I 100% agree with you, the problem that I have, is that a lot of people are so stuck on the idea of winning instead of having fun. SO, you end up fighting the same characters over, and over, and over again. And it gets boring (not really) pretty quickly.
Meanwhile I'm running thematic teams, like Frieza with henchmen, or all Androids, or just refuse to leave 1st form as cell just because I like his design and I'm having a blast. A guy did say something along the lines of "The fist days of multiplayer games are the fun ones since no one's figured out the meta, then it starts getting worse because the meta huggers start running the same stuff every game."

How stupid can they fkn be it’s actually so infuriating. Yaji is stronger then most 6dps at a 2 dp. Idc how unbalanced the games supposed to be, he’s by far an outlier to being completely unbalanced in a COMPETITIVE game mode. “Games causal chill for fun don’t nerf anyone it’ll ruin the game1!1!1” actual idiots so fkn stupid. Nerf him only in ranked for all i care but he is by far too op for his cost. I’ve beaten him every time except for once, but I’m at a huge disadvantage by not wanting to be an incel for using him in ranked and it’s so unfun and uncompetitive in an competitive supposed to be fun game/game mode.
A,so “just don’t let him heal” is ridiculous. The biggest skill gap in this game is the defensive mechanics, a good player with yajirobi will pull off at least, AT LEAST 1 heal. Which already makes yaji a 5-6 bars of hp with max combo stat and good skills at TWOOO dp. 1 short knock back string for yaji = 2-3 bars of hp. Not to mention how he starts with 2 skill, so all he needs is 3 for the first heal. And if he gets low with not enough skill he can get switched out and gets healed. Just stupid and completely unbalanced for 2 dp. Either 1 nerf his senzu bean to be used max 2 times or increase his dp. Anyone who disagrees is actually stupid considering at the end of the day it’s RANKED we all hate him on.
This t creator saying “get better” and “I’ll start beating him” is so stupid. He’s fkn 2 dp. He’s acting like it’s a normal 5-7 dp character for us to master how to fight him. At 2 dp he’s supposed to be fodder, at most taking ur 5-7 dp character to 1-2 bars, not be the main fkn issue and biggest asset of ur team. Bitch about how the games supposed to be unbalanced, but nothing comes close to yaji (aside from androids but they at least have more counterplay then yaji and cost more. Icl the game is unplayable... Am in the UK using PS5 and ots rare to find normal player matches, idk why... So i play ranked since it gives me constant matches, but all i run into is no fun cheap cheesy teams, i promise you they dont have fun, idk why they bought the game to play a combination of niche characters just to climb the leader board not even via skill... Via hp, timeout, and spam... If they fix player match making it will good enough since I'll play against normal players using teams with actual characters they like

Winning because you have 5 characters and the time runs out definitely needs to be addressed and I think the DP values need to be reevaluated. I think people are highly resistant to any nerfs right now considering the current trend in gaming is devs nerfing everything down instead of buffing weak things up, which definitely kills the fun but sometimes things do need to be nerfed.

It's really not okay that last guy lost, something has got to change about how victory is awarded on time out. I want to see a sudden death mechanic, where each player chooses one of their remaining characters to fight to the death. Mr. Satan sitting in the fifth slot with full health should not be deciding your victory unless he actually comes out and wins a fight.

Honestly feel like 1st First form Cell is a better route to go. Vanish builds your Skill points up so quick due to how often Vanish battles happen. If you get Sparking and land your Life Drain Ultimate, Then transform after they are knocked back. 2nd Form comes in with FULL Ki and you immediately use another Life Drain (3 Ki Bars) from his Super skill to get alot of life back. First form's Ultimate puts them in free fall where they can't recover. They have to time a vanish to avoid the 2nd form Life drain follow up. If you don't need another life drain, use the Bang Crash Super to mix up the timing of their vanish. It's damage either way. Alot of options especially since 1st cell has AfterImage too for safety against the Gods/Fusions/Big Daddy characters.

