This was officially the scariest overnighter I've had so far.... I don't beleive in ghosts but this place had something extra going on which had me on edge all night. Let me know your thoughts and if you've ever experienced anything similar?
Thanks for watching

Pal you have changed my life and also my children's life who are both in their 20's and my grand kids lives. We now go out wild camping , building fires in the woods out the back of the village we live in. All owned by the woodland trust. Thank you so much for inspiring us . you should have your own TV prog . Take care Hazy

Hi Roger, really interested in your comment have you ever had any hostile reactions from the woodland Trust, or do you just ensure you are stealthy enough? I am in the south east and really keen to do a few wild camps but a bit worried about being "told off" if discovered. All the forums are really unhelpful, jobsworths who keep saying it's illegal in England without permission .

I was just winter camping in the backwoods of Ontario a few weeks ago and got the heeby jeebies like I was being watched while sitting by my fire. I went to bed thinking it must just be my mind playing tricks on me...the next morning woke up and saw wolf tracks circling ALL around my bivouac. Sometimes that 6th sense is no trick of the mind.

@@rmsg7504 well I didn't get eatin alive in my sleep, so there's that... But I had wolf tracks following me everywhere for 3 days straight, it was unsettling to say the least. Now I wonder how much of that behaviour is due to the fact that eastern Ontario wolves are genetically mixing with coyotes, because honestly it goes against everything I thought I knew about wolves and their preference to keep their distance from us...food for thought

About 7-8 years back I spent a year and a half living in a tent alone in the woods. Also did so when I was in my twenties (62 now). I can honestly say it was the most peaceful times of my life. Nothing like sitting under the stars at night listening to coyotes, owls and other animals calling in the night. Having your morning coffee and breakfast while the birds and day time creatures wake up with you. The sub zero days were brutal but, the quite of a fresh snow is amazing.

I was in the woods one dark night. There was a fair wind and clouds were racing over the full moon. There were owls hooting and strange noises in the undergrowth and then the moon went behind the clouds. Suddenly there was a low whistle and my face was enveloped in a damp mist, or fog, or some sort on ectoplasm… and then I realised that the kettle was boiling…

Man, I can relate more than you know. Last year in October I went on a 10 night, 11 day backpacking trip through Yellowstone, solo. Normally I wouldn't go alone, but everything that could go wrong with a hiking partner, did. So, I went alone. The first 6 nights were a breeze. I slept like a rock listening to the elk, loons, coyotes, and wolves all around me. Beautiful. The 7th night was very different. I was ~50 miles into my trip, at the confluence of the Yellowstone River and the Thorofare River, deep in the Thorofare. It had been raining on and off all day, then poured buckets in the early evening. When I was finally able to start a fire the sun had already set. I sat, deep in a thick stack of Pines with everything clicking all around me from the rain drops slowly falling down. Two elk cut right through camp (which was a glorified maze of game trails) and scared the crap out of me around 10:30 PM. Then around 11 they started fighting just on the other side of the river. The stomping and huffing you could hear. It was just a perfect combination of too much of the wrong noise. Around midnight I finally gave up and went to my tent, popped in some earbuds and passed out. It's amazing the feeling you have the next morning when you pop out and look around to your own chagrin that nothing even came close. Still, I felt what you were saying, lol... thanks!

This outdoor channel has thousands of people of all walks of life send in their experiences simply to get them off their chest and to let others know that if they have had similar experiences that they are not alone in a world where people love to judge and ridicule people for an experience they had, simply because others have not experienced the same things in their life. I've spent a ton of time in the woods hiking, biking and camping and have never had an experience, at least not for sure, but I do know someone who has, so I choose to believe people's Strange experiences even if I have not had them myself. There is much more to this world and universe than we know. A wise person knows that they know very little and is always open to learning new things. ru-vid.com

I remember sitting around a fire and looking at a tree line in the near distance. If I stared into it I could see shadows starting to form and then they seemed to writhe around. It’s amazing what your mind can do. Maybe its just deep dark primordial instinct kicking in to protect us of threats in the dark. Take it easy man 🤙🏼

Part of me knows it’s just an optical illusion but the other part of me thinks, what if those are people who mean me harm!? Our brain is preprogrammed to look for the human shape in nature no matter what situation or environment we’re currently in. Needless to say, when you’re alone in the dark, in a very remote place like in the open wilderness, it’s amazing what your brain comes up with.

