Best part was definitely Dannoura telling him that he should've waited for the werewolf dude to fully transform before killing him lol and her reasoning was "because cliché?" And yeah I got the feeling Lain wanted to die, which is why she was "testing/pushing" him, also how she seemed almost upset when the hero attacked her earlier but she said she regenerates so fast. When she died, she said "maybe he can save her" so I assume she wants our boy to merc the sages.

6:06 Lain was testing all avenues to find a loop hole in Yogiri's ability. And she finally got it. When someone directs their intention of killing at Yogiri, he can take them out. That was why Lain used those dumb "missles" and firing randomly in the hopes of hitting the target. But there was one flaw in her strategy. When one of those "missles" makes contact with Yogiri, in that brief instant he receives that "intention to kill", and that is enough for him to make a link to the source. Fortunately for Lain, she is smart enough to prepare a backup plan with the loli version of herself, who has no memories of Lain and thus no consciousness connected to Lain.

There's a reason why the vs debates wiki puts him in the top tiers. Of course the biggest thing is that little moment at the very end. Looks like quite a few people know about Yogiri and his powers prior to the isekai, and something has just been flagged.

Yes Brandon, you get it :D! The charm of the series where you know the punchline is seeing how you get to it. It's always been what makes good standup comedy stand the test of time - you can still enjoy the joke because of the story-telling and delivery even when you know the punchline; same with this.

Yogiri broke a golden rule in anime: never intervene someones transformation. Dannoura even address this😂

What an amazing episode that was really something to try and wrap your mind around how his powers works. Like I love how he went up to that undead commander. And did talk to him like a nobody then when the guy tried to attack him. With his undead goons they just die despite being already dead. And he is just “how did they die they where already dead how much this makes any logical sense?!” Yogiri’s response was just like “well that is just your subjective opinion on what is alive and can not be killed. But I objectively decided what that is alive and can be killed.” Which is so mind breaking in how broken his ability actually is. So naturally that encounter was pretty easily for him to deal with. But then Lain did something sneaky with how he was able to create lot of clones and make them bombard the city at random. Without any real intension to real him directly. Which caused him to protect Dannoura by making them dodge the first wave of attacks. I also loved how that made him end up motor boarding her, especially his response as it felt very soft lol. But after some work he could even kill the immortal vampire Lain. Whose main body was not even in the same dimension. But even despite dying she had a different body which was a loli survive that which was interesting. So what is the moral of the story? Listen to that tanned girl who was a minion. As she know not to mess with Yogiri no matter how powerful you are. Because the only right action is just to give up and ran the other away

I'm definitely bias but man the opening feels so good. The "woOooah" and the disappearance visual effects to the characters on screen during the opening. Not visually stunning but just feels good.

believe it or not they actually toned him down a bit from the novel. the citizen that try to kill him simply drop death, he didn't command them to die like in the anime, so his "death" actually also auto counterattack 😂

Lain: *thinking she is safe* Yogiri: *hackerman*

His title gave it away "The endpoint of all fate". If he is the end of all fate, then he can end literally anything. He kill the concept of infinity and all infinity would cease to exist.

From a design perspective, Yogiri is a mighty interesting character. He is what could be described as a "Concept Magic User". Essentially, his powers depend on his "concept" of "life" and "death". If he determines something is "alive", then he can make it "die". Because of this unexpected flexibility of his power, he can even "kill" ice, or a wand, or anything else. My guess is that the only way to stop his power is to make him "ignore" things. Basically preventing him from feeling the need to "kill" something. That, or get him before he can activate his power... if that is possible. Hence why you don't attack him. Hostility is the best way to attract his attention, and we've seen just how destructive that can be. And all this was balanced by his... deadpan attitude, more's the irony. He may be potentially dangerous, but because he has to get the motivation to unleash his power, so long as nothing makes him actively dangerous, he is a relatively harmless guy. The fun in this equation, other than the absurd incidental comedy that happens as he does his thing (and boobs), is that a being like him elicits primal fear. And said primal fear is what creates these situations. Be it because people want to do something to him in order to stop him, or because they want to use his power, or whatnot. All those things make them ignore the obvious problem: mess with him and that's your funeral. Thus, for me, seeing the chaos unfold out of wilful ignorance or plain stupidity is fun. That and to see just what new chaos he unintentionally unleashes when he offs whatever. Because now that he killed the allegedly indestructible vampire (loli copy notwithstanding), how would the other Sages react? It's like watching fail videos: you know the outcome, but how things develop towards said outcome is so fun.

Well at least he not the antagonist and has morals behind using this OP Instant Death ability. One of my main thing with the ability is, it takes the fun of watching horrible people(Reap What They Sow) or self defense get what they deserve. The power itself is it own level of insanity(And I Love It).

It was hinted that he can put an end to people from another dimension by the way of the Aggresor robot who clearly dont want to mess with him in the previous episode.