My main fun team is ssj vegeta, gt goku, teen gohan. Cheese when I'm mad is broly super, broly, wajirobe, chiatzuo, satan. The game is lit, for giants block, get around, then attack. For swords not really sure other than learn the timing and patterns. For sleep or regeneration, put the pressure and keep it, but if he heals take the L, don't give up, atleast mash. For android or grabby characters either move, fight back, or learn to counter it. The way I fight is going back and forth powering up as we go, no supers or sparking unless it's to finish off, but anything goes, fight, don't get mad, adapt, or lose. Not everyone's a fighter let alone a winner
The only balance i would accept is a cost balance, so just make giants more expensive so they can lose on time if you're resist and fight well, and how you said yourself maybe there is already a good way to fight giants as toxic as theirs. Nice video man keep it up :D

While I don't personally like to play the most optimal/cheesy strats especially things like stalling with 5 characters I wouldn't begrudge anyone who does. If it is in the game some people are going to take advantage of it. It just is what it is, and you have to learn to deal with it or do it yourself.

They should make it so you can ban certain characters so you can have fun playing the game and not match up with the characters you don’t like. Ban as in the game doesn’t match you up with players who play those characters

Finish your 5 melee combo string hitting a giants back, then move foward, start another one and repeat, this stun locks most giants from what i can tell. Saw this in that tourny Dom won Edit: oh and you can move around giants faster so use that to your advantage aswell
There’s just no way you can expect people to just play the game how YOU want them to. The exact same way that YOU have a great time by being cheesy, THEY have a great time by getting the fuck away from your cheese lmfao. If you just cheese then you aren’t truly using the mechanics of the game, you’re only using the strongest parts without any basic skill foundation and there’s no reason to play with you.
I'm terrible at the game ill admit that, I do think it's really funny that people get mad at this sort of thing if we leave the roster with no "broken" mechanics at all there's what like probably 40 people out of 183 that's not going to get stale real fast. I completely agree with you
Its unfortunate bc the base of the game is good but the dp system just lets you take too mucha advantage of low level characters with cheese strats + the default timer is too short for having up to 5 characters so its just optimal to spam switching and healing
I learned how to fight against giants since my friend always picks them in team battle when I fight him. My strat is just to dance around them by doing short dashes and punching the shit outta him. Just keep pressure on them by buzzing around them like a fly Just think of it like playing dark souls

This is literally me because I hate people who take giants so much, I can take immortal yajirobis all day. I do hate how everyone hates after image strike users. It's easy to counter with ki blasts, and it makes the game fair for low dp characters like Videl who doesn't even have combo strings you can do or follow up with. It also takes a whole skill slot and cost three skill points, I think it balances out
C'mon most of these ppl either dont remember or weren't introduced to the game around the time. Budokai 3 was my first n fav. Played everything else. But B3 and BT1-3 got me hooked. All the goof ass things you could do, AND YA HAD TO FIGURE IT OUT, was the greatest feeling my 8yr old self saiyan prodigy geeked on. I just got done getting my ass beat by my 8yr old talking TRASH today. Full circle and im loving it!!
Honestly I don’t have many problems with the balancing of characters other then Yajirobe who is getting nerfed. I’m only like C4 and so far only have run into one team with a giant.

I hope they keep it the way it is. No one wants an overly balanced sucked the fun out esports dbz game. At the same time i will never "keep exploiting the game untill they fix it". That is a very toxic way to play and is not sustainable long term for anyone, i pick characters i like from the anime and choose characters i think are cool and am interested in at the time, choosing "cheesy" "meta" characters is never cool and is just a L bozo way to play a game like this.

I love playing fat janamba cause he one of my favorite characters and being able to transform into super janamba is awesome too, but all I get is hate for it 😂 tho the rest of my team is tapion, pan, and krillin which are pretty 'balenced' per se. Except for krillin that man is low key crazy
Still haven’t gotten the game but really want to. Know there’s gonna be a big change coming from the amount of complaints so maybe will wait til that happens before I get to invested into a certain play style that will probably change