Great video, thank you for sharing. When I was in my college years, my friends and I would go every summer and take the horses and camp up in the Rocky Mountains. This one year we rode past t bunch of old mining and logging camps that have long been abandoned decades earlier. It was getting dark and we decided to stop and camp at one of these old mining camps that had a mine shaft about 50 yards from the camp. The horses started to get really fidgety and ready to bolt. We couldn't get them to settle, so we decided to move on. We continued on and enjoyed our excursion throughout the next couple of weeks. When we were riding out we stopped at the ranger station to let them know we were leaving and we told him about the one camp that had the horses freaking out. The ranger asked where it was and we told him. He pulled out at book and said that camp was a site where an Indian attack wiped out the miners there. So I guess the spirits never left and didn't want us there!

I have a good friend I love to camp with out here in the Appalachians in Virginia. We decided to overnight at a place noted for a particularly brutal fight during the American Civil War. It was remote and lush but we camped in a clearing near an old structure reputed to have been used as an impromptu hospital and morgue during the war. As night began to fall just setting around the campfire talk of course turned to the war and all the reports of haunting and spooky things seen and happening in the area, which is why we picked that spot in the first place. I got to tell you, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up as we shared ghost stories and every time I heard something moving in the woods or field behind the structure beyond the light of our fire. We finally decided to call it a night and as we were turning in my friend fished out his 12ga Persuader shotgun from his pack. He loaded two shells and as he did I told him that was going to be useless against a ghost. His response (paraphrased) "oh this ain't for the ghosts, I just don't plan on letting them have their way with me...this will be a whole lot quicker" to which I said "oh, so that's why you only bought two cartridges with you..." Yup..another semi-sleepless night in camp!

Yeah, I try to stay away from places like that. Enough stuff goes on in the woods at night without adding a creepy old house. lol. I also never sleep in a tent. Half shelter only for security reasons. Takes me about one second to roll out with my light and weapon to check out suspicious noise. When you feel a persistent unease, listen to your instincts.

I really like your camping spot even though it’s a bit creepy at night. It’s amazing how remote that area is considering how the remains of that house sit in a section of forest with nothing around it. Speaking of that, Another viewer said that your overnight stay really spoke to him and it also spoke to my own personal experiences when you see shadowy figures that aren’t there. In his words he said; “Maybe it’s just the deep dark primordial instinct kicking in to protect us of threats in the dark.” Based off his words I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone wilderness camping either solo or with a buddy only to see the silhouette of what looks to be another human or group of people completely enveloped in the shadows. Part of me knows it’s just an optical illusion but the other part of me thinks, what if those shadows are people who mean me harm!? Our brain is preprogrammed to look for the human shape in nature no matter what situation or environment we’re currently in. Needless to say, when you’re alone in the dark, in a very remote place like in the open wilderness, it’s amazing what your brain comes up with.

Yeah. I was hiking in the mountains behind my house. Stopped at a bench at the top for a bite to eat and there was a low cloud and a quite strong wind. Quite eerie. As clear as day I heard children laughing in the distance behind me. And the wind was blowing in the opposite direction to the sounds. Even weirder is that the area I heard the sounds is impassable bogland. I didn't sit on the bench too long

Great video. I think we shouldn’t ignore our sixth sense or subconscious because it’s often smarter than we know. I was once standing just outside some woodland and felt that I was being watched from a high branch in a pine tree. The branch was under shadow from the above needles so I trained my binoculars on the branch and behold, there was a grey squirrel standing stock still and watching me. These “feelings” come from our past when we lived in the wild and depended a lot more on all our senses working in unison in order to live. Ray Mears’s book We Are Nature is an excellent reference for this sort of thing.

