@@UAGoWSuplexer I wanna see you beat him in a 1v1 If you can’t get in contact with stique then duel me (im pretty trash, if you don’t win then you’re really bad)
Sets of matchups: Rounds Matchups: Rounds Locations within a matchup: Rounds e.g. "They could win this round on this Brazil round, which would round out the first round sending us into the quarterfinal round."
1:25:40 as a Brazilian, I noticed that, even being in China, it was Portuguese. I thought the game was in Portuguese (as I play sometimes) but it was Macau hahaha
I've had that Andorra round at 52:52 before. I would have 5k'd, just saying. (I think it may have been in a GeoWizard play along, but that part may be a fever dream.)
Ive never seen this youtuber before. I dont really care about geoguesser. I was just curious cuz i saw your channel name was RAINBOLT. thats my family name..
That’s how I feel! Then I remember that I wasn’t able to do it for the prior 12 rounds 😅 Still, it’s cool to gain intuition by watching this fun content
Those guys know geography at almost perfection but even the best geography teacher in the world would not distinguish certain places, every single game and sport has it's little tricks that can help you.
I completely agree with you. In my mind, Geoguessr is meant to simulate you as a person being plonked somewhere in the world, and then using your knowledge about geography to deduce where you are. Meta-tricks would not be present if you were actually plonked there in real life, and should ideally not be present in the game in my opinion. There will always be meta clues that are impossible or very hard to limit, such as picture quality, follow cars, rifts in the sky.. But it is quite easy to turn off the car meta and at least limit these, as you rightly say, non-geographical clues. It should be said that I really like Rainbolt and the Geoguessr pro community, and respect that you have to learn these meta-clues to be competetive. That being said, I saw a Rainbolt video in which he gave a tip about guessing Estonia - apparantly, the pictures taken there have a slightly blue tint, I assume due to the camera settings. It made me think of an extreme example: what if every country had a slightly differently coloured hue in their coverage, and Geoguessr was just about memorizing these 100-ish nuances? Would that be a fun game, and would mastering this game say anything about your geographical knowledge? I really do hope that one day, every Geoguessr location will have the same generation of camera coverage, and no usable car meta. Whenever I explain these meta-clues to people who are new to Geoguessr, the universal reaction has been that it is a lame way to play the game.
