it anytime soon lol. But actually if anything their latest album Talvio has some good music but the mixing is absolut shit and has no power at all, you would save alot of lives if could remaster some songs of it. Thanks man i'm waiting for your next video.
@@alexanderprime8003 Their style is similar to Beast in Black, Blind Guardian and Avantasia. Really melodic. Unfortunately the older albums you mentioned have no symphonic versions but I'll see what I can do.
PowerWolf, especially this song, helped me overcome a lot of my Latent Christianity. I know it has an entirely different mean than what I initially thought, but it still helped a massive amount.
