Arise-Heart by itself shuts down almost the entire Yu-Gi-Oh, and until it gets banned, enjoy the "draw the out or scoop" format

Definitely feels weaker than tear was when it came out. Absolutely agree going 1st is kinda ass. It bricks too much and everyone is playing Kaiju, nibiru and books. Better to go second, board break and OTK or get close and then red-eyes burn them or set up your field to fight their depleted resources on turn 3.

Good video man I liked seeing Kashtira used skillfully outside of their brain dead “banish and lock everything” plays.

Why would I make the deck when it’s all UR’s and they’re going to destroy the deck on the ban lists?

Kashtira is quite powerful, but it’s definitely not going to be as oppressive as Tearlaments which had negates, shufflers and so many moving parts that needed to be kept track of, to even have a chance to win.

At this point I only play to collect daily gems and hope for accessories I find interesting to get released (give us a Ruby Carbuncle deluxe mate Konami!)

I just put fenrir on field using Crystal beasts and 8/10 times they scoop

I can't wait for Sam to make dozens and dozens of videos on combating against Kashtira and it getting really old like he did with Tearlaments

Just last night i made a makeshift Kashtira deck and only have like 3 extra deck monsters, but it's one of the most oppressive decks I ever used. Only thing i saw really mess me up is Kaiju's, lava golem, evenly matched, raigeki, etc

TBH I'd run two Thrusts to search for pot of prosperity. and there are a few cards in this list that you could take out for the 2 thrusts.

I legit give Arise Heart 2 to 3 months before he's banned. Way too powerful

Ya this is certainly a great going second deck profile but Kashtira is best going second really only in the mirror and a lot of those staple cards are going to brick if you go first … against any other deck that’s not a mirror match you gotta go FIRST with Kashtira! Arise-heart shuts down just about every other deck on its own, plus if you got some locked zones, Fenrir, hand traps, Crossout to stop evenly matched, and/ or big bang… ya just going first is always the better option and building a Kashtira deck for going first is the better option! Worst case in the mirror you can still get a Zeus

I've been very underwhelmed while dueling kash in ranked. They are far less dominating than Tearlaments was in it's prime.

I actually didn't have much trouble with Kashtiras a few times. Instead of being some predictable meta player. All I really needed to do was study current popular archetypes. Figure out their strengths and weaknesses. So, I built a custom deck by utilizing mainly Ra and Ojamas. Using Ojamas Trio and Duo really saved my ass against Subterrors.

Can't even play a casual match without having to face kash, it's brutal

Kashtira mirrors are so fun. Taking control of an opponent’s Arise-Heart and then making your own is awesome. I’m glad Arise-Heart is not limited so it doesn’t come down to whoever Unicorns first.

Fossil dyna, summon limit, floodgate trap hole, veiler, book of moon, gravekeepers, evenly, only be one, macro cosmos/D fissure, anti xyz such as galaxy eyes. Don't see why kash is such a issue. And there are plenty more I haven't listed. Know it depends on what you draw, but kash is in the same position

Man yu gi oh back in the day was about having fun with a deck you like now it is hard to do that only if you near perfect deck to counter and perfect hands for every game

Better option for making players stop playing kashtira as soon as the summon their card leave do not give them the satisfaction of playing their deck

Can I point out that the only reason Ariseheart is so dreaded is because of the tabletop’s best of three format that deliberately prevents a blind second deck from overtaking it in the end? I’ve already taken down Ariseheart boards several times now just by understanding what they put out to support it, then turboing out Hu Li with a Dance ES. Only losses were because of bricking on my opening hand a few times, but that’s just because I don’t want to limit my chances of not opening with Ha Rei, Hu Li or Ni Ni + a Dance.

Iknow its not the best card but there is a card that is a quick spell that can SUCK your opponents Xyz monster and attach it to your XYZ monster 😂

I've only lost once to Kashtira when playing Crystal Beast. Won every other game the rest. And I'm playing only the overdrive version over the control build. So I need to see what rise will do for the game.

Say, Sam. I need advice on how to farm UR. I always struggle to get UR when want to build a powerful deck. Not to mention, I'm frustrated with the pulls whenever I spent my 1000 gems that makes me feel like my effort to farm gems are wasted.

played the deck for a couple of ranks and its a solid 10/10 on the cancer scale, but with diablosis it would easily be a 12 or 13 imo. had to wash my hands afterward for sure and think its getting old quite quickly, will def not play it further ftm. most impactful however for me is thrust which is outing kashtira turn 1 singlehandedly and many other decks too. shifts some power to going 2nd which I appreciate, except in mikankos hands.. that deck is just silly as well

Kashtira's biggest weakness... Chaos hunter + archfiend palabyrinth. You get a 3000 atk monster that prevents kashtira cards banishing anything.

I've gone up against 3 decks of this already, and it's super annoying.

Gravekeeper, Necrovalley and royal tribute stomps this deck.

I’ve gone up against this deck a few times with my purelly deck and the surrender is inevitable.

Imagine being the rescue ace player, and being a RU-vidr like " hey guys today I'm gonna be showing you how absolutely broken rescue ace is" then sam destroyed him, like " that's all for today's video, you can't win them all but hopefully I showed you guys how powerful rescue ace can be, see you guys in the next video" cut to Sam's video.....this is a cancer everyone 😂😂🤣😭😂

it also synergizes with D Shifter so as long D shifter resolves even if go second, Tearlament-punk engine player usually will pass the turn or surrender. I never Knew being toxic is the best feeling ever in MD, completely shut down any rogue deck and preventing opponent to make any move and surrender immediately, especially when they don't draw the out. #ToxicBestDeck.

Yeah so op i just got DLV 17 using an deck like dis but u still sometimes need to to draw more cards so im using 3 copies of scared sword 7 stars it helps alot with 3 copies of kashtira birth spell

I've really been looking forward to trying out full power kashtira since I like the artwork and never played it in paper cuz it was way too expensive. After only 2 days I want it gone. It's so unfun to play and play against. It's inconsistent and when you do get going, everyone just quits cuz they don't want to play against it. And even if you do set up a board, it has little protection and just gets picked apart. Plus we all know it's a deck on borrowed time because of its performance in the physical card game. It feels like the last huge pain point before we get to an actually interesting meta

Tearlaments has been in the garbage in MD for a while now. They just kept hitting it and hitting it. I quit seeing anyone play it after Merrli was banned and yet they still continued to hit it. They even continued to hit Spright which hasn't been relevant for a while now either. Their recent banlists have been pointless, to say the least.

Nbs my favorite decks are : Starry Knights/ Starry Dragon Element Saber Ninja 🔥 Everything else is just extra cheesey, they need to make more decks that don’t go into extra decks for powerful mons.

Kurikara helped me clean this deck up in Purely. I have Kashtira and the problem is the deck is toxic and fun 😅 you feel good playing it
