Great vlog Brendan! Looking forward to making my third visit to Iceland in 3 weeks. Will be in the north this time, having been to Reykjavik twice. Wellies are packed!
I went to Iceland a few years back in February for the northern lights. What fantastic landscape for photography ! After watching this video I want to go back !
very nice.. you guys are lucky.. when I went there, there was like 50 cars and 4 big buses full of chinese.. I'll never forget this waterfall, where i've got shoved and fall with all my gear.. hahahaha good experience!
Great episode again Brendan! I'm loving this Iceland series. Those boots and a shower cap, what more could you possibly want in Iceland? Except for maybe a filter holder. . . ;)
Amazing waterfall :D Wish i was there in that trip. damn, next time hopefully i wont have classes and that +part if finished, so maybe i'll come to one of your trips :D
Did you keep hiking up the Fimmvörðuháls trail.after kvernufoss? There's around 24 more falls along the trail and it's well worth the hike if you had the time.
Did you have any problems with volcanic dust getting into everything? yea the Wellies help a lot. Which I had a pair when I was in Iceland. Two notes here Shower caps and Rubber boots.
Hey! Great Video! Im just wondering what time of year this is? We're planning on getting married at the end of May and I'm highly considering this location for our ceremony. Thanks!
Hey might be a weird question but was there someone called Fabio Antenore with you? He was in the same location around the same time i believe and he is a great photographer too! Great video too man :)
you're not supposed to tell people where this one is!!! Let them all hog skogafoss and the people in the know can be here all alone... We had this to ourselves for an hour both this year and last year. This year as we were leaving a priest was walking in with a B&G for a wedding!
Didn't see anyone else when we were there either. I do think that because you have to hike to Kvernufoss most people are still too lazy to go into it. haha
that and the fence and the awkward parking lot keep it kinda quiet I think? If you know the name it's easy enough to google and find. It's one of my fav falls for sure as well. Not sure how much is the solitude but it's amazing. When you walk over that ridge and see everything it's just jaw dropping!
