I am not scared of much and am often bored by horror, but I think this modpack would actually make me shit myself, literally (and I do use that term in the proper way).

For the first time in a while, the start of this video actually scared me to watch a little. I don't do horror very well at all but I love these videos.

Yet another video that makes me wish I had a decent pc and could do RU-vid. The ability to grow a community, do collabs, create life long friendships, have people enjoy the content you create, and the best part is you could turn it into a full on career.

it would be good if you add the sanity: descent into madness mod, i think it will made this truly scary in case the character becomes crazy (you can avoid it of course if you are enough cautious)

I wanted to play with the Cave Dweller once in my singleplayer world (i dont know how to set up essential) and i've never been so scared in my life, i thought it would've been just like the funny minecraft videos, no it aint. i didnt even get to a cave but i dipped during nighttime. simply had me shivering, the Cave Dweller is not the hardest to kill but it sure is the scariest one, it roams around freely and you could find him as you turn a damn corner. literally scary af.

I am new here, and i really enjoy this video, but what shocked me was the Weeping Angel appearence. I swear that has to be some kind of Doctor Who reference, i don't know much about this mod but if it's really an entity taken from the bbc series Doctor Who it's gonna be so awesome

I'm playing now, I'll report everything that happened. I entered the world and went to get wood, I made a stone pickaxe and got more wood for a house to spend the night. I made the house 3 blocks high and covered the entrance with stones, the sound at night was scary, a while later, a strange creature with very sharp teeth started surrounding my house, screaming and running, after it left, my house started to catch fire, I picked up some rocks from the ground to cover the damaged part and hid in the ground. Dawn came, the door was broken, both of them. I got as much wood as I could, repaired the door and made an observation tower, got some food and again covered the door with stones. The night finally arrived. I went up to the observation tower and watched, there was nothing too scary except for a ghostly thing down there. After a long time without anything happening, on the mountain... It was there, looking at me. When I looked back, it disappeared at once. I was scared but not too scared because it had gone away, a few seconds later, a strange song started playing, I looked around the tower looking for the creature but I didn't see it, just my house.The music stopped and I decided to leave the world because besides being late, I'm very scared.

Not to throw shade but Fear Nightfall is much scarier than this, especially if you play on hardcore where there's actual stakes. You won't have time to piss around or troll your friends since you'll both be fighting for your lives.

You know what. From the amount of backlash i've been seeing against horror modpacks and horror gamey stuff in general is kind of ridiculous now. If a horror modpack that is suppused to be terrifying isn't even thought to be the right kind of horror..Then what is horror even suppoused to be at this point? Does it really have to be so scary that it leaves an acual truamatic scar on us? Or should it just truamatize us for life. It doesn't matter if horror has to be at such a level to make it scary. If the purpose of horror is to scare us, then jumpscares and loud noises make total sense! Loud sudden noises can be so scary it can definitely cause a heart attack. And being stalked can cause of feeling of not being alone! Including being stared at for hours in utter silence until you turn away and its right in your face then kills you. And most important of all, how it can make horror an awesome experience. So im sorry if this had hurt anyones opinions on horror but if something is ever gonna be scary, it has to scare you in any way possible.