Well this was a entertaining episode. Yogiri really is something else and the sages without even knowing are turning him more dangerous for themselves, by making him adapt and learn different ways of using his power. It was quite funny how Yogiri interrupted the transformation of the Zombie, it reminded me when Android 17 did it as well in DBS and others complained about it.

He is Death Incarnate, and he is just getting started as the last scene of the episode is telling 😮

One of Yogiri's abilities is he is beyond fate and plot. All fictional characters - their origin/introduction, storyline, hax, abilities, skills, universe, conclusion are part of that "plot" which is basically useless against him.

Crazy that the girls at the end are keeping tabs on our boy.

You hit a few homeruns with some of those hypothesis. That's the only thing I'll say.

Yea this was one of the isekai's from a few years ago that I REALLY wanted to see animated. Reading the novel it definitely felt different and fun. As you mentioned I also thought it would get old but it does a really good job between the scenarios and characters that makes it way more entertaining and interesting than it should be. Feel like people are probably still sleeping on it but glad to see the people who are watching it are liking it.

While I agree he is one of the most op characters, seemingly huge area damaging effects seem problem for him alone without relying on help with shields because he doesn't seem to have any physical resistances. Something like a calamity level type of threat (earthquake, meteorite, nuclear blast) would prove too difficult to deal. But my favorite would be someone with time stop/reverse power. The only way is to be first or if counter works while time is stopped, but I doubt because he needs to be aware and technically you can't be aware of anything while frozen in time.

Not gonna happen in the anime cause it is only season 1 right now but all ill say is Yogris power is a special kind of death. The kind that nobody in any anime verse can defie.

Makes me wonder, what if you have an ability that reflects abilities? Or negates them outright? Those character types miiiiight be able to hurt him

Yogiri has no equal to be honest and the best part is that the author explains logically how he has no equal throughout the novels. 👏👏👏👏👏

This dude is basically the scp "a voice behind me" something that transcends all realities with its influence. Just in this case it only effects the state of _dead_ or the state of *alive*

This man Yogiri could easily kill the Death itself if he wanted to 🤣 No one can beat him, expect perhaps if you're faster than him 🥴 That little moment at the end make him think that things will turn even more amazing 👀

Only think he cant kill right now is what he doesnt sense so There is really limited list of beings across all anime that could even have a shot. Interesting counter would be Isekai assasin aristocrat thanks to his bloodlust and intent to kill manipulation, unfortunately i dont think it would be enough And i fear that there is more to his ability than just what we know.

Ok question what about the Death or Big Bad Wolf from Puss in Boots. He is a type of death, would anything like that be able to come into play or no just instant kill either way.

Spoiler Alpha Omega is the end, beyond all concepts and reason nothing exists without his say so and can’t be changed (so immortality, resurrection etc means nothing), the final destination of fate there is nothing beyond, he exists from the beginning over all space and time, he defines the totality of existence so you could ascend an infinite universal plane and still never meet his true form broken to all hell. Please don’t show this to people without their consent it ruins the second volume onwards

There are some anime characters who may be above Yogiri like witches of Umineko according to power scalers who measure all these infinities cosmic laws and whatnot described in given fiction but Yogiri is showing his hax most blatantly out of any I've seen

Tbh, i really like this show, even though some may say the plot is so bad written but for me its actually ok, there are times that i dont mind if the plot is bad as long as the characters seems to be likeable, for example, misfit demon academy, again another overpowered mc but the plot is not quite good but since anos is an interesting character, an overpowered mc makes the plot go boring because there is no challenges awaiting for them because they know they always win at the end, i would even say that instant death is the only unique and different type of isekai its because its a parody of every isekai full of overpowered characters and since its isekai if you think of overpowered characters, there are always magic and system power users in every generic power isekai's but instant death isn't because of who yogiri really is, i'm not going to spoil for anime watchers only so they'll wait for more episodes unless if they want to read the manga or LN.

This guy can kill anyone at first I thought shiraori from so I'm a spider so what could survive his death ability because of her spider clones but shiraori won't survive because he can kill all of shiraori spider clones at once since his death ability can reach different dimensions I don't think any anime characters and other characters from different series can beat this guy

Definitely an extremely broken skill and another good episode imho. I'm looking forward to seeing what Lain's new incarnation has planned now that she knows just how strong Yogiri actually is. So undead isn't normally an issue for Yogiri's ability and it looks like interdimensional beings/monsters are not either (though we didn't see what actually happened to the dark Aggressor in the other dimension--maybe it too can respawn?). I'm also still wondering if sage powers can affect (enhance, block or reduce) Yogiri's ability at all since it isn't native to this world/dimension. No spoilers please.

no power cannot be adapted to and overcome. the moment the Instant Death Ability is neutralized its user is powerless.

The only thing the author has to do to beat him is say “yeah this character beats him” remember no matter how powerful a fictional character is they are fictional and will never be more powerful than the pencil that decides what they are
