My parents were watching a horror movie. I was, frankly, on a quest to get this water. I was tripping REALLY hard. Roughly 4 grams of APES. Well in the movie as the lights went out. A strong gust of wind knocked our power out. My brain went apeshit. Such a simple occurrence scared the shit outta me
One time when I was smoking fire ants, I hallucinated that I forgot to file my taxes and my wife cloned our dog. What's wild is that our mirror in our bedroom wasn't in the living room, but I thought it was involved. Really horrified me that I couldn't cheese things to get over this whole mirror wife dog clones business. Had to get therapy at my local Target.
Cop checkpoint and I was driving ...Was about to call my lawyer,I was high as fuck ...Cop waved me on ...Last time I ever drove under the influence of anything.
I’m utterly AMAZED that they were able to immediately administer CPR. Sober people in traumatizing situations don’t even have the cognition to do that in the moment (most go into shock and can’t think straight). The fact that they were tripping balls and still went straight to CPR is just.. incredible. That guy is a hero. For those who don’t know, every minute that CPR is delayed, survival reduces by 10%.
CPR in these situations just makes it shoot out faster especially if there’s a entrance & exit wound ; so your best bet is to make sure you’re not the next one lol
@@awol333 doesn’t matter. The fact that they still went into “save this man’s life” mode is pretty impressive. That’s an instinct that’s usually reserved for first responders or medical professionals.

I can tell that the OP in the first story is a very kind and empathetic soul, not many people would give that much consideration to a stranger. I hope that he is able to process and cope with having to experience that
That first op experienced a horror, not many make it to the point they can share the experience, even sober. The traumatization endured while tripping is unimaginable. I hope they find a way to heal and get help. I have been through brutality while in such a state it took intense dedication for many years to get to a point that I came to terms with the experience and healed. To the OP: it will get better.
I'm keeping this dude in my prayers today. Even if he'd been sober, this would have been an extremely traumatic experience. I hope God brings him peace, and also to the deceased's family.
I work in EMS and thoughts and prayers to the tripper and all those involved in that situation. He did all he could do and the best he can do now is live the best he can in the memory of the deceased. Life is precious and death reminds us of that
To the person in the first story... I am sending all the love. Recovery from trauma like this is long and non-linear so don't lose faith. You're clearly a strong person.
“Let’s all come together and support this person” You: *Channels their inner sociopathy* Like seriously give the person a break they were tripping off psychedelics (which likely is among the worst experiences in their life if not THE worst) and definitely weren’t thinking straight
My message to the tripper would be this, life is full of insane and wild moments, no matter what path you take. The love, the pleasure, the amazement, and every incredible emotion but all of that is counterbalanced by the regret, the depression, hoplessness, and the abject horror of physical and mental brutality. All of these components of life are not only necessary but must be appreciated even if we don’t want to. To fight against evil and injustice is to have morals and to swim against the chaotic current of life. We all have to do what we can to live with ourselves at the end of the day. But never, ever, waste this life we are given and never stop moving. One day we will all pass on and its important to keep moving forward while we are here and live life the best way we can, and fight for what we believe in. For me that means peace, love and community but it can mean different things to different people.
That person must have a heart of gold and the story made me super emotional. Good on you Mr. Trip for encouraging positive juju flow… Hopefully if the person trips again they will be filled with love from us instead of the traumatic memories. God Bless xoxo 💓💓💓

Anyone would have a bad day after experiencing that! I think he handled it better than I would have sober, I would been to scared to do anything but stand there with my fear! Kudos you done all you could for that man!

Though I know that person will probably never see my comment, I'd like them or anyone reading this to know that you did your best and that's all you could have done. Simple as. We live in a cruel world where bad things happen to innocent people. Use this experience to better yourself and those around you; know now how limited your time here may be and use it to spread love and positivity to all.
Has anyone else heard of Trazodone for trip killers? I started seeing some posts about it on Reddit and lots of people say they think it's better of an alternative to benzos for bad trips. I'm trying to trip alone for the first time in a national park soon and was going to have some on hand just in case
@@420StonedToParallels I personally been prescribed trazodone, it’s way more effective for insomnia and sleep than it is for anxiety. Also is it your first trip ever?? Or just in an outdoor setting

I pray the audience gives as many condolences and everyone listening prays for these people. These people (trip report authors and whatnot) made these decisions and mistakes themselves and some (only some) have no self control whatsoever. So the last thing you should do is feel bad for them.

Yeah, I’m apparently feeling quite spicy today with my replies- what an ignorant comment. A bad trip (or in your words, “scary thoughts”) can absolutely be an “actual” traumatic event. You don’t need “evidence” either, you simply need to know the definition of the word Traumatic: “emotionally disturbing or distressing” “Scary thoughts”, especially ones that are out of one’s control due to being high, can be and are absolutely distressing- in fact; PTSD induced by psychedelics isn’t unheard of. Simply search (because youtube won’t let me link articles) “Can a bad trip give you ptsd?”
Ehh I feel like you've read crazier trip reports than this Just cause it was so short and only 1 crazy thing happened and the person didn't even die and the person that saw their body didn't even actually see the whole thing go down. Not hating, but best wishes and kind regards to the family
