My favorite inevitable part of these “calming” games is when they start singing about kissing dads to the background music

Dan saying he wanted to write to the game devs saying they were right reminded me of when my dad got a big puzzle/crossword book for christmas years ago: he got to the last puzzle, figured out it was incorrect because the answers didn't work, wrote the publisher and they sent him a FREE NEW BOOK and a letter that they updated and reprinted the books with the corrected final cross word.

I have never seen their OCD and ADHD clash/work together as much as I have in this episode. Ex. Dan explaining to Arin to put the dot on the bottom corner of the calendar square while Arin sings a random tune lol

them losing their minds on the barcode one and arin not quite wanting to accept that the solution was to throw them away was so funny

This game is genius in its marketing. Everyone sorts and organizes differently, so anyone watching a Let's Play says, "No, they're not doing it right! UGH, now I have to buy the game so I can do it RIGHT." Because it's me. I'm saying that.

I was SCREAMING at them to the throw the extra fruit stickers away the whole time this game is a strong mix between satisfying and frustrating 😂

This game is like supposed to be an OCD satisfying experience. Watching Arin completely miss the book pattern one has the exact opposite effect on me as a viewer.

I wish someone would congratulate me when I do seemingly meaningless tasks like Dan does. He was giving Arin so much praise in the flag game for absolute guesses and I feel like my life would be a lot better if I had a hype man with me that cheers me on when I tie my shoes.

hearing dan talk about his expeeriences with ocd is so comforting to me after being diagnosed in late 2021 and going through lots of treatment for it through 2022 :] he's a great reminder that i can get better

I do like when they talk about how their respective OCD and ADHD clash and work together. It's very interesting to listen to and watch, and I wonder what that journey for them was like when they first started working together.

It's funny how this is OCD: the game, and Arin begins with a scenario about getting run over by a train that sounds exactly like a run-of-the-mill intrusive thought/obsession someone with OCD might actually have

The fact they put the shapes, colors, and patterns on the fruit stickers after the more complex puzzles for a red herring was genius

fascinating to see them get stuck on that book pattern (that I also got stuck on) and also the fruit stickers (which is the most smooth-brained mouth-breathing puzzle in the whole game)

The sound of the fruit stickers is going to haunt me for the rest of the day

As someone with OCD, this both relaxes me and make me unbelievably anxious because some of these look really nice, and others look nothing like how I would organise them to make my life happy

The cat meow censor is unsettlingly loud. I turned up my volume so I could hear the lovely boys, and then my eardrum burst from the cat censor

I could listen to an hour of their quiet singing. 😍

I love imaging that they're in some sort of public space while they do these games. Like the books in a library or an office, or the fruit in a grocery store or a farmer's market.

This game reminds me of actual psychological testing I've had to do. Especially the part where there's multiple ways to sort each one.

Careful when you buy Raycons. After seeing 4 different RU-vidrs sponsored by them I decided to buy some. They lasted 5 months and had trouble connecting together all the time even before that. Hold on to your warranties and receipts.

Having loved this game and 100%ed it, I was so excited to watch this. I don't think I've ever wanted to yell at the screen more than this episode though 🤣 Of course I understand and feel their pain though.

REZ got remade and released for the ps4 and you can use a second controller for the “trance vibration,” which is a feature that I can say adds a lot to the gameplay.

Aside from getting the squiggle right, Arin's biggest flex was that he can put his peach dot low.

Hearing Dan refer to OCD as a crippling disorder, and say he *has* OCD, and talk about its ups and downs, and Arin talk about needing to check in on his meds b/c his ADHD is consistently bad was the validation I wanted so bad and was terrified of not getting when I saw they were playing this. I clicked this with so much apprehension. Because I am so tired of the blanketed, callous misuse of medical terms for serious mental disorders. If I hear one more person say "I'm OCD/so OCD" or "lol I'm so random and ADD/ADHD can you tell haha" I swear I will turn full blown homicidal. 1) No. You are not "obsessive compulsive disorder" about how you put your dishes away. No, you're not "attention deficit disorder about school". Even if you HAVE or suffer from ADD/ADHD/OCD, that would still be a grammatical travesty. 2) STOP using a crippling neurodivergency you know NOTHING about to describe being anal retentive, or *bored*. Everyone has quirks and ticks and things that satisfy their brain. NOT everyone has compulsions and intrusive thoughts that can range anywhere from minor organizational preferences that *most* be adhered to lest they have a breakdown to hospitalization because even if they are afraid of death they can't stop the intrusive thoughts of unaliving themselves and the actions brought on by those intrusive thoughts. NOT everyone basically has two fucking brains going at any given time and struggle to focus because their very EXISTENCE feels like contracts itself. ....I could go on but suffice to say listening to adults talk about real problems like OCD and ADHD with intelligence - referencing their medications, therapy, etc, and acknowledging them as disorders, not fucking adjectives shouldn't be more satisfying than the visuals of a puzzle game built around organizing things in a visually satisfying manner, but it is. 10/10 Thank you Grumps.

Nothing hurts more than seeing the solution where the 3 on the left just need to switch with the 3 in the right and it’s like I wish I could talk into the phone and tell them! Lol

this game actually really feels accurate to OCD because when you're doing a compulsion, at some point you're like "ok, I got it 'right' now! the compulsion action is done, right?" and then your brain is like "well sorta, but re-do the entire ritual again because you did it wrong." Just when you think you've solved the 'puzzle' of the compulsion, it turns out that you're 'wrong'. This game is a literal representation of that feeling. Sorta puts you on edge when you can't get it 'right'.

I don't normally catch GG videos so quickly. I'm excited to see what chaos this game brings.

It's so interesting, to me, how the things people immediately notice are so different. it makes watching other people do puzzles nearly excruciating at times.
