Dannoura being upset that Yogiri wasn't at all being welcomed when they came back to visit the class was funny. She actually cares about him lol. To be fair he has basically taken care of her up until now. I still wonder how Sion had in mind how to "use" him since what we've seen so far is sending people to eliminate him.

Woah, the anime was following the manga pretty well, but geez, this episode scattered around everything. They also removed the king's entire speech due to the fact they skipped Yogiri killing the Heavenly Record Eater, so the king just sits down and stands back up instantly lmfao.

When Yogiri’s formal classmate literally said to his face that he didn’t think they were in the wrong for leaving them for dead. The only thing that came to my mind was “well when they’re in a situation where they can leave you for dead, I better not hear no complaints”

This episode was indeed a bit weird in how much it did throw at you. But my favorite moment was how Ayaka did walk into a tavern. And then go to a group of “questable” guys to start to beat one of them up. The best part was how she did not stop the beat as blood was coming everywhere. Until the guy finally died then she turns around and say that she will attack and kill one dude everyday from now on. I just started to love her despite barely knowing anything about her then. But we also had some other funny scenes in how different people reacted to Yogiri. As he even got a visited from a death god that was in such a awe of him. To the agents who bent the knee to him as one of them was completely terrified of him. Which is pretty justified to be fair and is the wise decision. As was Aoi who basically had trauma from meeting him last time. But then Sion did show herself to be a crazy again as she was to try and get ride of Yogiri by killing him. And yeah when even the spawn of a dark god call you crazy and unpredictable you know that person really is so. But we also learned that the dark god trapped under the capital. Is the sister of the dark god from the last episode which was interesting to learn

At this point he Takatou kill everyone in his class save for those who are loyal/friendly with him cause pretty much everyone is just going to be rushing to their deaths anyway if they even think or of something bad to him

Wow, they cut the parts of how Ayaka gains powers from the dragon she ate and tested its ability. In the manga they show it and explain it. Anywho it’s really satisfying how she pulverize her classmates that left her on the bus

Holy sh- I wasn't expecting this beat down to death for this poor pervert at the inn ☠️😱 But he kinda deserve it in a way! Takato and Tomochika' dynamic is always a blast to follow 🤣 Even though a bit too much happened in this episode, I still enjoyed it a lot! Pls God of Anime, make this show have a season 2 at the great least 🙏🏻🛐

The dividted character interaction were a lot but somehow it clicked even though it was a bit hard to keep up and wanted more stop points or for them be longer. However, I also would want to see S2 and explore this world and characters more in depth and where it goes

One thing I like about this show is how it handles death. I’m still not sure if should be taking these seriously or not because of how casual and nonchalant it is with when characters die. There’s no sad OST or crying and story doesn’t dwell on these moments for long. It’s actually refreshing in a weird way. That and also seeing the main character cruise through the story with no worries whatsoever. He’s the strongest and he knows it. The only thing he’s concerned about is getting home so he can play games and chill. Now that is relatable lol.

Good episode imho... Definitely a lot of new characters introduced--it's going to take time to learn all their names... the takedown of one of the students by the android girl who got left behind was interesting--like you said a lot is going to depend on where the story can go in the remaining episodes.

They skiped him killing a multiversal being The celestial record eater

I personally didn't find it overwhelming but I did read the light novel first so that probably helps.

I cant lie, i was so confused in wtf was happening in this episode.

Something tells me we got nothing to worry about next episode, no way is yogiri gonna have a problem. I also didn’t expect they had 3 people monitoring him, but I like them. Lastly can I just say, is it me or did the way yogiri used bloodlust to fight remind anyone else of how tanjiro uses smell in demon slayer?

I think my biggest problem is that the people who Knew What or Who the main character is, left him knowing full well they would probably be killed later... I understand they wanted to keep it a secret from him and maybe he would get killed, saving them, but why take that chance?

I actually like how the anime including alot of simultaneously scenes bit by bit. Meaning the world are actually moving. If this is another series, there's gonna be alot of "a few days earlier" or "a few hours earlier" text appears between the events happening.

I do hope for second season so I really want to believe that they skip the introduction of three more sages in episode 7 is because of VA issue and not because they don’t plan for next season.

My drinking gamble for this arc: when is Sage (chuckle) Shion going to die? My bet is a bottle of Yellow Chartreuse for episode 12. Please, Shion, it happens at the end of the month, and I don't want to be sober that day. Because the first Eroge noble (that... is not a nickname anyone wants) will cost me tomorrow a bottle of Jack for my buddy. Good thing he asked for Jack. And that's not even counting the "body count" bet for whatever plan the Sage is cooking with the glasses guy from the end of the episode. Then there's the recently made bet of how many kills will Revenge Girl have before Yogiri offs her. So we get a fun show where trope characters die like flies, "wise" people make "wise" choices, and we get to do reckless, alcoholic bets. Double the fun.

I knew they'd skip a ton of stuff, but WTH man😢they skipped the heavenly record eater😭 THEY LITERALLY ABANDONED THE WOLRD BUILDING AND ONE OF THE IMPORTANT MOMENTS FOR TAKATOUS LORE😢

There is a lot going on in this part of the story from many different perspectives so they kind of had to rush through some of the parts and jump around between perspectives pretty quickly which made it a little hard to follow. It was like they were showing what each character was doing but it was jumping around so much it was hard to understand the context of each part. I thought they did a good enough job tying it together by the end though. Hopefully it will be a little more clear once some more of the threads come together.

did anyone notice when sion tried to kill hanakawa with her heat ray and it turned to mush? i think it has something to do with yogiri and how they have interacted. maybe yogiri's power somehow rubbed off on him and triggered at that moment, killing the heat ray.

From the pv for ep 10, looks like the studio is rushing the anime. I mean this ep already cut a major scene unless they put it on the next ep.

They cut the scene where she burns the body to ash to prevent him from being resurrected.

It's a bit shocking to me how much content was skipped between this and the last episode. Like really important context too. They're moving way to fast. They're playing with ordering of certain mini-arc/sub-plots so there's a chance it'll show up elsewhere but I'm very worried about the pacing; it even made this episode seem more jumbled than it should be.

If this Anime gets a English dub I will probably binge watch it

I thought it was awesome and I would be disappointed if there wasn't a season 2 as there is so much exciting content to cover and I doubt it can all be covered in 1 season, a lot is probably going to get skipped or cut, unfortunately. I am curious on where the stopping point of season 1 will be, how much of the novel can be covered in the rest of the episodes in this season. There is just so much exciting content that's supposed to happen from now on, that's why I really, really hope that there's a season 2 so we can get more of that payoff and all that good stuff. Looking forward to next week! Patience is a virtue, right lol?

This was overwhelming and rushed. Definitely my least favorite.

You know with all the people our MC has killed like I dropped this Anime after episode 3 cuz I could not really take it that seriously with a guy who just kills everyone. And I'm thinking that there has to be a point where the MC ends up killing someone's kid because he does end up killing a girl and one of the episodes who was being controlled by someone and I wouldn't be surprised if in the light novel there's like a plot where a parent or a loved one would want to get revenge against the MC4 killing them like that has to be applaud at some point cuz if you go around killing kids even if you're just protecting yourself, somebody is going to want revenge at some point