I also saw something, but at normal playback speed it's such a short moment that you don't really notice it - could be the reflection of a branch in the wind, or Haze itself reflected in the window. But at 0.25% playback speed (can be adjusted with the "gear") you can clearly see a face looking around the corner for a moment... I know that the human brain is programmed to discover faces everywhere (e.g. in clouds) but the color and shape of the "face" doesn't match anything that could have been reflected there! And the movement really is like someone taking a quick peek around the corner, afraid of being seen. Absolutely creepy! 😱

Without giving away the location this place is said to be the home of a Fairy called *Name Redacted*. There is a few folktales about her, one of which she chopped a horse in half, so that’s nice. It’s said she doesn’t like visitors unless they leave her an offering or gift, something personal and something valued. If you believe in things like that. If you want I can link you to the stories. It is healthy to keep a open mind. As a person that has done lot of fieldwork during the night, to study nocturnal wildlife, sometimes even in king hunting grounds or close to abandoned houses and cemeteries (in most cases unintentionally, because I only found out that later, when I looked at my positions on the map), I have had a few experiences which I can´t really explain. it wasn´t that common, but some stuff could be possibly explained by residual energy which was stored on stone (like chalk) or other local substrates ,and manifesting out like it was a old cassette, while some other stuff, seemed too intelligent, intentional and interactive, to be simply regarded as «residual noise.» These unexplained happenings were rare and always made me feel more surprised than scared, because I wasn´t feeling scared before I witness the events (I´m used to be out at night, after all) and because I wasn´t really expecting something strange to happen. Sometimes I had some colleagues with me which witness the same unusual hapennings . Most experiences were visual, some were perceived as obvious touch and a few were evident on audio recordings (which were meant to record animal sounds). I don´t know about the supernatural, but I guess that there are some things that we still don´t understand or simply have no idea. But it surely helps to open our minds, when we witness stuff happening in front of our eyes. Maybe some areas are more prone to strange things to happen? Maybe some of the places which have been regarded as «haunted» by their owners and by several ghost researchers, have really something going on? I don´t know, but maybe one day we will have an answer. The best advice that I can give, right now, is keep a open mind and research things by your own. It is much more convincing, when we experience it ourselves, than by listening to others.

Energy don't lie hazey, that unease, feelings and seeing out the corner of the eyes is spirits trying to get in touch with you or just let you know they're there. A good thing to do if not too scared is talk to them and say to them your name, why your there and ask them to leave you alone, usually they will leave you be. If it's something negative light a candle in the corner of that area of where you're seeing the most energy, they don't like the light. Namaste outta trouble hazey

Nature has taken millennia to get us to this point in our evolution. That’s why you should never discount those gut/chest feelings. They developed to keep us safe and alive. There is *definitely* something wrong at that site. I’m extremely sensitive to these things (don’t take the pi*s please, this is just my experience) and I wouldn’t want to be taking any feelings back home with me from there. It is residual, but it is also current. Time is not a linear thing either now, or on the woo-woo side of things. I hope you will see my post. Your video just popped up first time so I decided to watch it do to the title as I wanted to see if any paranormal activity is there. That place is very creepy, its hunted the spirits are trapped there that's why you felt uneasy and someone is watching you. The mirrors have very bad energy stuck to them, I would have not stayed there for sure. Always listen to your gut feelings as its always on point. I had the similar feelings when I had a spirit in my flat where I had to move into. He didn't leave me alone, he even attacked me, I was never been so scared in my life as I was not believing in these things can physically hurt you also if its an aggressive one. I have been sensing spirit since my child hood which has rapidly developed recently. I am a medium. Long story cut, love your video, but I have to ask you is there anybody there with you as I saw a man's face with dark hair popped out his face from behind the window - I did freaked out a bit. You can see the man's face at time step 22:43 for two - seconds, you need to slow down the play back speed to 0.25 and you will be able to see clearly the man when you turn back to the windows his head shows up in the middle to the left window right after you move your hand away. Its a very beautiful place, but its filled with paranormal activity and not very nice energy stuck to it. You need to protect your self energetically or not to go to such a hunted place if its possible. I am just talking from my horrific experience with dark spirit. Keep safe and keep the amazing videos coming!
