For future reference and anyone doing this. The rear brake lever doesn’t have to be removed, you can just unhook it from the rear master cylinder and then you’ll have enough extra slack upwards to get the foot peg pin out.
@@dennisshepherd3977 i think any year 2006 and up yz250f, yz450f, wr250f, wr450f will work. These specific ones are from an 08, but they look exactly the same as the ones off the 2022s
Love the idea. I tried to mimic this and got a set of the same pegs, or so I thought. Mine don’t sit perfectly level however and are canted slightly upwards. They are also claimed to be titanium, but are magnetic. Are yours perfectly level? Are they magnetic? Great tip regardless.
Just in case anyone else is looking for aftermarket pegs, the Zeta YZ450, WR250F pegs will fit on the stock WR250R bracket. I put a set on today after snapping the stock ones off. The spring will not fit but you can either buy the spring kit online or just do what I did and run a washer inside with the bolt to stop the pegs from moving around. Doesn’t spring back but it’s good enough and doesn’t move! If you can get the real 250R pegs I’d get those but around here we only have the dirt bike ones on the market.
@@yzrippin hahha not very exciting. They just got warped over time from rocks and shit. Eventually one day came too hot off a drop and she just snapped.
